After waking up Sonic is still thinking of a plan to get into mobotropolis and get the chaos emerald without being caught and being accused of thievery so he has to come up with something but then sonic sees a black cloak.

Sonic: "Hey that cloak is the one that I wore at Halloween just to scare tails into thinking I'm a death reaper, tails couldn't sleep for the past 2 months after that hahahaha wait a minute I could use this to get into mobotropilis".

Sonic then puts the cloak on and grabs some carpets and prepares to go to mobotropilis .

Sonic makes his way to mobotropilis and sees the city and sees that its entrance is guarded by two wild dog guards.

Sonic: 'This guards must be here to not let me in or intruders in mobotropilis after that incident well I gotta test if this disguise works if it doesn't plan B will settle'.

So Sonic walks up to the guards and they noticed a man in a cloak and put up their spears.

Guard 1: "Halt! What are you doing here in mobotropilis!"

Guard 2: "Are you an intruder working for robotnik!"

Sonic: "Woah chill out dudes I'm just a visitor that wants to check out this rad city."

Guard 2: "So what's with the carpets?"

Sonic: "Uh ...umm oh um that's because I'm a carpet service man someone that is supposed to deliver carpets to all of möbius."

The guards looked at him suspiciously.

Guard 1: "He looks suspicious don't you agree brother".

Guard 2: "Yeah and he also sounds like a certain someone".

Sonic is starting to sweat bullets here.

Sonic: 'If it doesn't work plan b it is then.'

The guards looked at each other and nodded.

Guard 1: "Okay kid you're welcomed in."

Sonic is surprised

Sonic: "Really."

Guard 2: "Yeah but if you're caught killing or stealing from the king well let's just say it wouldn't end well for you or your life."

Sonic nodded and goes to the doors of the city and was surprised that the city.....has not changed at all it's still the same city after the invasion.

Sonic: 'Woah this place hasn't changed at all ever since the iron queen incident'.

Then sonic notices that the people of mobotroplils are looking at him strangely like he's the grim reaper or something like that then he forgot he was wearing a cloak that looked liked a reaper but enough stalling he needs to find that chaos emerald and run off with it before anyone notices that it was him in the cloak  but for now he is just some guy in a robe that holds carpets.

Sonic: 'Okay Everyone's looking at me it must be the robes but don't worry i know how to sort it out'.

Sonic: "Don't worry everyone I'm not the grim reaper I'm just a carpet delivery guy that's just delivering carpets all over mobius!"

Then the people just looked at him weirdly for a minute before getting back to their normal activities.

Sonic: 'Okay that worked out pretty well, now no one is going to stop me from getting the third emerald and- wait a minute these two people look familiar no it couldn't be is that Sally and Nicole!'

Sonic couldn't believe his eyes that those are his (former) teammates. Princess Sally Acorn daughter of (former) King Maximilian Acorn and brother to the current King Elias Acorn. She wears blue boots and a blue jacket and is the leader of the freedom fighters a group made to stop egg man from taking over möbius and Sonic was one of them but thanks to certain events he was forced to leave the team and by forced I mean it literally but that's a story for another day.

Nicole the Holo Lynx is a computer program that digitalised into a mobian lynx. She wears a purple dress and there was that one time she was under the control of the iron dominion and is the first one to turn against Sonic because when she was captured by the iron dominion the iron queen "showed" her that Sonic was the one who caused this mess and many other disasters that would have been avoided if Sonic finished of Eggman and Nicole believed her.I would've mention other things that happened but that's all you need to know.

Sonic was understandably freaking out about them being here and they could cause a lot of problems for him, what if they recognised him under that disguise, what if they were curious of him and followed him, that would not be good so Sonic decided to find a place to hide but then a voice called out to him.

Sally: "Oh hello are you new here in this city I've never seen you before."

Sonic sweats nervelessly and starts turning around slowly and sees Sally and Nicole looking at him and starts thinking what to say to them.

Sonic(in his mind): 'Um what should I say what should I say... *lightbulb appears on his head* I've got it!'

