Shadow was listening to some music while he was cleaning up the living room, using the vacuum to pick up the dirt from the floor. Sonic on the other hand was taking a nice warm bubble bath as he was relaxing and rejuvenating himself. "Ah, bubbles" Sonic said as he was so relaxed and enjoying the warmth of the water and the lavender bubbles that Shadow prepared for him in advance the moment he woke up. "I wished Shadow would rub my back, but, he gotta clean, so I might as well relax a while, just to soothe my body" Sonic said to himself as he was laid back and looking very calm.

Shadow was doing a deep clean of the house as he tries to make it spotless and feel like a new home once again. "Thank chaos they invented vacuum cleaners, otherwise, I will be here for a few hours" Shadow said to himself as he vacuumed under the couches, taking out the dust, crumbs, and trash. Shadow heard some music he liked and hummed along to it so he can clean and not feel like it is taking longer than it has to. 'I hope Sonic is enjoying the bubble bath I made for him' Shadow thought as he vacuumed the whole living room.

~3 Hours Later~

Sonic was relaxing on the couch while Shadow just finished cleaning the house's floors, disinfecting surfaces that needed cleaning, and places where dust collects. Shadow finally sits down and drinks some freshly brewed coffee, relaxing with Sonic who was drinking some juice. "Enjoyed your bath hun?" Shadow asked. "Yeah, now I see why you smell and love lavender, so soothing and relaxing" Sonic said as he drinks the last of his juice. "See, no more complaining about me smelling like a lavender air freshener now mister" Shadow said.

"Hmm, touche" Sonic said with a soft giggle. Shadow chuckled and had turned on a lavender candle to set the scent for the house with a lighter. "Lavender is your favorite scent huh?" Sonic asked. "Mhm, lavender can relieve stress and help you focus better, that is why I love lavender scents" Shadow said as he wrapped an arm around his lavender-scented boyfriend. "That's actually a good point, now I see why, it's actually quite nice you care about your mental health, very inspiring" Sonic said as he places a kiss on his cheek while feeling so refreshed from the bath he took earlier.

"Thank you hun, so, what would you like to do, go to the movies? Eat at a restaurant? Go shopping for stuff you might like?" Shadow asked. "I wanna go to a beautiful place I found online, it is one of the most amazing place to be, it has a big cherry blossom tree right in the center of it all, Espio sent me a picture of the place and told me that I should go visit there" Sonic said as he shows Shadow the picture of the beautiful cherry blossom tree in a park. "That is a nice tree" Shadow said as he takes his phone and looked closely at the tree's gorgeous flowers.

"Where might this be at?" Shadow asked. "Well, he gave me the directions to get there, we can just use your Chaos Control to get there" Sonic said as he smiled. "Okay hun, we can go there, because I know how much you find the beauty in flowers, sure they are beautiful but each flower is very unique, I think that is why you love them so much, because it reminds you that it is okay to be different, not one flower is the same to you, they are all gorgeous in their own ways" Shadow said as he looked at Sonic.

"Aww, that is a sweet thing to say, you really do pay attention to my likes" Sonic said with his tail wagging fast. "Hey, I gotta know my lover's likes and dislikes one way or another" Shadow said as he licks his head and kissed it, making Sonic giggle a lot. "But likes are what make a personality be shown, I am so glad you were interested in what makes me happy" Sonic said with a heartwarming smile. "You're welcome my love, I just want to know what you find joy in so in case I wanna get you something or take you somewhere, I would know what to do" Shadow said.

Sonic smiled and kisses his nose as he gets up and stretches. Shadow smiled and drinks his coffee still as he puts down his mug and gets up. "I really wanna see the tree in person, cherry blossoms are very pretty flowers, and can be used in sweets, it is like a salty taste, or so Espio told me" Sonic said as he looked at Shadow. "Huh, I never knew that, clever chameleon" Shadow said as he takes his hand and smiled, walking upstairs with him so they can get their socks so they can leave.

"We going now?" Sonic asked as he saw Shadow open the drawer and took out two pairs of socks, giving one to Sonic and nodding at him. Sonic smiled brightly and quickly puts on his socks on, Shadow chuckled and started to put on his socks as well. Sonic then takes his own gloves, putting them on his hands and smiling so happily. Shadow watched his lover having a smile on his face, making himself smile as well. Sonic kindly got Shadow's gloves and smiled, Shadow taking them and putting his own gloves on, fully ready like Sonic is.

"I can't wait to go! I really wanna see that tree in its habitat at the park!" Sonic said as he sounded so eager and excited to be able to see the tree in person. "Alright hun, hold my hand, and I will teleport us to the location you showed me" Shadow said as he held out a hand for Sonic's hand to grab. Sonic saw his hand and grabbed it, intertwining his fingers with his fingers. Shadow held Sonic close and smiled softly. "CHAOS CONTROL!" Shadow yelled, a second later, they arrived at the park, Sonic gasping when he saw they were actually at the same location Espio sent to him.

