It was 8:00 pm and everyone was at Kids party. We were all astonished by his beautiful home and because there was a karaoke machine. I sat next to Rukia and of course Rukia was sitting next to Crona she has a huge crush on him they have know each other longer than me and Rukia. Maka was leaning on the wall next to Soul and Tsubaki was in the back of the room trying to keep Black Star from drawing all the attention to them. Thats when I caught Maka's stare she was staring at all three of us. She knew Crona's mom was Medusa and I had a bad feeling that she was on her way to finding out about us.

"Okay I'm going to get something to drink." I said standing up.

"I'll come to." Rukia said standing up next to me. In the kitchen we were talking. "Hey that was close." Rukia said pulling open the fridge apparently she noticed Maka's glare too

"to close Rukia. She's catching on." I snapped back. "If she found out..."

"well then lets forget about it." Rukia nodded smiling

"yeah." I agreed as we walked out of the kitchen. THUD Maka hit the ground after triping over the lord death rug outside the kitchen.

"Eavesdrop much?" Rukia barked noticing Maka on the ground. Rukia was really bad at playing it cool so we don't draw attention to the fact that were both half witches.

"I know you to have a secret and I'm gonna find out what it is." Maka snapped and then turned to go back to the others. Rukia and I sat down with our milk.

"Hey, does anybody want to sing or are you scared!" Liz shouted into the microphone.

"I'll sing!" Rukia was waving her hand.

"Okay looks like miss Newbie wants to step up." Rukia stood up and set down her glass of milk. She walked up and took the mic. They had cut off the intro to her song so she just dove in singing.

"If I'm a bad person, you don't like me well I guess I'll make my own way it's a circle a mean cicyle I can't excite you anymore. Where's your gavel? your jury? What's my affense this time? Your not a judge but if your gonna judge me sentence me to another life." She was sitting on the arm rest of Makas chair. ''Don't wanna hear your sad songs. Don't wanna feel your pain you swear its all my fault 'cause you know were not The same were not the same oh were not the same.". She made her way and sat upside down next to me. "Were friends who stick together we wrote our names in blood but I guess you can't accept that the change is good its good its goooooood." She was standing next to Soul now as he rolled his eyes. " well you treat me just like another stranger well its nice to meet you sir oh I guess I'll go I'll best be on my way out. "Ignorance is your new best friend Ignorance is you new best friend. This is the best thing that could've happened any longer I wouldn't have made it its not a war no its not a rapture I'm just a person but you can't take it. The same trick ls that that once fooled me they won't get you anywhere." She sat down next to Crona. "I'm not the same kid from you memory's. Well now I can fend for myself." She sang a few more verses and than ended the song. "Bam what!" She said "top that girly." She grinned.

"I don't sing." Maka said proudly. "Buck buck buckah!" Rukia started clucking like a chicken and doing the chicken dance around the room.

"Fine! But don't blame me if it sucks." She scarfed. She stood on the stage "I don't know what to sing." She blushed I ran on stage and whispered a song in her ear. "Yeah I know that one." She nodded I played the song and hoped she get it once it started I grabbed the second mic "you start" she whispered I shruged.

"I've been waiting for a day like this to come struck like lightning my hearts beatin like a drum on the egde of something wonderful." I started.

"Face to face with changes whats it all about life is crazy but I know I can work it out, 'cause I've got you to live it with me!" She sang her voice sounded more confendent with each word.

"I feel alright I'm gonna take on the world! light up the stars I've got some pages to turn! I'm singing oh oh ohh oh oh oh-oh! I've got a ticket to the top of the sky I'm coming up I'm on the ride of my life. I'm singing oh oh oh oh oh oh-oh." We sang together.

"Take on the world!" Maka sang "take on the world!" I echoed we went back and forth three times. Then we sang a few more verses and finished. After that we all played games laughed and eventually went home. I'm so glad Maka didn't catch on.
