After the battle of the abyss, the vessels went their separate ways, to stay hidden. They were no doubt, being hunted by the king's mercenaries. Inge travelled across Hallownest, searching for other vessels to help. They rarely find any, but when they do, they made a positive difference in that vessel's life.

Viderin returned to the mantis village. They were welcomed back, and knew that no mercenary of the king would dare set foot here. They live their life slower now. They only draw their nail when necessary, and mostly just enjoy being a member of the exclusive mantis community.

Margruth returned to Sheo to continue their training. Under his teachings, Margruth learned the great slash, and became a formidable swordsman. As well as that, Margruth also continues to practice their artistic abilities, much to Sheo's enjoyment. Sheo couldn't be more proud of his prized pupil.

Mala returned to the soul sanctum. While there, they learned many spells and tricks. Mala also looks for those they can help, but like Inge, they rarely find any. One day, many years in the future, Mala went to visit Ogrim, whom they had befriended. The flukes were going crazy. But they weren't after Mala. Wait. They were after two vessels! They recognized one of them. It was the same vessel Mala believed to be hollow. They had to step in and help.

And just like that, SLASH comes to a close. I hope you guys enjoyed this story. I don't really know what else to say, so I'll just tell you that I'm going to start working on Vessel full time again. See you soon!