Sonic(specking in Roger Craig Smiths Voice): "Oh don't worry about me I'm just a visitor in this city, I've heard many wonderful things in this city so I decided to visit it to try for myself".

Sally: "Oh okay then we will just be leaving come on Nicole".

Nicole: "Yes Sally".

They both started walking away.

Sonic: "Wait actually I'm also here for something else."

Sally: "Huh then what is it then."

Sonic: "I'm looking for someone called *Sonic looks around and sees a chicken like mobian* chickenleg he's a thug holding a red diamond He stole from me so I need your help to defeat him."

Nicole and Sally looked deadpanned.

Nicole: "ChickenLeg....that's an odd name for a mobian."

Sally: "Yeah but we are welling to help so do you know his location and what he looks like."

Sonic(rubs his cloaked head): "Um no but what I do know is that he usually goes to bar salons and for his appearance he is as buff as a those guards at the gate and for his attire, he wears black shades and he wears black and purple clothes and his fur  is white."

Sally: "Okay um Nicole can you track this person?"

Nicole: "I will try Princess Sally."

Nicole's eyes then turn pure green as she searches the area for chicken leg (seriously that's a weird name I came up of and Sonic was drinking some apple juice that he brought) and after a few minutes her eyes turned back to normal.

Nicole: "I found the location where chicken leg is at."

Sonic then spits out his apple juice in a comical way at the fact that a mobian named ChickenLeg actually exists and also that made Sally and Nicole look at him weirdly.

Sonic: "Oh Uh I didn't know that a normal lynx can find the guy I was looking for by just standing still and having green eyes."

Sally: "Well Nicole isn't just a normal lynx she was originally an A.I who materialised into a mobian lynx and she is the one who controls the city with nanotechnology and- Hey! Are you even listening to me."

As it seems Sonic was sleeping getting bored of the fact that he was getting lectured about something he already knew about but woke up due to Sally's yelling.

Sonic: "Uh yes I was listening to a single thing you said I was just laying down and closing my eyes to listen more."

Sally just groans while Nicole just chuckles.

Sonic: "Uh anyways Nicole can you show me to chickenleg's location."

Nicole: "Of course just follow me and I will lead you to his location." (Yeah I know bad dialogue)

Sally: "I'll come too just to make sure you don't do anything stupid."

Sonic: "Okay! Nicole lead us to ChickenLegs location."

But what the trio didn't know is that they were being watched by a small bot.

*Timeskip brought to you by Sonic running away from water*

Sonic, Sally and Nicole are now outside of a bar salon.
Sonic: "Okay not that we're here all I have to do is open this door and kick ChickenLegs ugly butt."

But when Sonic was about to open the door Sally stopped him.

Sally: "Wait first of all we need to make sure this is the right salon ChickenLeg is at considering that he could change location at any point how about we peek at the window and see if he still has that red emerald you mentioned."

Sonic: " *groans* Fine but after that then I kick his butt."

Sonic, Sally and Nicole then peeked through the window and see any signs of a buff chicken mobian with a red emerald but so far found nothing and as Sally and Nicole were about to give up Sonic called them back.

Sonic: "Guys come back I see him."

The two freedom fighters then rushed back to the salon and peeked at the window.

Nicole: "What where is he?"

Sonic (showing Nicole and Sally): "Just right about here."

The two ladies then peeked closer and saw a buff white coloured Chicken in a military like uniform ordering drinks and then they looked at his lower half and they both saw a red emerald hanging around a rope.

Sally: "So that's the mobian you were looking for right wait I don't think I've gotten your name yet and- are you listening to me!"

Meanwhile with Sonic he was shocked and confused. Shocked because he would never have thought that someone he made up was real and confused on how this guy got his hands on a Chaos emerald and now Sonic is questioning if that red emerald really is a chaos emerald but then something strange just happened the red emerald glowed a not very but bright light and then a bright green and yellow light also appeared from his pocket where he holds the two chaos emeralds.

Sonic: 'Yep this is definitely a chaos emerald and oh poop Sally and Nicole just saw that happening I need to come up with an excuse.'

