I started to hear laughing. I open my eyes and I was in a classroom. I had the rock in my hand and I keep my grip on it. On the chalkboard, there was a picture of a moon, a spaceship, and an astronaut. It was July 22 on a Tuesday. "I wish you'd come out and tell me already." I look at a desk and there were two people. Mr. Tsuchigomori and a boy that looked a bit like Hanako. Mr. Tsuchigomori was treating his wounds. "It's getting to be every day now. I want to know who's doing this to you. Yugi?" Mr. Tsuchigomori tried getting the boy to talk.
"Still not gonna say a word, huh? You've been the most stubborn kid here ever since your first year. Your bruises never get a chance to fade. You don't have any friends and you're afraid to go to class." Mr. Tsuchigomori looked at the boy. Yugi stared at the bandages. "Did you hear anything I said? Yugi Amane?" He tried getting his attention.
"Please just stop pressuring me, sir." The boy looked to the side. "You sound just like Hanako, too," I said out loud. I went closer to the scene. "That's no pressure. I care about you and you're worrying me a lot these days." Mr. Tsuchigomori confessed. "What is there to worry about? Some stupid bruises? I don't mind. Really." Yugi reassured the teacher. Mr. Tsuchigomori grabs Yugi's shoulders. "Well. I mind! I can't think of anything that could possibly justify someone hurting you like this!" Mr. Tsuchigomori shouted.
"I'm fine!" Yugi yelled. I flinched by putting my arms by my face. Mr. Tsuchigomori stepped back. "I don't care if it's not justified. Even if there's no reason at all. I don't mind it. Please believe me." The boy begged. "Hey, Mr. Tsuchigomori, do you want to know a secret?" Yugi asked. "I've got a moon rock!" The boy announced. "Kay?" The teacher sounded concerned. "I think I was about four years old when it fell out of the sky." Yugi was reaching in his pocket to find the stone.
"It landed right in front of me. You believe me, don't cha?" Yugi asked showing him. "Look at it. No, sorry I don't." Mr. Tsuchigomori confessed. "What?" I look closer. "I mean I could see it, it's just a bit dirty," I whispered. "That's fine. I didn't think you would and that's okay. We don't care what anyone thinks. We know it's real." Yugi said. "Who's we?" I asked knowing he can't hear me. "So you can say whatever you want but, I've got a moon rock," Yugi claimed. The boy laughed and went to the chalkboard. "Hey, have you ever wondered how far apart the moon and the Earth are?" Yugi writes on the board. "What is it?!" I run towards the board. "Well, the answer is 380'000 kilometers! So you know what that means?" He asked.
"This rock traveled all the way from the moon! Isn't that amazing?" Yugi shouted. "And now I have it!" He added. "That's fascinating but, we're not talking about the moon right now. We are trying to keep you safe." Mr. Tsuchigomori lectured. Yugi on the other hand was racing towards the window. He chuckles and his bandages were already falling apart. Mr. Tsuchigomori grumbled. "Mr. Tsuchigomori." He went to the window to admire the moon a bit closer. "Have you ever wanted to go to the moon?"
Mr. Tsuchigomori gasps. "I know I have. The moon is so big and beautiful." The boy lifts his hand so the rock is in the air. I climbed up the window too, avoiding touching the boy. "I know it has to be the perfect place." The boy leans on his toes. Mr. Tsuchigomori yelled and runs towards us. "Don't move!" He ordered. Yugi turns to the teacher and slaps his hand away. "No. Please, sir. Did you mean it when you said you cared about me?" Yugi asked. "I did." Mr. Tsuchigomori admitted. "Okay then. Can I please ask you a favor?" Yugi asked. Mr. Tsuchigomori smiled. "Of course." He told the boy.
"Thank you." He grinned. He took the teacher's hand and placed the rock in his palm. "Here. Take this." Yugi said. "I thought you loved this rock." Mr. Tsuchigomori mentioned. "Yeah. I do and whenever I look at it, I feel like it's telling me I can go anywhere I want. But the thing is, I've already decided that I never want to go anywhere ever again." He said. I could hear my voice while he said that even though I wasn't talking. "So it's pretty pointless for me to keep something like that around," Yugi said. The flashback was ending quickly. "I don't want to go," I muttered. "I don't want to leave!" I yelled.
