Y/N. I'm sorry. Please come back. I miss you so much.

Alarm ringing

I wake up, the same dream haunting me. I hope one day I'll see her for real, not just in my dreams. I go through my morning routine and prepare for the day ahead.

Here's how I look:

I just took my car and went to my company without eating my breakfast because I have no appetite now.

Once I arrive at the company, my presence brings silence; my cold demeanor has intensified since she left. I head to my cabin.

As I start working, my phone rings. It's a call from Jungkook.

On call~

Kook: Tae, how are you?

Me: Fine. Why did you call? Spit it out; I have a lot of work to do. (I type on my laptop)

Kook: Chill, bro. I called to give you important information.

Me: Then hurry up.

Kook: We're having our high school reunion. (a moment of silence) She'll be there too.

My work halts as his words sink in.

I stop what I'm doing and listen carefully.

Me: Is that true?

Kook: Yes. So get ready. The event is this Sunday. (he hangs up)

Will she really come to the reunion?

I believe she will.

After a year and a half, I'm going to see her again.

Y/N POV

I'm currently in my office, engrossed in work. These days have been quite dull without Eunwoo around; he's on a business trip to Korea. My phone rings, and I check the caller ID—it's an unknown number.

On call

Y/N: Hello, who's this?

...: Hey Y/N, it's Rose. How are you?

Y/N: Rose! I'm fine. How about you? Sorry, I lost the numbers of our friends, so I couldn't tell when you called.

Rose: No worries. I'm good. Guess what? We have our high school reunion this Sunday.

Y/N: Really?

Rose: Yep. Are you coming?

Y/N: I'll try, Rose. My schedule's quite packed.

Rose: What? Are you working now? Where are you working?

Y/N: Kang Enterprises.

Rose: Kang Enterprises?!

Y/N: Yes, and why are you yelling?

Rose: How did you get a job there? They're not known for easily hiring people.

Y/N: Rose, you know my father was a CEO, right?

Rose: Yeah. Wait, was your father the CEO of Kang Enterprises?

Y/N: Yeah, and what's my full name?

Rose: Kang Y/N. Hold on, that means you're the CEO now?

Y/N: Yes, my brilliant friend.

Rose: HEY, MY BESTIE IS THE CEO OF THE WORLD'S TOP COMPANY! (she shouts)

Y/N: WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING IN MY EAR?

Rose: Oops, sorry. I got excited. Anyway, try to make it to the reunion. I'll text you the address. Okay?

Y/N: I'll do my best. (hangs up)

Should I go?

I call my secretary, and she arrives after knocking.

Secretary: Ma'am, do you need anything?

Y/N: Yes. Cancel all the meetings for the next 5 days. (she bows and leaves)

I haven't seen them in so long.

Wait, he'll be there too, right?

How will I face him?

Well, I don't love him, so why should I worry?

Will I fall in love with him again?

At my house

Y/N: Dad, I'm going to Korea for my school reunion.

Dad: Oh, you can go and stay there for a while, working as the CEO from there. We need to oversee our branches. I'll manage things here.

Mom: Your dad's right, dear. Manage our company like you did here. We'll visit you soon. (smiles) Y/N: Alright, mom. I'll pack my things and head to the airport.
