~~~ (Y/N) POV ~~~

          I was looking at a pair of large doors to an overly extravagant palace. 

|Haunting Voice|: "You don't need them. They'll just drag you down. They will want to make you theirs'."

          I ignored the voice as I opened the doors. There is an extravagant hall with a gilded red carpet with gold accents. I admired the leafy patterns as I walked forward. There were paintings along the wall that seemed to show the various sins progressing through the times. Changing clothes and styles. At the end of the hall was a set of stairs that went up and turned to the right to lead to a balcony catwalk area. I climbed the stairs and saw that the right side expanded to a dining hall area, with doors along the entire room.

|Haunting Voice|: "They'll just see you as a nuisance you know? As soon as you come crawling back to them, they will think of you as weak and throw you out."

          I continued to walk, getting cautious, not knowing where the inhabitants were. I reached the end of the table, putting my hand on the head chair, the largest of them all. My head snapped to ahead of me as the door opened and pride casually walked in, not surprised by my presence at all.

Pride: "Welcome back, I assumed you have come to talk? Or did you want to have another spar?"

(Y/N): "I'll pass on that."

Pride: "You know, I just have to know. Did you already get used to the 'Glutton for punishment'? Or are you just really good at taking hits?"

(Y/N): "What is glutton for punishment?"

|Haunting Voice|: "Don't listen to them, they will just lie to you."

          Pride smiled for a moment before continuing.

Pride: "What did he say to you? Well it doesn't matter. Glutton for Punishment is the name of Glutton's main unique skill. As long as he is hungry, getting hit only fuels him. At the cost of getting rid of his 'famished state'."

Pride: "Considering you don't know what I am talking about, then I must say. Your body is quite durable, I mean regeneration is one thing. But to keep taking hits like those, and keep on chugging through the force. Fascinating."

(Y/N): "Thanks but that's not what I am here to talk about."

Pride: "But it is what I am here to talk about. So a Diamond huh? What's your aura do exactly? What's your special trait? And from here on out I will let you know, that I have ears of pride, I can instantly detect any lie that is spoken to me."

(Y/N): "So your whole thing is that you can't effect other people a lot, but you give yourself, what, a bunch of 'passive buffs'?"

Pride: "Don't dodge the question. Tell me."

(Y/N): "Ok, my whole specialty, is nothing. I am nothing."

          Pride frowned for a moment.

Pride: "But, that can't be it. If you are a Diamond, then you have to have something. Ok then, how did you come to be? Part Diamond, Part Human. You said you were a product of war?"

(Y/N): "Yes, and no. I was born this way. But my gem is not mine."

Pride: "So you can bypass my effect huh?"

(Y/n): "I don't know, let's test it. I am a banana and I hail from the planet mercury."

          Pride's face changed to confusion, bafflement, and anger. They stood for a moment trying to collect the many thoughts I surely scattered. 

Pride: "But how?"

(Y/N): "Ok, in the shortest story I can sum up. I don't know. There is possibly this and that. But technically, my own origin, is a very sound theory, that has a lot of evidence that could just be a bunch of coincidences. But that doesn't matter. If it is all true, then it all started and settled about ten thousand years ago."

Pride: "Ok fine. Then tell me your abilities."

(Y/N): "Mmmm, no. You first, then I'll think about it."

Pride: "And why should I?"

(Y/N): "Because, according to our fight in the colosseum. I can easily obliterate you."

          Pride sat there with a slight smirk till they blinked and started to think. Realizing that there lie detection didn't go off.

Pride: "Interesting how you can think that to be true. But I was holding back during that fight."

(Y/N): "So was I."

|Haunting Voice|: "Stop talking. Leave now, you already gave them too much."

           Pride glared at me. Wings started to grow from their back as they grew larger, their skin becoming grey.

Pride: "Then how about a full out fight. Cause I doubt you could defeat me."

          I let my aura come out, consuming the room. Everything faded to black. Pride looked at me, scoffing. Their left eye turned orange.

Pride: "You may have your own tricks, but you aren't the only one who can grow exponentially. And we have been in this game for much longer than you."

(Y/N): "What's your base? Cause I think mine's higher."

|Haunting Voice|: "You're going to regret this."

          As Pride and I were staring each other down, ready to face off, the door from the back opened again as Envy came in.

Envy: "Pride, I think something's wrong, the whole... Oh. Hello there."

          Pride relaxed and turned back to Envy before taking a breath of relief and going back to their 'normal' form. I retracted my aura, brightening the room.

Pride: "Yes, Gluttony and I have just been having a little chat before getting to the whole, being apart of the group thing. Because that, is not up for debate."

(Y/N): "We'll see about that."

          Pride and Envy started to exit the room as Pride beckoned me to follow.

|Haunting Voice|: "If you think you can keep me caged so I can sit by this, you are wrong."

          Envy turned around and look at me.

Pride: "Yes, he has been quite talkative lately. Isn't that right?"

(Y/N): "Just a nuisance, don't mind him."

Pride: "Sure, cause it's just that easy."

          As we went through the palace, going to what I believe is the main lobby, I took in the lavish scenery.

(Y/N): "You guys are really leaning into the whole dark ages king vibe huh?"

Envy: "Well, it's fun. I mean, who wouldn't want to live like this?"

