After a long fall, that separated The Crystal Gems and the other Gem group into A large tunnel system. Steven had been knocked out by some of the floor that had fallen apart and at the moment he is about to wake up.

Steven stirs and groans a little as he opens his eyes, he finds that he is surrounded by some rubble, while also being encased in his bubble shield. He gets up, deactivates his Bubble Shield, stretch's his arms out and proceeds to look around.

The walls in the room he was in, are coated in Home-World hieroglyphs and right above them are a lot of depictions of what seem to be The Gem War on earth. Steven didn't understand any of it, at the moment he was more concerned about the others and where they are at the moment. He looks away from the wall to see there were two ways out of the room. He was about to go down the left one when he see's a small little glimmer under some rocks.

He walks over to check it out and as he clears the rocks, he finds what looks like Chrysoberyl's gem, except that it is Silver and about the size of a quarter. It starts to glow yellow, Steven flinch's and close's his eyes out of fear of this giant. When the Gem stops glowing, someone utters:

"Query: Is there a problem?"

Steven opens his eyes to see nothing at first, then the someone says another thing:

"Suggestion: Look down."

As he looks down, he see's what is most likely the smallest Gem ever.

The Gem in question come's up to about his chin and has yellow skin. It has a helm of sorts that looks like the one that Chrysoberyl had, but is less armored looking, it is sliver and has two glowing dots that resemble eyes, a pair of gloves and boot's that are also grey, they both have circuit board patterns that go to up to the bottom part of its thigh and it's forearm and some angler shoulder pads that also have the circuit pattern, these shoulder pads are part of a grey leotard that a some of the upper torso and some of the lower. The Gem placement is little peculiar as it seems to have of taken the place of its mouth.

"Uh, Hello." Speaks a rather confused Steven.

"Question: Are you confused?" Asked The Gem as her gem flashed yellow each time she spoke.

"Yes, who are you?"

"Answer: I am Q."

"Q?"

"Information: Q stands for Cubanite, the being you thought I was, is a Fusion."

"Oh, okay." Understood Steven as Q tilts her head in confusion and asks:

"Quizzical query: You are Familiar with Fusion?"

"Yeah, here look."

Steven then unzips his jacket and lifts his shirt to show Q his gem, Q glares at it for a moment then went:

"Unknown: ERROR!"

"Um, yeah, it's kind of a long story." Says Steven as he zips up his jacket, as he does, Q walks behind him.

Q Looks around quickly, while also moving around the room they are in, picks up something without Steven seeing what it is and finally looks at the two tunnels before her and Steven.

"Inquiry: which one were you about to go through?" Asks Q.

"The left one." Replies Steven

"Correction: Notice the Yellow brim around the door."

"yeah, what about it."

"Statement: Danger, may lead the same way, but danger, Blue is the right path."

"Okay."

Q was about to head off when Steven asks:

"Actually, before we go could you tell me what's on the wall?"

"Question: why?" Asks Q.

"just curious."

The Gem Took a glimpse at the wall, then back at Steven.

"Information: nothing of interest, just one of the many Accountings of one of the many battles of the burning plains."

She then gestures Steven to follow her down the blue brimmed door.

"Query: Seeing as there is most likely a distance to walk, mind going into detail about your lengthy story?"

"Only if you tell me about the other Gem you were Fused with."

"Proposition: fair enough, and it's just not one, there are three of us who fuse, the other two are."

Meanwhile in another part of the tunnel system.

Perl, finally, after some struggling breaks some rocks that were atop her.

Oh my, such wonderful depictions. 

She thought to herself as she found it rather Fascinating that there were walls upon walls depicting some of the earlier days during the Gem war in such fine condition, oh if only Steven were here to see more of his history, she thought more to herself while also coming to her sense's and realizes that the others might be in peril. she was about to speed off, but then notices a pair of red squat legs wiggling about as there is someone stuck in a hole.

"Ruby, is that you? Garnet must have been poofed on the way down." Alleges Perl.

She rush's over to the legs grabs a hold of them and pulls on them hard, trying to get who she thought was their Ruby. But the moment she pulled the Ruby out of the hole, who goes flying and lands face down, Perl knew this was not their ruby.

This was due to the overly obvious fact that this Ruby had Yellow swirls in her hair.