Nicole: "Um sorry to interrupt here but did your pockets just glow at the same time that red emerald glowered if I'm not correct?"

Sonic: "Um that... that was just my um emerald tracker it's made just in case ChickenLeg made a fake emerald to trick me into thinking that was the real emerald and it seems like this emerald is the real deal."

Sally and Nicole gave suspicious looks at him but then they just said "Eh" and peeked at the window.

Sally: "So what's the plan ?"

Sonic then dropped his carpets.

Sonic: "Well all I have to do is go inside there and kick some butts."

Sally and Nicole sweat dropped at the cloaked guys "plan".

Nicole then asked: "Then what should we do to help?"

Sonic: "Well you do your technology thing and switch off the lights."

Sally: "And then what should I do?"

Sonic: "Just sit there or help Nicole with switching the lights off and while you guys do your thing I'll do my own thing."

Sonic then kicked the door opened the door and everyone at the salon looked at him. And then Sonic looked at ChickenLeg.

Sonic: "Hey you buff chicken you have something I need."

ChickenLeg: "Are you talking about this thing?"

ChickenLeg then pulled out the chaos emerald

Sonic: "That's right and you better give it or else I'll kick your butt."

ChickenLeg then laughed.

ChickenLeg: "Oh yah I would like to see you try."

Sonic then walked towards ChickenLeg who felt not intimidated by him.

Sonic: "Ok then I'll do this the hard way."

Sonic then punches ChickenLeg in the face and everyone (in the salon just to remind you) was shocked and ChickenLeg looked at the cloaked hedgehog with anger.

ChickenLeg: "Oh so you wanna start a fight then take this." ChickenLeg then tries to punch Sonic but the cloaked hedgehog dodged the attack and kicks ChickenLeg at the chest in which it cause a fight to broke out in the bar salon.

Meanwhile Sally and Nicole watch the chaos unfold.

Nicole: "Well I didn't expect him to do that."

Sally: "Yeh me too but let's not keep the cloaked guy waiting for us let's go Nicole."

Nicole: "Right."

Meanwhile back at the salon a bar fight broke out and Sonic is busy fighting off some thugs and doing a decent job despite not using his powers to fight them of but then ChickenLeg managed to get a hit on him by punching him the face hard (like Paul's Ursaring punches Ash's Buizels hard) and Sonic lands on a wooden table.

ChickenLeg: "Hah well you don't look so tough now little man how about I take of this cloak on you."

Sonic: "Wait don't do it."
ChickenLeg: *Smirk* "And why shouldn't I?"

And at the same time as ChickenLeg removed the cloak of Sonic the lights turned off.

ChickenLeg: "Hey who turned the lights off ?"

*Screen shot of Nicole and Sally fist bumping each other.*

And as he said that an un cloaked Sonic kicked him in the face and stole the red emerald from him and starts to take down the other thugs in the salon with his speed thanks to the lights being off leaving ChickenLeg the last one standing.

Sonic: "Okay ChickenLeg before I give the finishing blow tell me this: how did you get your hands on this emerald."

ChickenLeg: *smirks and start's laughing* Oh I would but I can't my boss ordered me not to tell anyone of how I got the emerald."

Sonic: "So who's your boss then ?"

ChickenLeg: "Sorry but I'm not the one to reveal my business small guy."

Sonic: "Grrr ok if you won't talk I would just take you down!"

Sonic then lands a powerful punch right up of ChickenLegs face and ChickenLeg lands on the table knocked out and Sonic grabs the cloak and puts it on and puts the red emerald in his pocket and then Sally and Nicole opened the back door and saw what a mess he made.

Sally: "woah I guess that's one way to get something you want."

Sonic: *grins* "Heh what can I say When someone refuses to give the emerald I might as well just make a fight."

Nicole then looks at ChickenLeg.

Nicole: "So what about him."

Sonic: "Oh him well I don't know what to do with this guy."

Sally:  "Well I think me and Nicole will take him to prison maybe my brother will try to decide what to do with him."

And then right when Sally said that a mysterious smoke appears in front of the trio and when the smoke clears ChickenLeg was nowhere to be seen.

