Gloves' POV

The couch from team cyan was big enough for four inklings, and as the girls decided to do something for themselves alone, we boys were complete. Designer Headphones, Mask, Half-Rimz and me.

It's been awhile since I was in Mask's house, so I looked around, as if it was new to me. Some things even changed, but of course the main spot was the same.

The gamer corner with the multiple games, which they own.

It's massive, but with the thought that this team is the real gamer dream team, it was obvious, why they had so many stuff about this topic. They had litarelly each device four times, and whenever I visited the team, at least someone was gaming. Kinda unsocial, but at least they were okay with that. Gaming is part of their life and therefore I didn't blame them at all.

We all stared at the TV and watched, how Mask started the switch, after he mentioned the game which he wanted to play.

At the beginning I was suprised about the flex from annoyed into nice, but meanwhile I could understand it.

Whenever Mask is mad or sad, gaming was the only cure for him. He told me this many times, and as it came into my head, I shook my head fast, because it was a shame, that I forgot this for a short time. It was such an important info about him, beside that he suffer under hay fever, but oh well ... unfortunately it happened, even if it was 'only' for a short time. Luckily, it wasn't noticeable.

"What will the girls do?" I asked curious to Mask and looked back to the two ladies.

"Oh, don't worry about them. They're happy. Trust me. Now I want to see you play my self-built course" he mumbled loudly and put the game in. I gulped and thought back into the past, when I gamed last time, and couldn't remember it. It must be a long time ago, that I didn't succeed with that, and came into sweating, when I grabbed the device, for controling the TV.

I chose the game which Mask wanted and then, as he leaded me to his first built level, I tried to play the thing with high concentration through.

[Y/N]'s POV

I beated Mask from the S4 but somehow he didn't accept it and was rather like a sore loser. We lost therefore our fourth member to try my first round of league, and so we were supposed to find a new one.

Gloves and Half-Rimz didn't give up so easily though and went away without me to get him back.

Time passed and all what I did, was standing a bit in the inkopolis square. Alone, with some squids next to the shops. It felt empty and it seemed like bringing Mask back would be harder than I thought. Gloves cammanded me to stay here, so I didn't go after them. I followed my leaders' words and wiped my thoughts of helping them away.

I didn't even know if I'd be great enough help, so maybe to wait here was either way a better idea.

I waited and waited and got bored. I had to do something, which could deal with me, so I looked around. Unfortunately I was too scared to try some stuff out without my two main supporters, so I kept being busy with nothing. I actually decided then to go away, for a short walk, but just as I wanted to leave the square, someone hold me back on purpose.

"Hey you. Are you [Y/N]?" a male voice asked behind me in a very kind way but didn't let me go by holding my wrist out of nowhere.

I turned around and looked into the boy's eyes really confused, because I never saw him before, even though he knew my name. He wore sunglasses and had purple tentacles. The rest of his gear I couldn't recognize and stayed confused by his apperance. I had no clue who that was and what he wanted, but I didn't make a bitchy move and ran away. I just froze and stayed patient.

"Being silent seems like a yes to you, huh? Well, somebody waits eagerly for you at the squid café there. Trust me" he smiled and pointed to a building with some chairs outside, which were all not occupied yet. The unknown guy pushed me into this direction and without having the courage to ask some questions, I let him guide me.

I entered the café which I just noticed thanks to the unknown guy, because from outside it seemed like a private house, but as I was inside, the situation was different.

With an opened jaw I admired the café, because something big like this I've never seen before. The counter was so wide like all the shops together and I saw around three workers at once. The café was full and it hardly had any free places to sit at.
As I analyzed everything more clearly though, I recognized one spot, which was free. And that was one, where at the opposite bench a hodded male inkling sat, who was hardly recognizable.

Was maybe he the one, who wanted to talk to me or what?
Well, it existed only one way to find that out, and that was trying it out.
I headed to the bench of this hooded inkling and sat without asking at the other side of him.
He put his hood down and smiled.

"Hey, [Y/N]. I knew we would see us again" he chuckled and was definitely happy, that everything apparently worked how he wanted.

"Skull?? What the hell are you doing here?" I asked so shocked, that I almost yelled it out loud. Luckily though, I remembered just in time, that we were sitting in a café, around many other squids and octolings, that I hold it successfully back.

