Everything was going just fine for Scott and Chromia. Sure, the occasional egotistical god, or mischievous goblin, or a cat posing as a human came around to annoy him, and sure he got a little lonely with only his vibrant clothes and Empire to keep him company. Besides all that, he was fine. Happy, even.

But his entire world shatters when she arrives on his doorstep.
