Kalani: Ah, it seems Supreme General Jaune Arc has come into consciousness.
Jaune: Good to see you too, Kalani.
Magnhild: Wait, how is he and the rest of the Droids in the Supply Ship still functioning? We never got an explanation for that since we all know after Order 66 the Droids received the Shutdown Command.
Kalani: As you and your Clones already know, the Jedi Betrayal ended the War for most of the Galaxy. But here on Agamar, I assumed it was a Republic Trick and prevented the Shutdown Command.
Jaune: Guess, you got lucky then. But like I told you once, the War is over. We've been through this Charade before Kalani. Let me go.
He glanced to see Sev is giving Jaune questioning look.
Jaune: It ain't my first time here in Agamar. Never really encountered Kalani but knew he was here because he spoke to me on Comms. It's the first time we saw each other face to face after our last Battle back in the War.
Kalani: And let me remind you that your General came to Agamar with a disadvantage. My Droids have searched your Vessel and found Battalions of Battle Droids that have been shut down and stored in your Shuttle. I presume you wish for an opportunity to end the Clone Wars as how you see fit?
The Super Tactical Droid stares at Jaune, but Jaune notices the looks coming from his Team of Clones. He answers their questions first.
Jaune: I had a Team pick up a Batch of decommissioned Droids from that one Factory I told you about.
Storm: Is that why you made me search for that Planet?
Jaune: Yes.
He then turns back to Kalani and answers his question.
Jaune: Tempting offer, Kalani. But I came here to ask for your help. Look, my Clone Cell has grown exponentially, our numbers are that of a Legion, maybe even more with our other Cells in the Galaxy. With your help, we can free more of my Brothers and for you, acquire more Droids for your Army. I know this is a fight we can't win, but the least we can do is survive. Together. We're not Enemies anymore but Allies.
When Jaune said that, the look of his Brothers were that of shock and utter disbelief. Sev being the one to say what all of them are thinking.
Sev: Jaune, are you serious? You want to ask the Droids for help? Of all your Plans, this one is dumb in my Book.
Kalani: The Clone Commando is correct. I have no intention on helping you against your War with the Empire. What I wish for you to do is to fight, to prove, once and for all who among our Tactical Strategies were superior.
Jaune: Fighting is pointless. Why waste our own Men to fight each other when we can fight the Empire?
Kalani: Based upon the Info I was able to acquire from Imperial Chatter. Your Raids, General, are quite known amongst Imperial Command. Despite that, I calculate you have less than a one percent chance of staging a successful Rebellion against the Empire. So, if the Droid Army wishes to survive, then I will decline your Offer, General.
Jaune: I know but we could at least try! You forget Kalani, we were Pawns of the same War and we all LOST.
He emphasized on the word "Lost", knowing exactly who was the Man that actually won this War.
Kalani: To me, Supreme General. The only thing that matter is a victory for the Separatist Alliance, and I know deep down you wish to end this Conflict with a victory for the Republic. Give ourselves a proper Battle to end the War as how we see fit.
This was met with Jaune looking down in thought, he didn't like it, but what Kalani said is true. Both he and Kalani never got a proper means to end the War on their own terms. Problem is, this is a complete waste of time and Resources for such a Battle, but deep down, Jaune knows he wants to accept it. A means of closure, so his use, his work, and training, all leads up to this. So it all won't go to waste.
Jaune: Fine, I'll do it.
To no one's surprise, this was met with shocked looks from his Brothers.
Sev: Jaune, you can't be serious.
Jaune: It's either that or our little predicament, Sev. If we refuse, Kalani will terminate us without a second thought. This is our only option.
This was met with Sev grunting in annoyance, he looks to the other 4 Clone Commanders to see them shrugging. Nothing they can do when the General is set on his decision.
Jaune: Like I said, General. We'll fight your-our Last Battle.
Kalani: Excellent choice, Supreme General. Considering the factors that are in play, I wish this Battle to be as authentic as a Battle in the Clone Wars. I will allow you three Rotations to gather your Forces, find a Jedi if the possibility presents itself, and return to this Planet. Once you have arrived, we can start our Final Battle. Do you agree with these terms?
Jaune: I do.
He drops Jaune's Helmet on the Floor and walks back to the Chair.
Kalani: Commander, present the Clones with their Helmets and Weapons, they are free to go.
The Droids head on over to the Clones with their Helmets and Weapons, removing their Cuffs as the Clones retrieve their Gear. Jaune looks over to his Brothers, giving them a nod that it's time to leave, they do so but not before Kalani says some final words to Jaune.
Kalani: I will see you soon, Arc.
Jaune stares at the Super Tactical Droid for a few seconds, then puts on his Helmet and takes his leave.
Timeskip
Miló: That was a bust.
Jaune: No, it's not. We'll come back, but we'll be ready.
The Group made it outside and are now on their way back to the Transport Shuttle, when they went inside, found the entire Cargo Area to be empty.
Jaune: Seems Kalani was able to empty out our Ship. Took all of the Droids I brought for him.
Crocea: Was it even a good idea to do that, Boss? You gave our Enemy an advantage. He has more Droids now than what he probably had before we came here.
Jaune: Thought it would work as a Peace Offering to the General. Turns out it played to our disadvantage.
His response besides the statement he said to Crocea, was also a shrug. It was a 50/50 shot and they got the short end of the Stick here.
Magnhild: Tell me about it, Boss.
Crocea and Storm now make their way to the Cockpit of the Transport Shuttle as Miló and Magnhild are double checking the Ship to ensure the Droids didn't try any funny business while they were in the Supply Ship. The minute the Shuttle started its Engines and closed its Doors, Sev walks over to Jaune, who is seen looking over a Datapad.
Sev: Are you sure you want to do this?
Jaune: If it means having one Final Battle with the Droids? Then yes. Besides, it's best I settle this once and for all. Hopefully if we're the victor, Kalani can listen.
Sev: Suit yourself.
Before Sev heads off to wherever it is in the Shuttle, he looks to Jaune and asks him one simple detail he remembered back in their Base on Teth.
Sev: Speaking of which, back at Base, when you showed me a possible Location for a new Base of Operations, where you even thought bringing in the Droids to this Planet was a good idea. Where exactly are we going into hiding, Jaune?
Jaune: It's my Home.
He brings out a Holoprojector and showcases a Holographic Image of a Planet, what Sev notices the most is the Shattered Moon hovering around the Planet.
Jaune: Remnant.
