Pietro froze, not sure if he just actually heard her voice or if he was going insane. He then turned on his heel to be met with the girl he had fallen for.

"I'm alive." Ana said causally as she shrugged. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

"I wouldn't dream of getting rid of you." Pietro finally found his voice. The two were standing a few feet apart and with one step the speedster closed the gap, pulling her in for the tightest hug she had ever gotten.

"I'm gonna head back to the kitchen. Do not forget to call Clint." Steve orders as he leaves the room.

"It's so good to see you." Ana says before pulling Wanda into a hug.

"Thank god you are here." Wanda whispers in her ear, and Ana had a feeling she was talking about Pietro being a wreck.

"How are you here?" Pietro asks, grabbing Ana's shoulders and holding her out so he could look at her. Ana could hear the broken emotion in his voice and see the tears in his eyes.

"Well, when a mommy and a daddy love each other very much-"

"No, I mean- you, you are dead." Pietro says after letting out a breathy chuckle.

"What, want me to say I'm a ghost?" Ana jokes, barely realizing that while they were talking, Ana and Pietro kept taking steps towards each other.

"You two can kiss if you want..." Wanda trailed off as the two turned to look at her. "And I'll leave the room." Wanda closed the door behind her and Pietro wasted no time in cupping Ana's cheeks in his hands and pulling her close to his face. For a moment, the two just scanned the others features.

"This is just like the first time we kissed, but you know, with less dying." Ana joked, completely aware of how close she was to the speedster.

"Less dying is good." Pietro responded, his breath brushing Ana's face. The girl placed a kiss on his nose before back up towards the door, a smirk plastered on her face. "What was that?"

"I'm home and excited to see my friends!" Ana yells before she ran out the door and back to the kitchen where everyone still was, jumping into Steve's arms for another hug. Shortly after Pietro jogs into the room at a normal pace.

"Are you going to give me a real kiss?" The speedster questioned, a playful smirk on his face as he looked at the younger Stark.

"Anyone else wondering how I beat the actual Roadrunner in here?" Ana said as she hugged Wanda again.

"They only let him out of the hospital so soon if he promised not to speed around." Wanda explained, this new information causing Ana to stick her tongue out at the older Maximoff.

"Come here." Ana said before placing a hand on the back of his neck and making his lips meet hers.

"Come on, Banana! You said you wouldn't make out with him in front of me!" Tony yelled and Ana couldn't control the laugh that bubbled out of her, pulling her brother in for another hug. Ana's eyes went wide as she grabbed Tony's phone from him.

"Tony, what now-" Clint picked up after a few rings.

"Clint, it's me."

"Ana?" Clint's voice spoke quietly. "Damn it Ana, I knew you didn't die." Ana could faintly hear Laura on the other line scolding her husband for swearing in front of the kids.

"Is that why I showed up and was told I was a godmother?" Ana teased, letting Pietro grab her hand and place a soft kiss on each of her knuckles.

"Ah man, you're gonna love him." Clint says, excitement clear in his voice. "How's uh- do you have any injuries?"

"Ah, not really. Pretty bruised up, but you know, I'd say that's normal after falling thousands of feet." Ana says, casting a glance at everyone's worried looks. "Hey buddy, I'll talk to you later. I think I have some explaining to do."

"What? You're not flying in to see me tonight?" Clint says and Ana feels her chest tighten.

"I don't think I'm ever going to want to fly, like ever again. But can I come up tomorrow?"

"Of course kid. Hey, bring your swords and we can practice that power move." Ana let out a laugh, nudging Steve with her elbow.

"Steven will be thrilled. But you know what? I'm gonna try not dying for like a month, at least." Ana says, earning the patriot's attention.

"It'll be a new record." Clint teased before letting out a sigh. "Alright, kiddo. See you tomorrow."

"Bye buddy!" Ana yelled before hanging up.

"What am I going to be thrilled about?" Steve asks once Ana gave her brother his phone back.

"Clint said he would shoot at me and I could block them." Ana said, backing away from the man. She almost tripped over her own feet but Pietro caught her. "Thanks bud." She patted his bicep.