"Wait, who are-" said Perl as the ruby got up, she see's this Ruby Looks like any other ruby, beyond the yellow swirls that is, the only other differences are her shorts, that are poufier and a sash, that goes around her waist. Her face's expression was something to note as well it looked.... Very deadpan.

The Ruby jumps into the air, summons her gauntlet and prep's to slam Perl into the ground.

Perl jumps out of the way in time, as the Ruby lands, she makes a small crater. Perl proceeds to kick the Ruby right into the walls.

The Ruby, still with the Very uninterested expression, gets herself out of the wall, see's a near by rock and punch's the towards Perl. Perl kicks the rock and returns the rock back to sender. The Ruby smash's the rock with Her gauntlet. But Perl tackles her, as a dust cloud had formed when the rock was smashed and Perl had charged through it.

They proceed to tumble around for a bit. Entail the Ruby was on top of Perl and saw something that made her stop for a second, she hops off Perl, who was now confused by the Gem as she got up.

The Ruby is looking down at what is unknown, while also putting her gauntlet away. Perl doesn't have a good view. The Ruby bends down to pick up whatever she was looking at, then turns around to see Perl charging at her with her harpoon drawn and is about to put a lot of holes in her, the Ruby then puts out her arm, all this and she still had the same expression of boredom.

Perl stopped in her tracks, as she was completely baffled at how this Gem was acting.

"Sorry." Speaks the Ruby in a rather monotone voice.

"What, you try to smash me into the ground like a nail and now you want to act like it never happened." States an understandably mad Perl.

"Yeah." Replies the Ruby calmly.

"Alright, would you mind explaining?"

The Ruby shrugs.

Perl Falls on her back at the outrageous claim of this gem.

The Ruby then walks over to Perl and offers to pull her up, Perl groans but takes the offer.

"Okay, maybe there's more to it, then am willing to go into detail about." Said the Ruby.

"Well, your going to need to go into detail if you-" Perl is interrupted by some rumbling that just came out of nowhere.

"This normal on this planet." Asks the Ruby.

"No, no it's not." Replies Perl as a large creature emerges from the ground. It looks like a Green and purple mole, but with very large quails sticking out it's back.

It's moving its head back and forth looking for something in the area.

"I don't think it can see, stand still and I think it will go away." Whispers Perl.

"What about smell?" whispers the Ruby.

"Smell?"

Just as Perl spoke The Mole starts to sniff. After the third sniff, it points its head in their direction and growls.

"Run." Shouts Perl.

With The Mole on to them, both Gems run towards the exit out of the room, which is on a highly elevated ledge, Perl jumps on to the ledge while the Ruby literally runs up it. she get's up to the top of the ledge, she is slightly out of breath and Perl is staring at the Ruby.

"what." questions the Ruby as a quick shake happens.

Perl and the Ruby look over the ledge to see that the mole had run its head against ledge, as it rubs its head with its right set of claws, it taps the wall that is in its way and hears a clunk of stone, it dives under underground to find another way to it's next meal.

"Alright, looks like we will be working together." Said Perl as the Ruby just shrugs and starts to walk.

"So am guessing you and another gem formed that fusion I fought?" Assumes Perl as they walk down the long hall way ahead of

"Close and by the way you can call me Rue, there are three us, Me, A Cubanite and a."

Meanwhile in another part of the temple.

Amethyst, some how: got knocked out. She stirs a little, then opens her eyes to see someone's head floating above her.

"About time, young one." Supposes the unknown person.

Amethyst Jumps back against a wall at the sight of the Aperient green gem.

The green Gem is taller then Amethyst, around Perl's height, but has a medium build, Dark green skin with some pale green swirls. Has a broad nose, pale green swirling across her left eye, said eye is the same shade of green as the swirling, the other was the same shade of dark green as her skin. Her hair is the same shade as her skin swirls and the length of it reaches the top of her hips, it also flared out at the bottom, with her bangs and the tips in an olive green colour. Her arms have a pair of wristlets and arm bands in a winter green with some swirling right above the right arm, her torso has a corset brimmed in the afore mention winter green, the main colour is an almost white green, her gem is right under where the corset ends and it's oval shaped, the same tinge as the skin and has the same swirling as her skin has. There is swirling going across her belly, it's barely visible as most of it is covered by the corset, the part that isn't is the bottom bit. A skirt colored in the same almost white green that is on her corset and a pair of shorts in the same shade that is on the are arm bands and wristlets, they go to her knees cover the top part of her legs, the lower legs and feet are covered in a couple boots in the almost white green.