There was then a sign that reads "Welcome to Flower Park Zone, enjoy the beautiful array of flowers you find, have a wonderful day in out little park, also, you may pick flowers here, just leave some for everyone else to enjoy, thank you!" on it. "Flower Park Zone? Sounds about right" Shadow said as he walked inside with Sonic. As they walked in, they immediately saw so many different flowers there, Sonic's eyes sparkling at the many beautiful species of flowers he saw. "Guess you can call this your " Personal Paradise" Sonikku" Shadow said with a chuckle as they walked around to look at all of them and take a few pictures. Sonic felt so much overwhelming happiness as he saw roses, pansies, hydrangeas, tulips, carnations and so many more flowers that were there.

 ~1 Hour Later~

Sonic and Shadow were trying to find the tree after taking a few selfies with the flowers so Sonic can be happy. "If I were a cherry blossom tree, where would I be?" Sonic questioned as he looked around. Suddenly they saw the beautiful tree after walking to the center of the park, Sonic gasping at the tree. "IT'S SO PRETTY!" Sonic said as he ran to the tree and looked at it up close, seeing the multiple cherry blossoms in the branches of the very versatile tree. "Wow, much more nice in person" Shadow said as he followed Sonic, seeing Sonic picking a few cherry blossom flowers as Shadow saw some cherry blossom petals on the grass.

Sonic smiled and sat down, taking the cherry blossom and starting to do something with them. Shadow got close to the tree and sat down while leaning on the very sturdy bark, sighing in relief that he is under the shade and cooling off a bit. "These cherry blossoms are so cute, who knew cherries can grow from these beautiful flowers" Sonic said as he kept making something with the cherry blossom flowers he picked. "It is quite nice, cherries are good fruits" Shadow said as he takes out a phone and takes a picture of Sonic who had the sweetest smile on his happy face.

Sonic smiled and kept making something from the cherry blossom as Shadow slowly closed his eyes and felt the soft breeze and the cooling sensation of the shade he was under. After a few minutes, Shadow was in peace just feeling everything feel wonderful around him. Suddenly he felt something put on his head, making him open up his eyes to see Sonic smiling and taking a picture of him, quickly showing what he did. Shadow examined the picture and saw a beautifully made flower crown out of the cherry blossoms, making him chuckle softly.

"A flower crown?" Shadow asked. "Because you are my king in my eyes, my love" Sonic said as he places a kiss on his lips. Shadow chuckled again as he kissed back. Sonic stopped the kiss but softly did some pecking on the lips, Shadow pecking them as well to feel his lips kissing his every time. Sonic stopped and giggled as he lays on his lap, feeling Shadow hold him close as they both look up the cherry blossom tree's flowers while some sun shown through the flowers, making it look majestic and gorgeous for the atmosphere feeling rather calming.

"Shadow, will we always be together?" Sonic asked as Shadow looked down. "What made you wanna ask me that?" Shadow asked. "I don't know, just a thought, but if we ever have a better life for each other, I want you to still be with me, I don't want to lose you" Sonic said as he looked up at the tree still. Shadow looked at Sonic still, pondering his words. "I won't ever leave you, even if it is for money, I would never do that, I love you too much to give up the one good thing I really have left, someone to call my own" Shadow said as he held Sonic extremely close.

"Aww, really babe?" Sonic asked as some cherry blossoms fell on them due to the wind getting a bit stronger making them fall from the tree. "Yes, I would never leave the one who makes me the happiest I can be, without you, my life would still be so bleak, and no hope in my mind, with you, you make all my worries and troubles melt away, every cuddle, every hug, and even every kiss, makes me feel very happy that I found you and have had the honor of being yours" Shadow said as he rubbed Sonic's head softly.

"That makes me feel a lot better because I want to share more moments like this with you, be it a hangout, be it a ride on your motorcycle somewhere, or even be it traveling the world, I want you to be there" Sonic said as he nuzzled on Shadow's chest fur and felt happy. Shadow smiled and puts the flower crown he had on his head right on Sonic's head. "There you go, now you are my king as well" Shadow said with a heartful chuckle. "Hey, that was yours mister" Sonic said with a giggle as he then felt Shadow kissing all over his face. Someone in the distance was watching them the entire time but suddenly disappeared, not wanting to intrude on their time.

"And now it is yours" Shadow said in between the kisses he planted on his face over and over making Sonic laugh loudly. Shadow stopped and still holds Sonic, chuckling loudly as he loved Sonic's adorable laugh. After a bit, they were then calm and looked at each other. "Thank you for taking me here, it was so nice, I even got wonderful pictures of us, this is something I will remember, I appreciate having you as my lover" Sonic said. "You are welcome baby, we will go to many amazing sites and places you want, I will try to keep that promise to you, my Sonikku" Shadow said as the wind blew more cherry blossom petals on them, both hedgehogs basking in the aura of their own love in the wonderous flower park, a sign in the distance saying "Cherry Blossom Tree in the Lover's Nook, enjoy your day and thank you for finding this wonderful tree", the hedgehogs indeed having an amazing time under the cherry blossom tree in happiness.