"Shh! Don't be so loud!" he hissed and took his bandana off.

"I'm sorry .." I apologized, leaned back but after a short break, I almost leaned over the whole desk.

"Skull. Why are you here, and why me? And especially, who was that?" I asked confused and pointed into the direction, where more or less the unknown guy stood. Since I knew Skull more than him, I wanted to understand this situation here, because I didn't see through anything of this certain plan, to have me here, alone with Skull.

"Chill, [Y/N]. Hold on. Lemme explain everything to ya" he begged nicely and laughed a bit at my reaction, which sounded pretty muddled-up.
I calmed down and let him time. Before he started though, I saw how someone else suddenly came between of us.

"Oh, hello Skull. What should I bring for you today, huh? A giant loli?" the inkling asked and then I noticed, that he was just the waiter, who apparently ignored me, till he had his eyes on me.

"Oh.. seems like you already have one. I'll just give you two the thing what you wanted me to bring" the waiter winked and left us confused, while I just blushed out of embarrassment.

Skull chuckled slightly as he saw my face and watched the guy, till he left in a private room, only for the staff.
Skull asked with some hand moves after my attention and wanted me to forget this dude, who just said I'm a loli in his sight. A bit too brave for someone who just met me for the first time, so I started to dislike him, being relieved that he went off though.

"So. This guy from before was one of my teammates. Aviators. He's a great boy. And what we do here is called... a date. No hard feelings, but I was angry when Gloves interrupted us by the Morey Towers. That's why I sent him. He was just here to avoid, bringing him with you to me. That's all" he explained and with one of his elbow, he leaned on the table, slowly starting to make some flirty moves.

I blushed and couldn't believe his words.
Apparently my wish came true.
Not even I but also Skull himself had interests for more than a simple friendship between of us. I was like wow... am I in heaven?

Well, it seems so, huh .-.

Anyways, he just stared at me and I at him. I was lost for words, until the dude from before came, which I highly disliked.
He apparently had something for us and indeed, it was something special.

A giant bowl with several scoops of ice cream. The colorful tower made a great appearance and would definitely be a photo worth it.
I took my phone out, made quickly one and saw then, that I even had Skull in the background, without his bandana.
Just with the look at this cute, gloomy inkling made me melt and I already saw us getting married.
I was crazy in my mind and couldn't stop thinking about him, even if he was just some steps away from me.
My eyes turned into hearts and at least around that moment, I knew I had a huge crush on him. It was real love. I loved him, but we weren't together yet unfortunately. This was just the beginning.

My first date. With Skull, in a café, eating some ice cream.

It was lovely and a beautiful moment. I wished that Gloves would never find me, but if so, he'll hopefully let me alone with him.

I looked around and took a short moment to take a look outside, but nobody, who looks like Gloves or Half-Rimz was there. Luckily for me.

I was totally in heaven and couldn't believe my luck. After I placed my phone again away, I took my spoon and slowly helped him to eat the huge bowl up.

Silently I only heard the sound of licking and eating the ice up, and enjoyed the moment, being close by him without a single interruption.

I hoped to have the chance to talk to him later, but now we had to concentrate on the ice cream. So far it was delicious and we didn't even reach half of it. Seemed like Skull liked that, and because of another information about him, I thought of knowing him better and better.
I guess soon, I'll have to open myself and will probably confess my feelings for him to 100 percentages, since it got confirmed that he wouldn't reject.
This made me happy and therefore I just couldn't stop smiling, while eating on efficient.

[???]'s POV

I walked together with my teammates along the street but as I had some inklings in my sight of view, I recognized two of them.
I stopped walking and started through the window to the two, while my teammates behind me almost bumped into my back one after another.

"Huh?? [Y/N] with Skull?? Fools.. I guess I'll destroy their sweet moments and won't alow to get them together even more. Seems like Skull finally made his step, but he'll learn that it's not so easy to get someone so fast" I thought out loud evilly and rubbed my hands like a crazy doctor. I noticed it but only then, as I saw my teammates' concerned looks and stopped with it, being myself again.

"C'mon guys. It's time for a break" I said to them and leaded them in the direction entrance of the inkopolis square café.

They nodded with a shrug and followed me delayed like good soldiers as always.