"Sounds dangerous." Steve scolded. Ana looked at Natasha expectantly, a large grin on both girls' faces.

"Dangerously cool."

"I knew I loved you for a reason." Ana says before hugging Natasha again.

"You being here is going to change a lot of things. Like, for starters, I'm going to have to put a childproof lock on the wine cabinet." Tony teased as Ana stuck her tongue out at him. "Honestly, Capsicle, why do we let her drink? She's such a child."

"You're a toddler on a sugar high!" Ana quipped, feeling familiar hands placed on her hips from behind her.

"How bad are you bruised?" Pietro asked, bringing everyone away from the Stark siblings bickering.

"Not bad. It's mostly healed... kinda." Ana said as she lifted up the hem of her shirt, carefully moving the speedster's hands off of her. She was right, the bruising had healed for the most part.

"Swordy, you're so damn lucky." Natasha mused, her fingers grazing over Ana's skin.

"Like I told the kids that found me, I'm a damn cockroach, you can't kill me." Ana paused, and looked at Steve, her face void of emotion as she spoke her next words. "And then I apologized for swearing. Save the lectures." Ana couldn't hold it in long before breaking into a fit of giggles.

"You really can't have a serious moment." Sam commented, grabbing Ana's shoulders before pulling her into a hug. "I missed that."

"Yeah, and in about half an hour you'll be warming the jet to take me back to Sokovia." Ana joked, before looking at everyone in the room. She let out a squeal before pulling Rhodey into a hug.

"We aren't taking you back. We had a vote, and we decided that you could stay as long as you paid rent." Tony teased. With a straight face, Ana grabbed her brother's phone and dialed the number she had recently memorized.

"Hey, Gwyneth?" Ana said cheerily, a bright smile on her face.

"Ana? Oh dear, how are you!" Gwyneth's voice chirped right back.

"Great, now that I am off of any and all planes for the time being." Ana said, pausing for the elderly woman's laughter. The younger Stark leaned backwards into Pietro, who in return wrapped his arms around her waist and clasped his hands in front of her stomach. "I just wanted to let you know everything is fine, except that Tony is making me pay rent. I told you he was a jerk!"

"Dear, I already could tell he was full of himself when he put his name on that tower." Ana let out a loud laugh, earning confused looks from everyone. "I was wondering, next Wednesday, do you want to get a nice dinner with me? Maybe you could bring Pietro and I could meet the lucky boy."

"Yes! And we can go to that really fancy Italian restaurant a few blocks from your apartment!" Ana was happy she was making plans with Gwyneth, she was a genuinely nice person. "I'll pay. Er- my brother will pay." Ana smirked at Tony, who in turn rolled his eyes.

"Sounds lovely. I'll meet you at my place at seven?"

"Of course. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go."

"Goodbye dear." Gwyneth said kindly before hanging up.

"Who was that?" Sam was the first to speak up, momentarily smirking at the position she was in with Pietro.

"The nicest old lady I sat with on the plane to the city. I have dinner plans Wednesday now, and you can come." Ana said as she tilted her head as far back as she could to look at the speedster behind her.

"Sure." He absentmindedly said as he smiled down at her. He was afraid this was a dream, that he'd wake up and continue to grieve.

"Ew, oh my god, stop being all couple-y." Tony sassed before pulling his sister out of Pietro's arms and into his for another hug.

"We aren't a couple." Ana denied, pulling away to smile brightly at her friends. A tear cascaded down her cheek before crumpling into an embrace with Sam. Her emotions were everywhere.

"You seem like a couple to me." Rhodey claimed.

"Has anyone told Fury and Maria I'm actually not dead?" Ana ignored her brother's best friend's comment as she racked her head for anyone else with enough importance to know she was alive before having to go to the media.

"I had Friday tell 'em." Tony told his sister. "Banana, they work in this building now."

"I can't believe I'm actually here." Ana sighed in content as she looked at the small, rag tag team of friends around her. Without warning, Wanda was pulled into an embrace.

"I can't believe it either. And just when I thought my luck was starting to get good-"

"Tony?" Ana cut her brother off, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Yes?"

"You were a wreck without me."

"Yeah, maybe you're right."
