"So, where are we going?" I asked Sapphire.
"You'll see in a bit," Sapphire teased.
"Oof!" I shouted, banging into something hard and wooden.
"Whoops! Sorry!" Sapphire apologized.
"What was that?" I asked, rubbing my head.
"A tree," She giggled.
"I feel like you did that on purpose," I said, tapping my foot.
"Maybe," I heard her giggle.
"Can I take this blindfold off yet?" I asked her.
"Not yet... okay, now," She said. I took off the blindfold to see a familiar forest.
"Remember this?" She asked me. I smiled.
"The forest underneath the place we met," I said, facing her.

"The stars are so beautiful," I said, looking at the clear night sky.
"Yes, it is, isn't it?" She agreed.
"I'm gonna go get some more firewood," I said.
"Alright," She smiled. I got up and headed deeper into the woods. I was ready to give Sapphire her anniversary present. I took out a black fuzzy case out of my back pocket and opened it gently. Inside was a necklace with a flower chain that holds a blue heart. I looked back at Sapphire who was laying peacefully beside the campfire. I closed the box and put it back in my back pocket.
"Alright, firewood, firewood, firewood... where are you, firewood?" I mumbled.
"Ah, found some," I said, looking at an old dry log. I bent down to pick it up when I felt a sharp sting in my neck. I grabbed something from my neck. It was some sort of dart. I looked around to see where it came from.
"S-Sapphi-Sapphire...?" I asked drowsily as I collapsed.

My vision was blurry as I started to wake up. I was being dragged. Looking around, I saw I was in some sort of room. Sort of like a weird hub. The person dragging me stopped moving and dropped my legs onto the ground as I groaned. I felt like I had bruises everywhere.
"Hngh..." I tried to speak.
"Look who's finally awake," An unfamiliar voice chuckled.
"Where's S-" I was cut off.
"Oh, Ruby... she's not anywhere near you. You'll never see her again," I heard someone laugh. She put something around my neck. It was sort of like a shock collar, but when you turn it on, it shoots small destabilizer bolts.
"Wh-why not? What have you done to her?" I asked wearily. She giggled.
"Because when I'm done, you won't want to see her. You won't even remember her. Nor the rest of your team," She laughed menacingly.

"RUBY!" Someone shouted. I jolted up.
"WHA!?" I shouted. I was immediately enveloped in a hug.
"Are you okay? What happened?" The person asked me.
"I-I think so," I said, holding my head. I looked up. We were home again.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" She asked. I got up and backed away.
"No, you're not real," I shoved her back as she kept coming closer. She grinned.
"It's me, Ruby," She said.
"NO!" I shouted. I summoned my gauntlet and aimed it at her. It went through her body! It was like a hologram without mass. I started to try and run out the door, but when I opened it, that was also a hologram programmed to look like you'd walk outside when you actually walk into a wall. I backed myself into the wall and pounded on the force-field with my gauntlet.
"Not again," I mumbled. I questioned myself about if the Crystal Gems in that weird room were real as "Sapphire" advanced slowly.
"WHEN WILL THIS NIGHTMARE END!" I shouted.

As "Sapphire" was inches in front of me, I looked over at the possibly fake Amethyst. She was behind the counter, videotaping everything. Probably to monitor me in case the cameras on the walls were tampered with. I ran over towards her and punched her camera out of her hand and punched her. I don't get it. It went through her too, yet, the camera had mass and she could hold it... I punched her gem and the hologram went away. I smirked. I found their weakness. I did the same with every Crystal-Phoney.

"Hahaha. Not so tough now, huh?!" I mocked. Then a hooded gem-like figure approached me from behind. I kicked her in the stomach without turning around. I swung myself around and disarmed her.
"A needle? What were you planning to do to me!" I shouted.
"J-just knock you out! I swear!"
"Well, I'm about to knock YOU out!" I shouted. I grabbed the needle and jabbed it into her skin. I could see yellow sparks of destabilizer bolts shooting through her body. I bet it was programmed to knock the gem out for a few minutes after it reforms.

It had been around four hours of me punching the walls of the fake interior of Steven's house. Either that or I had already gone insane. I realized I could try the gem door. I held out my gem and the room started to glow and open. It opened to a place that definitely wasn't my room. I looked around and all I could see was a keypad. It had a few faded out numbers on there. Possibly from typing the numbers so many times. I pressed those numbers in all different orders and finally got the passcode right. A door inside the room appeared and opened for me.
"What is going on?" I asked. First I was in one room with the Crystal... Crystal... what's our team name...? Whatever. Crystal 'something'. Then I was dreaming. Then I woke up here! I walked into the mysterious door.
"RUBY!" The real... at least, I hope is real, Sapphire shouted.
