Jesus and I

This year for Christmas
I will be spending it with Jesus
It will be just Jesus and I
O the thought of it made me cry

Do not get me wrong
These are not tears of sorrow
My heart springs out in a song
O such joy for tomorrow

Just Jesus and I
Without noise or distraction
O how I long to draw nigh
Into His love and affection

Truly this will be a wonderful time
To worship my Lord Almighty
Without the worry of time
Residing and abiding in His Glory