I gasp and I open my eyes. "Where am I?" I asked instantly. "Oh, good. You're awake." Mr. Tsuchigomori said. "Was Yugi Hanako?" I asked. "Did he change his future?" I asked. "Yeah. Yugi Amane was who Number Seven used to be. It was the day before humanity went to the moon for the first time. Back in those days, it was just a dream. No one ever thought it would come true. But it did, which meant that nothing could be seen as impossible. Your dream could manifest no matter what it was. We could become anything we want to be. We could go anywhere we wanted to go. While society was filled with hope after traveling beyond the stars, he decided 'not to go anywhere'. As his homeroom teacher, I was worried about how his life would play out. At least, I pretended to be." He told me.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked. "I read the record of his future sometime prior. I would ask him what he wanted to be even though I knew his fate. To see if it lined up. His book said he would grow up to be a teacher, but he never voiced a desire. A science teacher. His love of the stars developed, and he eventually teach at this school. If he had lived, we would've been coworkers." Mr. Tsuchigomori chuckled and sighed. He covered his face with his hand. "It wasn't his time." He mumbled.
"What do you mean?" I asked. "He wasn't supposed to die like that... While he was still a kid. But, Yugi Amane is the only person I know who changed his future. I wish I had a more uplifting explanation. But the truth is, he said he didn't want to do more with his life, so he cut it short. He didn't want to leave, and he's still here and the Seventh of the Seven Wonders." He gets up out of his chair. "Well, that's all I can tell you for now. I'm sure I've already said too much. If you want to talk again later. I'm here." He said as he walked out. "I may not be human, but I'm still technically your teacher, whether you like it or not." He told me. "Don't worry about that part. You are my favorite teacher." I smiled.
He grinned and left. I sigh and I look outside the window. "The moon is pretty today," I noted. I realized I was in my normal clothes and I smiled. "Y/N-Chan!" Hanako jumps on top of me and hugs me tightly. 'He feels so cold...' I thought. "Calm down!" Kou said. "Yeah!" Yashiro backed him up. "Thanks for being amazing and breaking the Yorishiro! Everything's peaceful because of you!" Hanako told me. "Back off bro!" Kou whacked him in the head. I felt tears in my eyes and hug him back tightly. "What's the matter Y/N?" Yashiro asked. "Yeah, did something happen? Everything okay?" Hanako rubs my back.
I wanted to cry but I didn't want him to make fun of me. "Hey, don't cry. Please don't cry. I'm right here." Hanako told me. "Hey, Y/N. I think it's time to go home for today." Yashiro said while pulling me towards her. "Aww, you aren't staying with me tonight? I would love to see you with me before I go to sleep." He mentioned. He tried touching my face but Kou hit him in the head again. "No not tonight Hanako. I'm going to go home. Maybe tomorrow though." I smiled. His expression saddened but he smiled anyway. "Okay."
"Well, I'm going to go home. See you guys tomorrow." Kou left. Yashiro started to leave too. "Wait up!" I yelled. Before I left Hanako hugged me from behind. "Are you okay?" He whispered in my ear. "Why are you whispering in my ear Hanako?" I asked. "Did Mr. Tsuchigomori tell you something too personal?" He asked. "No. He didn't do anything Hanako, relax." I assured him. "Okay. See you tomorrow." He let me go. "Should I ask you if you are okay?" I looked at him. "Why would I not be okay?" He asked.
"I don't know but I got to leave. Don't miss me too much." I smiled. "Don't worry. I won't." He told me. I giggle and I kiss his cheek. "See you tomorrow." I left the flustered boy in the nurse's office.

"His name was Yugi Amane?" Yashiro asked. Her hair was in ponytails I put up for her while mine was in a normal hairstyle. "Yeah! I also found out he gets bullied or abused or something. He had bruises everywhere! And guess what?" I told her. "What? What happened?" She was basically leaning off her bed. "He was the only one who changed their future. Only by killing himself though." I added. She started choking on her water and I pat her back. "You okay?!" I started to freak out a bit. "That was so sudden Y/N-Chan!" She complained. "Sorry." I chuckled. "It breaks my heart to find out he did that," Yashiro said. "I can't blame him though," I confessed.
"What do you mean by that?" Yashiro asked. "We should head to sleep." I changed the topic. "Okay. I guess." She slips into her bed and I lay down. "Goodnight!" I smiled. "Goodnight," Yashiro replied. I close my eyes and I fall into a nice sleep.