          I shrug. Pride opens a door and steps in, Envy follows, and finally I enter. As I do, I feel a fist connect with my face, launching me into the side wall. I feel a bruise forming on my face. I slowly stood up as everyone looked at me. All the sins were standing in the room, having fun. Envy and Pride seemed to have the most confusion on their face, while Lust seemed to have started scheming.

Wrath: ".....That was different. Have you gotten weaker?"

(Y/N): "Trust me when I say, you are mistaken. Quite the opposite actually."

|Haunting Voice|: "..........."

Pride: "For everyone's information, they are telling the truth."

Wrath: "So you take more damage when you are stronger? What kind of backwards head do you have?"

           I shake my head.

(Y/N): "So why did you bring me here?"

Pride: "Let's call it bonding. The more we hang out the more I want to crush your head in, but you are sin, and for now, we need to see what that means. And if we are going to be spending eternity on this earth together. Then we need to get used to that. I mean, you are quite durable, and your feats do sound, exaggerated. I mean, how many of us has taken a bullet to the head?"

          Wrath and Pride raised their arms and everyone else straightened up.

(Y/N): "That's enough about me, if this is bonding, then what about everyone else?"

Pride: "You know, that's a good question, you know, I think we should get the hard part out of the way. Lust, come on and step up, let the two of you start bonding first. You have been acting detached from everyone ever since Gluttony changed hosts, so how about you two talk things out?"

Lust: "If I am not allowed to kill them, then I am not interested."

(Y/N): "No thanks. I think crazy over there isn't gonna be cuddling up to me anytime this millennia."

Wrath: "Pride, I forgot to ask, did Gluttony tell you anything more about the whole Diamond thing?"

Pride: "Well, they apparently don't have a specialty?"

Envy: "Wait, they said that?"

Pride: "How is that surprising Envy, didn't you already know? Isn't that why your lips have been so sealed?"

Envy: "No, they definitely do have a specialty."

          Pride looked at him, than back at me.

Pride: "How could you both be telling the truth?"

Envy: "Can they bypass your detector?"

Pride: "No, we already cleared that up. Okay fine. Tell me again, what is your Diamond specialty?"

(Y/N): "My specialty is nothing. As I said before, I am nothing."

Pride: "But according to Envy that's not true! What-"

Envy: "No, Pride, you're misunderstanding. The tricky bastard is using word play. They just admitted their specialty to you."

Pride: "What?"

Envy: "They are nothing. Their aura is endless. It has something to do with a void. So, if you look at it right, then they are in fact nothing."

          Pride looked at me.

Pride: "So you were just fucking with me?"

(Y/N): "Yes. I mean, to be fair without context it makes sense you didn't get it. Especially since you didn't have any reason to look more into my words."

          I shrug as Pride clenches their fist.

Lust: "Now who's getting hostile."

Pride: "Not now Lust!"

          They snapped and turned to me. Glaring intently, as though they were trying to see if I had any more secrets I had blatantly shown them.

Pride: "Envy, what are their abilities?"

Envy: "That's too much to list right there."

(Y/N): "I think you actually have no clue what your talking about. I mean all this time, and you don't lay down everything I have? Either you are the worst teammate possible, or you are still trying to wrap your head around me."

Envy: "Yeah ok you got me."

Pride: "But you took their abilities?"

Envy: "And I couldn't use them."

          Pride snarled until they started to cackle. They looked at me, their left eye turning green.

Envy: "Oh no."

          Everyone started to back up. The room got darker as my aura started to come out of Pride.

Pride: "This feels interesting. Let's see what else you got."

          I watched as they made a fireball, a wall of ice, shot lightning from their fingertips, and then, they disappeared.

|Haunting Voice|: "Oh no. Hello there."

          My eyes widened as I went into my void. Pride was standing there looking around.

Pride: "What is this? Where am I? Who was that?"

(Y/N): "You are going to leave now. Before you get trapped."

          Pride turned to me and laughed.

Pride: "Like you could trap me. I mean, so this is how you disappear?"

(Y/N): "I never said I would trap you. Fun fact, I was once trapped here for decades. I think, I mean no passage of time, and things get real crazy. I wonder what would happen if you suddenly stopped using Envy's power in here. I mean, I know for me it was hard, but my abilities are part of me, I will always be able to escape, given enough time. But you, I mean, I don't know how your power works."

Haunting Voice: "Brother? Is that you?"

          Pride looked up, eyes widening, looking around. I looked around too, not sure of exactly where Gluttony's core was.

Pride: "Brother? Where are you? How are you here?"

Haunting Voice: "I inhabit the soul, we both know that more than anyone."

(Y/N): "Well, you can either go looking for your brother, and probably get trapped here. Or, you can come back to reality with me. Your choice."

          I reappear in the palace again.

Wrath: "Where's Pride? What did you do with them?"

(Y/N): "I have no clue if they are anywhere. Gotta be honest."

          My eyes widened as I heard the sound of a metallic click.

|Haunting Voice(s?)|: "Hahahahhahahahahahahaha!"

          Pride reappeared in the room with a wide smile.

Pride: "Something tells me that if you want to stay you, you will be relying on us from now on."

          Envy and Wrath were staring at me with looks of confusion and concern.

Envy: "Pride what did you do?"

Pride: "I sowed my seed. Oh the soul is quit an interesting thing. But none more like yours, let me tell you. And, like all others, oh so impressionable. So easy to corrupt."
