(Y/N) dashed into the kitchen.
"HEY, RUBY!" he yelled. "I WANNA MAKE SOME COOKIES WITH MY COOKIE QUEEN!"
Ruby popped up from behind the cooking table.
"Okay," she said, giving (Y/N) her usual charming smile.
(Y/N) dashed on the table next to Ruby. "How does this work? I've never made cookies before."
"Well," Ruby said, taking an egg, "first, you take an egg, and tap it on the bowl so the shell will break."
"Okay," (Y/N) said.
He grabbed his own egg, and slammed it onto the bowl, shattering the egg, and sending egg yolk everywhere.
"(Y/N), not that hard!" Ruby yelled, laughing.
"Oh..."
Ruby took her own egg. "Like this!"
She tapped it on the bowl, but nothing happened. She tapped harder, and still nothing happened.
"Ooh!" (Y/N) said. "It's as stubborn as Eggman's egg-drones!"
"Shut up!" Ruby said.
She tapped the egg harder over and over, until she finally lost patience and tossed it into the bowl, sending a little bit of egg yolk onto her cheek.
"Oh, so you are supposed to do that," (Y/N) said, grabbing a napkin and wiping the yolk off her cheek.
Ruby smiled at him.
A little bit later, Ruby grabbed the bag of flour.
"Next, you put in some flour," she said, turning the bag to pour some flour in.
But nothing came out.
"And what if it doesn't want to?" (Y/N) asked, pointing at the bag.
Ruby leapt above the bowl with the bag. "You force it to!" she whispered in an intimidating voice, or at least as intimidating as her adorable voice would allow.
Suddenly, flour poured out of the bag.
Ruby was moaning in defeat, while (Y/N) was on the ground, buried by the flour.
Later, Ruby picked up a bag of chocolate chips.
"Next," she said, pulling out a chocolate chip, "you gotta... you gotta... gotta..."
She put the chocolate chip in her mouth.
"Oh," (Y/N) said. "I thought you'd just put it in there but fair enough."
(Y/N) reached for the bag, only for Ruby to slap his hand.
"No!" she said. "You are supposed to put them in! I just... couldn't... resist..."
She began stuffing handfuls of chocolate chips into her mouth.
(Y/N) glared at her. She continued to stuff them into her mouth, until she noticed him staring at her. She stopped, eyes widened as she realized the situation. She slowly reached into the bag, grabbed a chocolate chip, and slowly handed it to him.
He took the chocolate chip and tossed it into his mouth, without taking his eyes off Ruby.
Later, Ruby was preparing to mix the contents in the bowl.
"Next," she said to (Y/N), "you take this... long... spoon... thing... and you just stir it around."
She tried to stir the bowl, but the spoon wouldn't move.
"Uh..." (Y/N) said, scratching his head.
Ruby started pulling harder, but it wouldn't budge.
"This cookie cooking session couldn't get worse," (Y/N) said.
Ruby got up on the table, placed her feet on the bowl, and pulled as hard as she could. But, she lost her grip on the spoon and went flying backwards.
"Shouldn't have said anything," (Y/N) said, facepalming.
Ruby leapt back onto the table, and shoved against the spoon, using all her strength. But it wasn't enough, and she flipped over the bowl.
She leapt at the spoon and kicked it. Still, nothing happened, and she fell to the ground.
She peeked at the bowl, like a predator stalking its prey.
"Here, let me try," (Y/N) said.
He got up onto the table, and tried to move the spoon. Only this time, it worked. Ruby's jaw dropped as (Y/N) mixed the contents in the bowl.
"How--?!" Ruby yelled.
"I guess I'm Link and this is the Master Sword," (Y/N) said, a huge smile on his face as he mixed.
Later, Ruby was sitting in the sink, dumping more chocolate chips into her mouth, while (Y/N) mixed the bowl, glaring at her as he did.
Finally, they finished the cookies, and had a glass of milk ready. They stood on the table together.
"The Cookie King and Queen have triumphed!" they cheered in sync.
"And now for a victory cookie!" (Y/N) said. "Ladies first!"
Ruby kissed (Y/N)'s cheek. "Thank you, my sweet little hedgehog!"
She tried to put the cookie into the milk, but it was too big to fit.
"Awwww!" she whined, before falling off the table.
(Y/N) lowered his head in disappointment.
He saw the cup of milk nearly falling on Ruby, but quickly grabbed it before it could do so.
Timeskip
Team RWBY was playing "Pin the tail on the donkey."
Weiss had a blindfold on, and had the donkey tail on Myrtenaster.
Ruby tossed her at the donkey, but she missed the tail spot.
"Miss!" she yelled.
"Drat," Weiss said, slumping over, while still holding onto Myrtenaster.
"My turn!" (Y/N) said, putting on a blindfold.
A little later, Ruby tossed (Y/N) at the donkey. He had the tail on one of his quills.
He hit the correct spot, and stuck there, quills stuck on the wall.
"You did it!" Ruby cheered.
"Yay!" (Y/N) said, raising his fists into the air.
"Oh come on!" Weiss said.
Timeskip
Ruby was walking past Team RWBY's dorm.
She saw (Y/N) in there, who was looking at a book under Blake's pillow.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" she said. "What'cha looking at?!"
"I think Blake is hiding this book under her pillow," he said.
"Really?" Ruby said.
She zipped over to the pillow, and saw the book. She pulled it out.
"Ninjas, huh?" she said. "Wanna read it?"
"Sure, why not?" (Y/N) said.
Timeskip
(Y/N) was sitting, traumatized and shaking, in Ruby's bunk, after reading the entire book in two seconds.
Ruby was looking through it, but seemed much more intrigued than he did.
She turned a page, and gasped. She leaned in and smiled as she continued to read.
"Oh yeah," she said, dreamily.
She flipped through some more pages, before turning the book sideways.
"Now that's a katana," she said.
"It is," (Y/N) said, still shaking, before falling off her bunk.
Timeskip
Blake was looking for her book, but it was missing. She started to panic.
She frantically looked through the bookshelf.
"Where is it?!" she said.
"How could you do this to my boyfriend?!" Ruby growled to her.
Blake looked at Ruby, who was holding a still shaking (Y/N) in one arm, and Blake's book in the other.
"What happened to Sonic?" Blake asked, when she noticed the book. "Ruby, is that my book?"
Suddenly, (Y/N) snapped out of his traumatized state, leapt out of Ruby's arm, grabbed the book from her, and held it out to Blake.
"This is filth!" he said. "FILTH!"
He slapped Blake with the book, and he and Ruby left with it.
"Can- Can I have my book back?" Blake asked.
"LATER!" Ruby said.
