It had been well over two months since Tadashi had passed. Everyone was still in mourning and trying to get past it, but Hiro and (y/n) had it the worst being so close to him.
Tadashi and (y/n) had been together for two years and they had met at Nerd School as Hiro would call it. (y/n) still remembered like it was yesterday when a nervous Tadashi had first asked her out.

(y/n) was in her private lab, she had been working on blueprints and coding for over eight hours. She was sleep deprived, starving, and her eyes felt like they were going to start bleeding.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door which snapped (y/n) out of her own little bubble. She got up and trudged over to the door and tiredly opened it to see Tadashi.

"Hey Tadashi."
" (y/n), hey I'm surprised to find you here this early."
"Wait what time is it?"
"Eight in the morning" Tadashi said cautiously, (y/n) groaned and walked back into her lab. She sat back down.
"I've been here all night." She sighed "Besides that what's up Tadashi?"
"Oh I-I" Tadashi rubbed the back of his neck as his face turned red. (y/n) smirked. Tadashi pulled his hat over his face and mumbled something.
"What was that?"
"Would you like to go on a date with me? As more than friends I mean." Tadashi countiuned avoiding eye contact with her.
"I'd love to Tadashi just give me a date and time." (y/n) said with a smile.

(y/n) was waiting outside her house in a cozy sweater and jeans. She was waiting for Tadashi to come and pick her up for the date. She had gotten so distracted by the autumn trees she hadn't seen Tadashi pull up on his moped. He walked up to her. She smiled.
"Hey (y/n). I hope I'm not too late." He said rubbing the back of his neck again.
"No it's fine, I haven't been waiting long. No hat I see." She smirked. "Nothing to hide behind." He smiled. Tadashi gestured for bike.
"Ready to go?" He asked.
"Absolutely." (y/n) started walking toward the moped.
"Hey (y/n)?" (y/n) turned around to face Tadashi. "You look flawless." She smiled.

"So where are we going?" (y/n) asked Tadashi over the wind. He stopped at the red light.
"I figured Finn's Bistro. I already made reservations is that okay?"
"Sounds great."

They quickly got seated at the packed restaurant.
"I want to thank you for saying yes to a date." Tadashi said as they looked over the menu. (y/n) smiled.
"Of course I said yes. Tadashi you're such a great guy. I've been waiting months for you to ask me on a date you, dork." (y/n) and Tadashi smiled.

(y/n) and Tadashi were celebrating their one year anniversary where they had their first date; Finn's Bistro.
"This is really great Tadashi, very romantic."
"I try my best to impress you." (y/n) smiled.
"Even though we've been together for a year." (y/n) felt so lucky to find someone as kind and caring as Tadashi was.
"I actually brought us here for one another reason."
"Oh really and what would that be?" Tadashi stood up and got down on one knee.

"Yes! Yes Tadashi! Of course I'll marry you!" Tadashi bolted up and caught (y/n) in his arms and kissed her. "I love you so much." She said only separating the kiss for a very short period of time. "You know Hiro told me." (y/n) whispered in his ear.
"Really, you knew?"
"Hey I said yes that's what really matters."
