Song for the chapter: When I Look at You— Miley Cyrus

Everyone seemed to realize that something was off. The music stopped and worried chatter filled the still air. Bianca heard people approaching them, but she just stared at Cedric's lifeless body.

"MY BOY," she heard Cedric's dad yelling from the stands. Her heart seemed to break a bit more upon hearing that haunting yell. His boy.

"Bianca," Cassie said. She was behind Bianca and trying to pull her away from Cedric. Bianca didn't want to leave him though. She should've never left him when she walked him down here. She had a bad feeling about it and now he was dead.

"He's back," Harry yelled at Dumbledore who was pulling Harry off of Cedric's body. "Voldemort's back."

Chaos broke loose as people began realizing that Cedric was dead. Girls were sobbing, people were saying it repeatedly, and Cassie was still trying to pull Bianca away.

"She's right Bianca," Dumbledore said sternly, looking between Harry and Bianca. "Stay right here guys."

Dumbledore walked away to try to deal with the hysteria. Bianca just kept looking at Cedric's body, her mind going a thousand miles per minute. Cassie was at her side, touching her shoulder comfortingly.

"Let's get you to the hospital wing," Moody's gruff voice said to Harry grabbing him harshly by the shoulder.

"Dumbledore said to stay," Harry argues.

"You need to rest," Moody insists not taking no for an answer. He pulled Harry up, who seemed too shocked to protest. Bianca began walking towards them and Moody's glass eye swiveled around in its socket.

"I'm coming with you," she said. Moody had rubbed her the wrong way all year and she wasn't going to defy her gut feeling again. She knew Harry was in trouble and this time, she was going to do something.

"Very well," Moody said turning to hobble towards the castle. Bianca could've sworn she saw a small smile on his mouth. Bianca began following them up to the castle and Cassie came too. Bianca was grateful to have her twin with her. Even though they barely knew each other, Bianca felt stronger with Cassie close by.

Moody interrogated Harry the entire way to the castle. He wanted to know every last detail of what had happened while Harry was gone. The Triwizard Cup had been a portkey. Harry and Cedric had been transported to where Peter Pettigrew was raising Voldemort. He killed Cedric as soon as they arrived. He used bones from Voldemort's father's grave and Harry's blood to raise Voldemort again. Death Eaters came to welcome their lord and when Voldemort tried to kill Harry, their wands connected and Harry was able to get away.

They had reached Moody's office by the time Harry was done recalling the story. Harry was still in shock, so it was hard to understand, but Bianca was able to piece it together. Moody offered Harry a drink and Harry seemed to recover slightly. Moody kept asking questions though, not letting up.

"Can he rest for a second?" Bianca speaks up but her voice cracks.

"It's okay," Harry breathes nervously. "There's a Death Eater at Hogwart's that did all of this. Put my name in the goblet, made sure I was the one to get to the cup, it was Karkaroff."

Bianca felt nauseous. They had just been talking to Sirius about him a few days ago. Cassie grabbed onto Bianca, who had been swaying and nearly fell.

"You think Karkaroff did this?" Moody sneered. "Karkaroff's a coward. It was me."

The room filled with shocked silence. No one believed the words coming from Moody. He was a highly skilled Auror. There were rumors he was getting crazy in his old age, but there's no way he would support Voldemort.

Moody used his wand to slam the door shut and lock it. He then turned his wand on the three students. Bianca felt paralyzed. She couldn't think straight. Luckily, Cassie was less in shock than the two of them and she pulled out her wand yelling, "Expelliarmus!" Moody was too quick though and had disarmed Cassie first. She let out a scared breath but kept her fierce stance against him.

"You may be a daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange, but you're still no match for me," he sneered. "You two found each other and think you're ready to be all-powerful witches? I don't think so! Bellatrix will be happy when I turn her daughters over to her though. Just like Voldemort will be happy when I bring him Harry Potter's dead body."

"NO!" Bianca screamed finding her voice. She just lost Cedric and she was not going to lose Harry too.

"Quiet little girl," Moody hisses before flicking his wand at her, "Crucio!" Bianca felt an excruciating pain sear through her body. It was like every single nerve was being set on fire. She was screaming and fell to the ground. No pain had ever compared to this, she writhed on the ground trying to fight against the curse. It was no use, her vision went black.

