"I-Is that the new game your company has been making?" I ask as soon as Natsume enters the apartment holding onto a CD case.

"Ah, yeah it is" Natsume asks "Want to test it out? It's two players so I'll have to play with you, if you don't mind"

"Ah I don't mind at all!" I say flapping my hands about.

He chuckles and sits down beside me "Let's put it in"

"Yes" I nod once.

Natsume puts in the CD after switching on the TV and passes me a controller. 

Natsume sits beside me and becomes control of the game for the moment to set it up quicker. Cho decides to slowly lay in my lap and go to sleep while Tsubaki and Azusa decide to curl up on the sofa.

This is what the kind of world I would like to live in everyday, but I haven't gone to school for a while and my mum is trying to get a hold of me. Ema has tried calling too but I do not answer the phone.

"You should start thinking about college" Natsume says out of the blue as we start the game my thumbs clicking on loads of buttons.

"I know" I say barely in the whisper.

"Any ideas on what you want to do?" Natsume asks and quickly fires at a zombie and easily misses but I shoot again and kill it in a second.

"Not really" I say "I mean I love computer games, but I'm not so sure on what to do with that idea" 

"You could design games" Natsume suggests.

"I cannot do that, I have no artistic skills, my art level is really bad..." I sigh and dodge a zombie attack.

"What level are you on?"

"B-" 

"That isn't so bad"

"It was bad enough for my mum to yell at me saying I need to try harder..." I whisper.

Natsume pauses the game and turns to me "You shouldn't listen to her." 

"She's my mum. Of course I listened to her." I sigh and press 'play'.

Natsume presses pause again and takes the controller out of my hands and puts it down.

"She's not here now." Natsume says.

"She might turn up..."

"That's unlikely. Chiyo..."

"D-Don't..." I blush looking away.

"L-Look at me Chiyo." Natsume tells me and I look.

He grabs my hand and leans in close so our lips almost touch which makes me feel scared but the doorbell goes off which makes Natsume pull away and rush over to the door.

"WHERE'S MY GIRL!?" A woman cries.

Standing up I walk over to the door to find my mum standing there arms folded yelling at Natsume. Once she spots me her face lights up and she rushes over to me hugging me tightly.

"Chiyo!" She sobs "I've been worried sick about you! Oh, darling. Come home." She tells me holding my hands.

"Home." I repeat her words.

"Yes. Home." She smiles and starts pulling me towards the door.

"No." I say and pull my hands away from her "No. I'm staying here."

She looks at me angrily "Did you just tell your own mother 'no'?"

"Yes." I nod once.

"Chiyo. I can take this man to jail!" She yells pointing to Natsume "I don't know what kind of relationship you two have, but I'm not accepting it!"

"I'm old enough to make my own disions mum!" I yell back.

"CHIYO!" She screams at me "You haven't gone to school for ages!!"

"So what?! I'm getting A-B grades in almost everything!" 

My mother slaps me heard across the face "I won't have my own daughter treat me this way! If you want to live here then do it! Your no longer my daughter!"

She walks out, I hear her high heels clacking against the floor, echoing. But soon it all disappears and I lean against the wall and slide down it, the tears spilling.

"Chiyo." Natsume looks at me frowning and goes onto his knees in front of me "I'll always be here for you."

"Promise?" I ask almost choking on my tears.

"Forever and always." He whispers into my ear.

I can tell you next chapter is probably the last chapter and I might to a epilogue. And I can also tell you I might do anothor BroCon fanfic which I might have more passion on.
