~~~Steve's P.o.V.~~~
I could see only darkness... I couldn't feel anything... I couldn't even feel my body.
Then, I felt something hard on my back.
I must be lying on a floor.
I felt my eyelids grow lighter.
I opened them.
I gasped, as I saw the surroundings...
Trees tall and proud... Birds chirping happily across the blue sky... The neighborhood very neat and modern.
What really made me gasp was that the surroundings were...
Blocky, full of beautiful pixels...
Minecraft...
I stood up, and jumped in joy.
Just when I tripped over something.
"Oof!"
"Awwghh!"
I stood up, and winced when I saw the 'something' I just tripped over to:
Herobrine.
He was curled up, gritting his teeth, his arms on his belly.
I could hear him cry in pain.
I hugged him tightly, and shook him awake.
"Hunny.... Hey, Herobrine, wake up!", I whispered loudly.
I heared him groan painfully. He opened his white eyes.
"H-Hon... Be careful...", he cried, sitting up.
"I'm so sorry, Hunny...", I apologized.
"It's okay, Hon...", he smiled.
He looked around, and saw that everything was pixelly and back-to-normal. He gasped, and sat up.
"Are we back in Minecraft?", he excitedly asked.
"I think so...", I smiled.
He smiled, and hugged me.
"We're back!", he squealed.
We were roaming around the strange streets, along this very modernized village. Then, we saw an abandoned house.
"Maybe, we should come inside...", I suggested.
"Okay then...", he smiled, and we strode inside.
===Inside the House===
As I opened the door, I saw that everything was nice, clean...
"Wow, what a nice home... Why is it abandoned?", I heared Herobrine ask.
"I dunno. If I was the owner of this nice house, I would keep it all by myself...", I smiled, looking around.
My eyes fell on my wife, who was frowning, his arms across his chest.
"Wow, just for yourself?", he sneered, raising his eyebrow.
I chuckled, hugging him. I know what he means.
"Of course with you and Ina!", I smiled.
"Oh, I thought you'll just own this as just yours...", he laughed, hugging my waist.
I squeezed him tighter.
"I love you, Hunny...", I mumbled.
"I love you too, Hon...", he whispered, looking up at me with his beady, white eyes, a smile underneath his thin beard.
I poked his nose.
"You're so cute, my sweet, Little Demon...", I chuckled, as I twiddled my finger around the tip of his nose.
"Heey!", he laughed, holding my left hand, which houses the finger I am using to play with his smooth nose.
"Stop it!", he groaned, as he pushed the hand away.
"Hahaha! You're just so cute...", I smiled.
"Why, aren't you cute?", he sneered, pinching my left cheek, and shaking it.
"Oww!", I groaned, holding the hand that was pinching me.
He let go, laughing.
We roamed around the house. I marvelled at the beauty of the place.
The living room had a red sofa, with a small lampshade lighting the area with a yellowish glow. There were green carpets on the floor, the uncarpeted ones revealing a quartz floor. There were cupboards on the wall, full of glasswares and fragile stuff. There were also picture frames hanging on the wall. The open window beside the sofa let sunlight in. There was a staircase beside the door.
Beside this room was the kitchen. The countertop was very nice, sparkly and neat. There was the sink, and beside it was a furnace, and a smoker. There was a cauldron full of water beside the sink, situated on the floor. Below the sink was another cupboard. The floor had a red carpet. Of course, on the sink, there was a faucet.
We went back to the living room, and went upstairs.
There was a single bedroom in there, with a dark oak door. We went inside.
The room had a white bed, and beside this was a desk. The floor was covered with nice, red carpet. The walls were made of dark oak planks and quartz blocks.On the desk was a small lampshade, with a note beside it.
"What's with the note?", I heared Herobrine ask, as I sat down on the soft bed.
I turned to him, amd saw that he was holding the note in his hands. I strode over to him.
"Let's open it!", I whispered.
"But what if it wasn't meant for us? This house wasn't ours anyway, I mean...", he said, looking at the note thoughtfully.
I sighed.
"What if it was meant for us?", I insisted.
He gave me a glare.
"Okay, fine... We will open the note...", he gave up, as he opened the note.
I peered inside, and we red the note.
It reads:
Dear new employee/s:
This will be your first day of the job, as a night watchman. Later, 11:30 P.M., you must be in the workplace. It will be shown on your map.
Truly yours,
Management
I looked at Herobrine. On his left hand was a small map. He opened it.
The layout showed the whole of the village. On the bottom left hand side was a house labeled 'Your House'. There was a line tracing on the roads.
The line ends on a huge building, labeled 'Cake Family'.
"So, that will be our workplace?", I asked.
"Maybe...", he mumbled.
Then, I noticed something strange...
"Um, Herobrine? Did you hang those clothes over there?", I asked him, pointing at the cabinet behind him.
He turned around.
There were two uniforms. Both had light blue long sleeves, and black pants. There were also a pair of hats.
"Don't tell me, we will be nightguards again...", I mumbled, staring at the uniforms.
"Look, there's a note...", my wife said, as he ran to one of them, and pulled out a note on the breastpocket of the long sleeve.
He opened it, and we red it.
Dear new employee/s:
This will be your uniforms for the whole week. Please take care of them and don't rip them. These were the last pair of uniforms available.
Truly Yours,
Management.
"That's funny... A resto with just a pair of nightguard uniforms?", I laughed.
"Silly...", I heared Herobrine laugh.
I looked at the clock:
12:59 P.M.
"I will cook food for us, and we will sleep... We had a nightguard job to kick off!", Herobrine said, as he teleported downstairs.
"Okay then...", I smiled.
