The gang split up to find Steven. Jackie and Stevens school friends searching the town, the animals searching where he usually goes to be alone, and blazagon thrash and gigatusk searching the jungle

That's when Smaug with Steven, now stevenzilla come behind him

Smaug: so, your the losers of goo-jit-zu I heard so much about

Blazagon: ya hear for a lesson in but whooping? Your in luck! Cause school is in session!

When he slams his arm to the ground it morphed into a blade in front of his eyes!

Thrash: what the shrimp?!

Blazagon: our powers must be evolving. And I like it!

Smaug: doesn't matter. You'll end up like Steven here soon enough

Stevenzilla let's put a loud roar

Thrash: wait, that's Steven! Mind blown!

Rock jaw: let's do this!

Blazagon: back at ya!

The two duke it out as Smaug and stevenzilla make it to spirit valley

Smaug: beyond this valley, lies safe haven. But first, I shall destroy the animal spirits so they won't have any protection. That's where you'll come in my pet

Stevenzilla nods as he was still hypnotized. At that moment a familiar face comes to the scene

Smaug: what?!

Animus: ghidorah, we meet again after all these years

Smaug: how do you live? I killed you ten thousand years ago!

Animus: I was reborn to fight for the earth

Smaug: it matters not! I will put you out of your misery again!

The two fight as Smaug gets the upper hand. Meanwhile elephant and steel rhino see what is unfolding in front of them

Elephant: what in the world!

That's when stevenzilla sees them

Steel rhino: Steven?!

Stevenzilla roars but then wolf hammerhead and alligator spirits came to the scene as they combined to become the hunter mega zord

Predator mega zord: I'll take care of this beast! You help out king!

Elephant: right!

Elephant spirit let's put a mighty trumpet calling all the animal spirits large and small.

They all fight bravely as they assist their king fight of Smaug but they also had to defeat stevenzilla just as the rest of Steven's friends come to the battlefield

Damian; woah! Epic!

Aladar: what's going on!

Blazagon: ghidorah! He turned Steven into a monster and now their wanting to take over safe haven

Jackie: that's my baby?!

At that moment, four old friends land right next to them

Moxie: are you shitting me?!

The diamonds and spinel all come out and are just upset by all the insane craziness on the battlefield

White: why is something like this always happening when we show up for a visit

Blue; that's that pink beast?

Thrash: hello! That's Steven!

Blue: how?!

Laval: less questions, more turning Steven back!

Yellow fires her electricity powers at Steven's face but he just shook it off bellowing

She brings out a cloud of happiness and blows it to Steven only for him to roar it right at yellow and spinel who start laughing

Yellow: HAHAHAHA! Wow! Your new power, didn't work either! Hahaha!

Whit breaks it up

White: enough! If I connect with Steven, maybe I'll figure out what he's going through

The predazord holds Steven back as white comes up to him. White concentrates all her energy but stevenzilla just shoved her aside making her slam into a nearby hill. The beast then grabbed the predazord and slammed it or the ground. Stevenzilla then proceed to pummel it and slash at it, destroying the wolf hammerhead shark and alligator spirits all at once! At the same time the animal crystals the spirits were connected to shattered into pieces!

Jackie: no! He's destroying the animal spirits!

At the same time Smaug out animus out of his misery as well deserting him completely

Smaug: now my pet! Destroy them all!

The animal spirits combine into mighty mega zords to fight Smaug but stevenzilla fights them off, steel rhino and elephant help the best they can but they were shoved to the sides. Stevenzilla proceeds to defeat each of the Mega zords splitting them back up into individual spirits and destroying them and shattering their animal crystals one by one until they were extinguished forever

Zill: no! Dragon!

Jack: shark!

Kayla: Phoenix!

Damian: silver lion!

Spam: snake!

Venexa: yellow tiger!

Not even the animal spirit masters stood a chance as stevenzilla destroys each of them as well. That's when the falcon, deer, giraffe, and boar spirits combined into the mighty Isis mega zord

And the gorilla bear brothers rhino and armadillo made the strong kongazord

But even THEY weren't strong enough against stevenzilla! He just flat out deserted them all with ease until the spirit knights, red lion, noble tiger, soaring eagle, surging shark and iron bison were left and they charged into battle forming, the spirit knight mega zord

The knight mega zord fought bravely delivering as many blows as possible, but Smaug easily overpowered it smashing it to the ground

Smaug: your al that's left of the mighty animal spirits, now you shall join the rest in the afterlife!

At that moment Smaug left out a mighty devastating electrical blow splitting the night mega zord back into individual spirits. They all charged bravely but stevenzilla and Smaug both put them out of their misery! As swift and slippery as serpents, they lashed out at the spirit knights and destroyed them, one by one. The only ones that were left were the blue elephant and steel rhino who fled into hiding undetected by the two monsters, but watched in horror as all their friends were murdered before their eyes

Smaug: the animal spirits are finally extinct! Now nothing can stop me! Nothing!