"Who Are You?" asks Amethyst as she was disgruntled at the sight of the other gem.

"Seaweed Quarts, but you may call me Cee, are you not familiar Gem types young one." Replies Cee as she got closer to Amethyst.

"Yeah." Said Amethyst as she frowns and takes out her whip.

"Not the wisest move, young one." States Cee as she to drew her weapon out, it being a bo staff.

"Don't care and don't know why you do." Supposed Amethyst as she striked first, swinging her whip at a downward angle.

Cee dodges the whip, then entangles the whip in her bo staff and pulls it to the left, Swinging Amethyst into a nearby wall slamming her against it.

Amethyst gets up and charges at Cee, who rolls her eyes and just Whacks the top of her head, stopping her in her tracks and falls on to her back.

Cee puts her weapon away and walks over to Amethyst.

"You have much to learn, young one." Said Cee as she offers her hand to Amethyst.

Amethyst frowns, but begrudgingly takes her hand and gets up.

"Okay, now what oh wise one." Asks Amethyst as she gestures her hands.

"Well, now, we walk and talk." Replies Cee as she pointed towards the tunnel.

Seeing as she had no choice, Amethyst follows Cee and starts to talk about.

Meanwhile with Steven and Q.

who are still walking while passing several turns and bends. Steven is finishing his life story.

"Calculation: Most impressive." Said Q.

"Yeah and am only 14, Imagine what I'll be doing in the future." Replies Steven.

"Declaration: I am most integrated with what you call a: Violin." Said Q.

"Wait, I didn't mention anything about a Violin." States Steven.

"Information: You did not have to, the longer I stay around a Gem or someone like you, the more I know about them and there past."

"So why did I tell you my life's story then?"

"Information: the process is just faster."

"Um, okay, say what else can you do?"

Q was about to do say something as they came upon a cross road, but then a low rumble began. Steven and Q turn around to see humongous crab legs make one of the bends, Steven and Q, quickly hide behind the right turn. Steven peaks over the edge of the turn, to see the utter monster that is this Crab, almost spider-like with its lengthy appendages, also coloured white and maroon.

"I think we can take this thing," whispers Steven as he turns around to Q who replies with:

"Equation: Most unlikely."

"What, yes we can."

"Correction: three factors say other wise, one: you have a shield, not the best offence weapon. Two: I do not have a weapon."

"You don't have one?"

"Re-informing: Well I Do, It's just useless with out other Cubanites, as the best I can do is this."

Q then grabs Stevens arm, as a quick little electric zap went through his arm.

"Ow." Went Steven

"Finishing statement: Third and finally: the space in here is not the best for fighting." Said Q.

"Alright, then what should we do." Said Steven as they heard the Crab move in their general direction.

"Suggestion: Move to the other wall when I say so." Said Q.

Just as Q said that, the crab was making the left turn.

"Action: now." Said Q as she and Steven hops to the other wall.

The Crab then stops and looks to the right and see's nothing, as Steven and Q are well beyond its eye sight, it continues going down The left hall it turned into. Steven and Q proceed to slide across the wall to evade the Crab.

"Do you know what that is?" whispers Steven

"Information: A Corrupted Gem, Duh." Replies Q dryly.

Steven, seeing as this was the best time to remain quiet, he decides to re-frame from asking questions.

Meanwhile with Perl and Rue.

there dodging traps and what not.

"You had to Press the yellow switch." Said Perl as she flips and rolls through Different types of spikey crushers coming from the walls and ceiling.

"Well people are always going on about the red button doing something bad, so I thought pressing the yellow button would do something good." Replied Rue calmly as she punch's and ponds back spikey crushers, with her gauntlet out.

"It wasn't even on a panel; it was with several other round switches on the wall, how did you even find it."

States Perl as she dodges some flame throwers, Rue shrugs which makes Perl groan as she dodges more traps.