Bianca woke up in the hospital wing. She wasn't sure how much time had passed, but it was still dark outside. She tries to sit up in the bed but her muscles felt like they were on fire. She groans in pain and relaxes back onto the bed.

"She's awake," Bianca hears Cassie say from her bedside. Cassie was sitting in a chair but jumped up when she noticed Bianca was awake. "How do you feel?"

"I'm fine," Bianca says with a slight shrug. It was still weird to have Cassie being sisterly towards her. "What happened?"

Madam Pomfrey hurries over to Bianca's bed to check her vitals and make sure she was doing okay. Since it had been the cruciatus curse, nothing was physically wrong with her. Madam Pomfrey gave her a potion to help relieve the soreness in her muscles and told her to rest in the hospital wing for as long as she wanted.

"Where's Dumbledore?" a voice booms from the other side of the curtain surrounding Bianca's bed. Both the girls perk up at the sound and Cassie goes to pull back the curtain so they can see what's going on.

"He's left to his office and you're disturbing my guests," Madam Pomfrey snaps to Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic. Bianca looked around when she heard that there were other guests. She saw Harry Potter laying a few beds down with Hermione, Ron, and Sirius in his animagus form next to his bed. In between Bianca and Harry's bed, Ginny, the twins, Juniper, and Lee were sitting on a bed, uninjured just waiting. On the other side of the hospital wing, Moody was sleeping in a bed. Chills ran down Bianca's spine when she saw him. That was the man who had put her under two of the three unforgivable curses.

"I demand to speak to him now!" Cornelius practically shouts.

Dumbledore promptly swings the door to the hospital wing open and walks through. McGonagall and Snape had apparently entered the hospital wing at the same time as Fudge and McGonagall was visibly angry.

"I tried telling him," she practically growls. "He thought he needed to bring a dementor with him for protection. The second we got up there, the dementor..."

McGonagall trails off and everyone seems to understand what had happened, but Bianca was still super confused. She turns to Cassie with a questioning look.

"It wasn't Mad-Eye," she says tucking her hair behind her ear nervously. "All year, Barty Crouch Jr. had been taking Polyjuice Potion from that flask he carries. He set the whole thing up so that Harry would end up at the portkey and in the graveyard. He was working for You-Know-Who but the dementors performed the kiss on him tonight."

Bianca feels queasy as she thinks of the dementor's kiss. The adults were still yelling though, so she turned back to listen in on their conversation. They were arguing about Fudge allowing the kiss to happen. Crouch needed to go on trial, but Fudge didn't want to believe that Voldemort was back. Sirius begins growling at Fudge who shoots him a disgusted look.

"I'm sorry, but a scar hurting is not any proof that the darkest wizard of all time has returned," Fudge says with a firm shake of his head.

"There were Death Eaters there too! Avery, Nott, Crabbe, Goyle, Malfoy!" Harry says speaking up.

Bianca paled upon hearing the last name. She knew it was coming, but it still hit her like a ton of bricks. When Voldemort was weak she could pretend that the Malfoy's had changed. Now, they had definitely chosen a side. Cassie squeezed Bianca's hand in a comforting gesture. At least they would be in this together.

"You're just reciting old news! Everyone knows that they went on trial. This doesn't mean anything!" Fudge continues sounding like he was trying to convince himself.

"You fool!" McGonagall shouts uncharacteristically. "Cedric Diggory? Mr. Crouch? You can't tell me these deaths were just accidents!"

"Voldemort has returned," Dumbledore says in that annoyingly calm tone he always used.

Dumbledore tries to tell Fudge to remove the dementors from Azkaban because they will join Voldemort at the first opportunity. They also needed to befriend the giants before Voldemort could.

"Here Minister," Snape says stepping forward and pulling up his left sleeve. No doubt, the Dark Mark was on his forearm. "It's been growing more prominent all year. Tonight it was as dark as it was in the first war. This is how Voldemort summons his followers."

Fudge shook his head viciously and takes a step back from Snape. He crosses over to Harry's bed and everyone seems to tense up in anticipation. He ends up giving Harry his prize money before storming out of the hospital wing angrily.

Dumbledore began distributing tasks almost immediately after. Bill was to help Mr. Weasley spread the truth quietly around the ministry. McGonagall had to get Hagrid and Madame Maxine to Dumbledore's office. Madam Pomfrey was supposed to go console Winky the house elf. Finally, he turned to Sirius, "If you could resume your usual form."

