I slowly turned my head towards the speedy person who was holding my shoulder. Behind them were the Crystal Gems, my gang, and guards who were trying to keep everyone out of the rooms. Other than my gang. They were all elite gems who were in the hierarchy. The only reason a Ruby like me is an elite is because I control all the Rubies (Just to clarify).

As I turned around, I looked in horror as Sapphire's icy cold eyes stared straight into my soul.
"H-hey, Sapphire..." I said nervously. My palms were warm and sweaty. There was unusually dark shading just beneath her bangs. As tension grew between us, I saw Aqua sneaking up behind Sapphire. I knew Sapphire knew this was happening. She has future vision. I know that Aqua's going to end up accidentally missing Sapphire and hitting me, but I deserve it, don't I? As Aqua turned on her destabilizer, I braced myself for impact as Sapphire moved out of the way, just as Aqua charged full force at her. I took a deep breath and smirked. It seemed as if time stopped as I pondered wether or not to move out of the way. Part of me wanted to move, but the other part felt like I didn't deserve to move. I didn't know which to do.
