The moment Gojo and Sukuna's fight started, Y/N was about to go after Gojo had Ijichi not stop her.

"Ijichi, let go of me"

"I'm sorry Y/N-san"

"I said, let go of me"

Ijichi was so scared of her serious tone, but he's more scared of Gojo.

Gojo made him swear in front of him that no matter what happens in their fight, he would not let Y/N come there.

"I can't let you go, Y/N-san I'm really sorry"

"What the, Ijichi!" Y/N exclaimed.

"Do whatever it takes for you to restrain her"

"Take this handcuff off right this instant!"

But Ijichi just apologized and bowed non-stop to her. Y/N clicked her tongue in annoyance. If Ijichi doesn't listen to her it only means one thing: Gojo made an order that he couldn't refuse. And maybe threatened him.

He did threaten him. "Don't you ever let her come near where we are. If you do, I'll kill you myself, Ijichi"

He even instructed Ijichi to use the special grade cursed tool handcuffs with various talismans engraved on it, just to make sure to restrict her cursed technique.

Everyone was so focused on their fight, and no one dared to let her go. They all knew she's going there herself, and Gojo has told them to never let her.

Every single slash and cut made to Gojo and Megumi felt like Y/N was the one being stabbed in her heart. She could not bear seeing Megumi and him fighting each other.

"Megumi..." she muttered.

Everyone was at the edge of their seats when they thought Gojo would lose, but he was and is able to get back on track every time.

Of course, he is Gojo Satoru.

But Y/N just couldn't rest easy. She thought of ways to get the cuff off her wrist, to no avail. She tried pick-locking it with her weapon but it just wouldn't work.

Gojo is literally frying his brain right now as he continuously uses his reversed curse technique, and Y/N could not stay still anymore. She doesn't plan on intervening the fight per se, she just wants to be there as back up in case something grave will happen. She had the worst gut feel in her life since yesterday, and she hated it the most.

Angel has been looking at her and the fight simultaneously, and she couldn't take it as well. She knows Gojo might really kill Megumi.

Hoping that if Y/N goes there, they would be able to somehow devise a quick plan, so she quietly helped her free.

"Huh?" Y/N was confused when she was helping her out. Everyone, even Ijichi was too focused on watching the fight.

"Shh" she shushed her. "Y/N-san please, save Megumi" she said as she released her wrist from being cuffed.

"You don't need to tell me" Y/N said. "But thank you" at this, she gave the girl a curt smile and escaped the place. No one ever noticed her suddenly disappearing as they were all focused on the fight, even Ijichi.

Y/N ran and ran towards the place where Gojo and Sukuna were fighting, it was far away from where they were staying and it took her a while when she got there.

Upon reaching them, she was relieved when she saw Gojo was the one standing in victory, but her heart shattered upon seeing Megumi's state. All the while they all thought Gojo finally won. And Y/N was going to run towards him when Sukuna suddenly slashed Gojo.

"NO! SATORU!" Y/N screamed and Gojo's eyes widened as he saw Y/N running towards him.

"No...Y/N don't come near here" he muttered to himself. Y/N was shaking as she saw his body cut in half, tears were escaping her eyes.

"No, no, this can't be, damn it! Satoru! Don't you dare die on me!" she panicked as she held his face and brushed his hair.

"Y/N...stop...go away..." he weakly mutters.

"No, Satoru, hang in there-"

"Y/N...if I die...please know that I love you"

"Damn it! Shut up! You're not going to die!"

"My, what a scene we have here, why do you have your woman here, sorcerer?" Y/N turned to look at Sukuna, and her vision suddenly went dark. She was enraged.

Not only he ruined Yuji's life, but also Megumi.

Y/N cursed in her mind. Gojo was already closing his eyes.

"So-rry" Gojo said weakly. "I..."

"No, Satoru please, hold on, I love you too okay? I only ever said that once to you, let me say that a thousand times, just please don't leave us"

"Why don't you join him as well? So you can have your own happily ever after together"

She glared at the king of curses who's smirking and looking down at them.