"And that Question early was uncalled for." Said Perl as they finally got out of the traps

"Well, it's normal to ask who pearls belong to, back on home world." Replies Rue as she flung a spike trap back, also getting out of the traps.

"Well that's fair, I guess." Said Pearl remembering Peridot.

"But considering the fact that your part of a Fusion most of the time, I would have thought you would have some understanding that not everything what Home-world say's is right." States Perl as she looks at Rue as she ruffles her hair and said

"Sorry, what, I wasn't listening."

"GAAAAAAA, What Is Wrong With You!?" Yells Perl as she grabs and pulls her hair while whipping her head back at how dense this Ruby was.

"Am defective." Said Rue

"What?" Replies Perl now confused as she looks back at Rue, now standing cross to Perl and still clam as ever.

"Am Defective, marked, after one day of service for smashing." Said Rue as she points towards her hair swirls.

"Oh...I...uh..." went Perl as Rue starts to walk again, without Perl, Perl followed quietly.

Meanwhile with Amethyst and Cee.

Cee at the moment is prodding Amethyst with questions.

"Fascinating." Said Cee as she continues to walk.

"What, It's just my daily life." Replies Amethyst as she picks her nose.

"To you maybe, but to me, it is fascinating to see what a jumbled up Amethyst thinks she should be like." Alleged Cee as she dodges Amethyst as she attempts to throttle Cee, but ends up ramming her face into a wall, then slides down the wall.

Cee chuckles a little but stops when she see's Amethyst Gem has gotten a crack. Amethyst was about to say something but is shushed by Cee who has place's herself over Amethyst and had placed her finger on Amethysts lips.

She snaps her fingers and a crystal appears. It floats over to Amethyst's gem, opens up it's four aperient limbs that were made up out of the bottom half of the crystal. It proceeds to land on Amethyst's chest and move towards her gem, it stops atop the gem and sprays it with a light teal liquid. It then hops back to the air and hover around Cee's head, then disappears. The light teal liquid hardened and shatters, it seems to have fixed Amethysts Gem.

Cee then Helps Amethyst up, who says:

"OK, thanks for that, but what gives you any right to judge me."

"My last job." Replies Cee with a hint of confidence.

"That being?"

"Teaching Gems."

"What? Why? What do Gems need to learn?"

"Purpose, Gems need purpose, thus a Gem such as I, I taught them who they are and what they will need to do, to server their part in the Home world matriarchy."

"So what, you've seen a lot of Amethysts."

"About 373,651, to be a bit more Precise."

"Wait, you know exactly how many gems you have taught?"

"Yes."

Amethyst then grows a devilish smile.

"Peridots."

"430,961."

"Jaspers."

"649,588."

"Rubies."

"856,754."

"Perl's."

"230,523"

"Garnets."

This made Cee pause for a moment then:

"I don't believe am familiar with that Gem type, beyond that one that was with you, and before you go on chuckling I know you're playing me, am just taking some time to teach you commonalty of some Gems."

Said Cee as she made Amethyst frown.

"Okay, look, I know what am suppose to look like, Alright." States Amethyst.

"But do you know what you're supposed to act like."

"(Groan.) Oh, do regale, Sherlock."

"What's a Sherlock?"

"Not the point."

"Well then, your comment is meaningless to me then."

"(Aggravated mumbling.)."

"But I see what your saying, most Amethysts are soldiers at heart, unlike Rubies, who are very hard headed and have limited reach, Amethysts take orders, complete their tasks with maximum effectiveness, work well with most gems and... well, basically everything you're not."

States Cee as she then dodges Another attempt of Amethyst to throttle Cee, this time, Cee round house kicks Amethyst, who goes flying forward and lands on her back. She gets up and yells:

"What's Wrong with Me!?"

"Where would you like me to start?" Replied Cee.

Amethyst, seeing as it was ether this or getting her rump handed to her again. She took a deep breath in

"(Deep Inhale.)" then breathed outward.

"(Deep exhale.)" she then let Cee take the lead and she followed.

Meanwhile with Steven and Q.

They had managed to get a safe distance away from the crab creature and had started to talking again while moving forward, Q mainly asking about music.

"Inquiry: So you're a Savant." Stated Q.

"A what?" asked Steven.

"Information: A Savant,
