Maka's POV

"YOU INVITED MY FATHER OVER FOR DINNER?!?" I screamed at Soul. How could he do that without even asking me? Soul just gave a sheepish smile and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well, if he didn't find out soon you and I both know he would have found out another way, and he would have just flipped," he stated.

"I know that Soul but you could have at least talked to me before hand! I don't know what to even say to him or what to make and the house is a mess!" I rant off.

"Well, I'm sorry I didn't talk to you, but it's too late now. I guess I'll have to start cleaning," he said his with his cute grin. I can't hold grudges for too long so I just smile back. He leans in and gives me a kiss before setting off to clean.

I look into the fridge. What do we have here.. I guess I could make chef salad and steak for dinner. I set to work making the food.

Spirit's POV

I CANT BELIEVE MY LITTLE MAKA WANTED ME OVER FOR DINNER!! SHE MUST LOVE HER PAPA SO MUCH! Why did that stupid octopus head have to be there though? If he laid a finger on my whittle girly wirly then I'll rip him to SHREDS! I even heard a rumor that they were dating. But my Maka would never do something like that to me!

Soul's POV

8:57 pm

Spirit was going to be here any minute. Maka was still in the kitchen trying to perfect the steaks. I look in the mirror by the door trying to tell my self

'It will be fine'. Did I actually believe that? NOPE. But this had to be done. If it wasn't who knows what could happen. Right just then the doorbell went off. I opened it to find him standing there. The light in his eyes went off seeing that I opened the door instead of his daughter.

"Come on in Spirit," I greet him trying to be cool. He just humphs and walk in.

"Where's my little angel?" he asks looking at me angrily.

"Probably setting the table right now," I answer trying to be polite. Not my strong suit. We walk into the dining room to find Maka just finishing up. Spirit and I were probably thinking the same thing right now. 'She's so cute'

Maka's POV

As I finish putting the bowl of salad on the table I look up to see Soul and my, gulp, dad. We all sit down and I have to use all my strength to not maka chop him when he passes a snide comment about Soul.

"So, Spirit, there is actually a reason we wanted you to come over tonight," Soul starts. My dad looks at him then at me to ask what he's talking about.

"Well, uh, dad, Soul and I have news," I continue but then my dad jumps up and points at Soul.

"DID YOU SLEEP WITH MY DAUGHTER YOU LITTLE OCTOPUS HEAD FREAK?!" He yelled at the top of his lungs while pointing. Soul and I look at each other and he just rolls his eyes.

"No you Baka," his hand falls a little when I say that, " We wanted to tell you that... Soul and I are... In love..." He freezes where he stands. Then he scoffs.

"Maka, what do you know about love?" he sneers.

"A lot more then you! All you did was cheat!" I scream at him

"Maka, you know I love you and mommy!" he cries

"NO YOU DONT AND YOU NEVER DID! IF YOU LOVED US YOU WOULDN'T SLEEP WITH EVERY WOMAN YOU MEET YOU MAN WHORE! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE I DONT KNOW WHY I EVEN LET YOU INTO MY LIFE AT ALL!" I scream as tears start to roll down my cheek.

"I think you should leave now Spirit," Soul breathes. My da-- Spirit snaps his head up with a a look of pure anguish and hate.

"Make me." he challenges. I grab Souls hand and he transforms into a psych.

" You wouldn't try to hurt your papa Maka?" he asks and suddenly his anger is replaced by sadness.

"You're not my papa. You're a fucking sperm doaner. Now get out," I growl. Spirit looks like someone just stabbed his heart. He walked out of the house. And hopefully out of my life.
