Marcus Volturi, while out on a early morning walk, finds a woman collapsed on the streets of Volterra. He wants to leave her alone, but his gift tells him he cannot leave her behind. He takes her to Volturi headquarters to help her recover so that he can give her some money and send her home to America. Fortunately, love has another idea for the miserable widower vampire.