"Megumi, I know you're still in there. Don't let that curse take over you! Megumi! You can still redeem yourself! Fight back! We are here for you!" she shouted which only made him laugh out loud.

"That's so lame" he retorted."Your Megumi is gone"

Words could no longer describe the hatred Y/N had on Sukuna.

"Domain expansion: Blades of Belladona"

Sukuna was quite amused at how she tried fighting him, it lasted longer than he expected. Every thing and weapon lying around her domain are embued with cursed energy that she made poisonous, that an ordinary person and curse would die upon just being surrounded by those, and she made all the blades pierce through him. But it seems like he wasn't really affected, because he intends those attacks as a blow to Megumi's soul.

"You're only damaging Fushiguro's soul, haha!" He says and this made her suddenly stunned for a second, trying not to get affected by his words.

Yet when just as she was about to attack again, she fell on her knees as she she suddenly touched her throat.

"Oops" Sukuna then laughed out loud.

Y/N coughed blood as her domain crashed, she slowly turned her body and was now facing Gojo.

"S-satoru" Y/N still tried speaking despite it being so painful to speak. Y/N tried using her reversed curse technique to heal herself, but it's taking a while.

Or rather, her technique is no longer working. After all, Sukuna aimed to kill her in an instant. She was just trying her best to still hold on.

"Satoru, I...love you... even in another life, please... remember that" she tried reaching his face, but her arms were trembling and just fell down. Moving was too painful for her.

Y/N cursed herself for not even able to say those words earlier than yesterday.

This was her biggest regret in this life, that she only ever told him that she loves him when he came back, and now that he was dying in front of her. If she could only turn back time, she would've told it to him at every chance she could get.

A tear escaped from her eyes as she couldn't help but feel the regret and agony, not because of the pain she felt from Sukuna's slash, or that she is dying, but because of the regrets she had, and losing Gojo and everyone dear to her life.

Soon her eyelids just felt really heavy, and her body felt numb.

Everything just went black after that.

"Itadori"

The pink-haired boy looked up from the person who just came.

"Fushiguro" he smiled and waved at the raven-haired one.

"You came earlier than me" he said and put a flower basket down.

"Yeah" Itadori responded and looked at the grave. "It's been a year huh" he commented and Megumi just hummed.

"I wish I was the one who just died━"

"Hey dude, stop it already" Yuji retorted.

"What? I was the one who━"

"I said, stop it already! Y/N sensei and Gojo sensei would hate hearing that!"

Megumi suddenly zipped his mouth. It's been a year since Sukuna was finally gone and he miraculously got his body back. Y/N's words actually reached his soul back then, and that's when he was able to fight back. But when he did get his body back, it was all too late.

"Both of them wouldn't want you two to fight you know"

The two boys turned towards the person who just arrived.

"Shoko-san"

Shoko placed a flower basket as well. She just stared at two of the names engraved in one stone. They have decided to bury the two beside each other.

Shoko seemed calm and composed despite what happened for the past year, yet nobody knows the pain she also felt when she was the only one left. Especially when the fact that they were gone dawned over her when she took care of their bodies so that they won't turn into curses.

"Tsk, leaving me behind as always" she muttered.

"Megumi, your therapy sessions aren't finished yet, why did you stop coming?" Shoko asked the boy, yet he only looked away.

"You two, regret will only consume you if you let it eat you. You all know too well why there are curses right?" she sighed.

And the boys just nodded in response. "Yuta, Maki, Inumaki and Panda will be here soon too" Shoko said and pat their backs.

"It's difficult, but it's time for you to let it go"

After all, just as what Y/N always tell them...

"We can only move forward"

Wow, I have finally finished writing this story, I honestly don't know what to feel. I never thought I could finish this. But here we are. (Okay this is actually making me emotional 🥲).

I wanna blame Gege for hurting me and made me decide to write this. Lmao. (Gege when I catch you 😠)
