Struggling Childhood and Resilience for Success.That's Matar, the least known boy with magnetic aura and go-getter attitude, titbits of lack, odd and rushed childhood. If third world is a person, Matar would be atypical definition of third world. Everything, except birth happened late in in his life. Unlike other children, mostly his peers who wake and run to school, Matar is wired differently and he has no choice: Waking earlier than any other child his age,washing utensils, fishing at dawn in the hippos infested lake, walking 2 km everyday to vend milk in the nearest town Center and tying goats and sheep in the field besides farming,weeding or planting each morning depending on the season. All these he does religiously and in deep love for his dear Mama whom he has never imagined disappointing in his childhood. To his mama, Any, Matar must undergo this training.It's norm. Being the last born boy in a family of twelve and the second last overall,there's no likelihood of other male child. He must do smart to prove himself and this is like an induction to nobility that the family is famed for - refined character, self-discipline, eloquent debaters and inner beauty and uttermost brilliance.The irony of this tragic upbringing and manifest early academia by Danilo's children is obviously the talk of the community.As a result even Matar's senior brothers in school and sisters- who got married to pave way for brothers to raise fee had to be extraordinarily manifest in class to command respect in school without which none of Denilo's child would have gone beyond Nursery due to their Orthodox timing, not wearing school uniform and being untidy but exceptionally good in class & positively influencing friends. Dedication to homeschooling & self education through materials that were used by other seniors during free time. Every senior had to leave a trace of books heaped in one corner that provided the other with the impetus to work.This academic routine led to excellence.…