Sirius promptly turned into his human form. Mrs. Weasley shouted and jumped away from the bed. The kids sitting on the spare bed seemed to cower back in fear. Cassie tensed at Bianca's side. Snape looked like he wanted to pull his wand on Sirius. They had a long history from their time at school, Bianca knew that much. Dumbledore made them shake hands since they would be on the same side from now on and briefly explained that Sirius was innocent.

"I need you to get in contact with the old members of the Order," Dumbledore tells Sirius after he had hesitantly shaken Snape's hand. "After that, lie low at Remus Lupin's for a while."

"No," Harry interjects, voicing what Bianca was thinking.

"You'll see me soon enough," Sirius says with a sad smile. He goes to Harry's bed and squeezes his hand while Dumbledore tells Sirius he knows what he needs to do now. Sirius comes over to Bianca's bed and Cassie steps back. Bianca didn't know if it was from fear or politeness. Sirius places a kiss on the top of Bianca's head. "I'll see you soon kiddo, be safe."

"You be safe too," Bianca says sadly. "I love you."

"I love you too kid."

Dumbledore leaves shortly after and Mrs. Weasley encourages Harry to take the sleeping potion he was given. "You can dream about what you'll do with your winnings," she smiles to him.

"No I don't want it. It should've been Cedric's. It's my fault you know, I told him to take the cup with me," Harry's voice cracks and he shakes his head as he looks down.

"It wasn't your fault," Mrs. Weasley whispers. "It's not any of your faults." She turns to look at Bianca with the last words.

Bianca wished she hadn't because they caused her weak facade to crumble. Bianca's lip quivered slightly as she thought about Cedric. She didn't want to believe he was gone. Bianca told herself Cedric was just in the common room, waiting for Bianca to go back and tell her story about Moody. Her chest physically hurt as she thought about Cedric. His hazel eyes that glimmered but always held some sadness in them. His copper hair that caught the sun and looked like satin. His smile, not only his flirty smirk but the huge goofy grin that would come on his face when they laughed together.

Bianca's heart ached as she thought about him. Even in the last hours of his life, Cedric wasn't truly happy. She thought back to the scared look on his face when he had returned with Harry. She began sobbing as she realized Cedric hadn't died happy, he was terrified and facing the pressure of being a Triwizard champion.

Cassie sat on Bianca's hospital bed and held her as she sobbed. Bianca's brain started racing as she thought about her and Cassie's strained relationship. She could feel her stomach get the light panicky feeling but she couldn't focus on grounding herself. Bianca knew she was making a scene but she couldn't care. She was feeling so much pain right now, that's all she could think about.

Bianca's breathes became more frequent and shallower. She felt Cassie let go of her and her arms were replaced with a familiar pair. It was George, holding her like he used to. His arms felt comforting and calming. She was able to steady her breath slightly but the crying didn't stop. Bianca wished Madam Pomfrey was here to give her a sleeping potion so she could temporarily be relieved of the hurt. For now, being in George's arms was enough.

After a while, Bianca was too exhausted to cry anymore. She was nervous to pull away from George's embrace, thinking the emotions would hit her all at once again. She did though and saw that nearly everyone was laying in a chair or even had taken a bed and was sleeping.

"How long was I crying?" Bianca whispers sadly looking at George. His eyes were sad, with a slightly pink color, telling Bianca he had cried too.

"Just an hour or so," he says with a small smile. "I don't mind though."

"It's not fair," Bianca whispers.

"I know, he was so young," Geroge says sadly grabbing Bianca's hand. His hands were cold and he took his thumb and traced circles on the back of her hand. Bianca shivered.

"Well yes about Cedric, but I was talking about you. It's not fair for me to dump all of my shit on you after... everything we've been through," Bianca's voice was quiet because she didn't want to disrupt the others but also because she was scared.

"Not now," George says with a small shake of his head. "You heard Dumbledore, right now we need to be united more than ever. We can talk about... us another day."

"Okay," Bianca agrees. They sit in silence for a second and that's when the exhaustion hits Bianca. It had been an incredibly long day and she was ready to sleep. "George?"

"Yes Bianca?" he asks pausing the circles he was tracing on her hand.

"Can you stay with me tonight?"

"Always."