Sonic: "What the where is he ?"

Sally then turns to Nicole.

Sally: "Nicole can you track him in this place."

Nicole: "I will try." *Nicole's eyes turned green as she searches the area but found nothing*.

Sonic: "Well did you find any traces of him Nicole ?"

Nicole: "Sadly no I tried to scan any areas around here but it looks like he's gone."

Sonic: *sighs* "Well at least I got my emerald that's all it matters."

Sally: "Yeah but then there's a rogue mobian on the loose who knows what he could be up to."

Nicole then puts her hand on Sally's shoulder.

Nicole: "Don't worry we'll deal with it *then turns to Sonic* meanwhile you can put your emerald in a safe place."

Sonic: "Yea, Yea don't worry I already know where to put this thing....well I must be going thanks for your help."

As Sonic was about to exit the door Sally called out to him.

Sally: "Your welcome but wait we don't know your name."

Sonic smirks and picks up his carpets.

Sonic: "You don't need to know my name just remember what I look like."

And as Sonic says that he took out a smoke bomb and disappears.

Sally: "Well that was weird."

Nicole: "Ditto but it is getting late we should get back to the castle princess Sally."

Sally: "You're right Nicole and by the way is there any chance we could see him again ?"

Nicole: "Maybe but I don't want him to be you-know-who."

Sally: " Me too but let's not mention him today Nicole."

Nicole: "Yes Sally."

Then the two friends went away from the salon but what they both didn't know is that a small bot recorded everything and activated it's wings to inform it's master

*Meanwhile with our favourite blue hedgehog*

Sonic then greeted the guards who (kindly) let the him go out of the city and when they weren't looking Sonic runs away to his secret location.

Sonic: "Woah That was a close call one mess up and Sally and Nicole would've attacked me but at least I got the emerald."

Sonic then looks at the three emeralds and smirks.

Sonic: "Okay 3 down 4 more to go it seems like Egghead is losing this race all I need is four more emeralds and Eggmans toasted."

*Meanwhile in Eggmans base*

Snively: "Master why did you let Sonic take the chaos emerald the emerald would've been yours to take but you didn't?"

Eggman: "Quiet you coward I let Sonic take the emerald on purpose."

Snively: "And why is that my lord?"

Eggman: "It's so that while Sonic is busy I would spend my time searching for the other four emeralds and while Sonic is busy in mobotropolis I have already found the blue chaos emeralds location."

Snively: "So you let Sonic get the emerald on purpose just so that you could find the other emeralds?...that's genius my lord."

Eggman: "Of course it is but I won't underestimate that hedgehog so I'm going there on my own and for a while ready my Eggjet."

Snively: "Y-yes my lord."

And while Snively said that the small bot from earlier flew over Snively and on Eggmans shoulder.

Eggman: Ah well if it isn't my scouting drone I knew you would've come in handy spying on Sonic so let's see what that little runt is doing."

*Meanwhile in a secret base that nether Sonic nor Eggman knew*

And inside the base ChickenLeg bows down to a mysterious yellow hooded man.

ChickenLeg: "I'm sorry my master the blue hedgehog stole the emerald from me."

???: "Now don't worry ChickenLeg you've done a decent job protecting the emerald from Sonic and now he has it all I have to do is play the double agent for Eggman and watch them both destroy themselves but for now you can rest."

ChickenLeg: "Thank you my lord."

As ChickenLeg walked out of the lair the mysterious man looks out at the window.

???: "Sonic and Eggman both of these two are menaces in this planet there battles and fights almost destroyed this planet in which I would not stand for it but I could not go face them myself all I have to do is wait until they both destroy each other hahahahhahahahahahaha."

(Woah it's nice to be on this book again and sorry for the delays but I was busy on the other books I published that I almost dropped the book completely but thanks to determination I managed to bring this book back to life and it's okay if you don't like this book it is your opinion but if you want to write about my problems like my grammar it's okay. Oh and sorry if I messed up some lines for certain characters I'm not that good with dialogue but anyways have a good day my readers.)
