IT WAS AROUND 2 AM WHEN Y/N GOT BACK TO HER HOUSE. All the lights were turned off other than the porch light that stays on until she gets home.

Y/n always comes home late at night because no one cares. She wished she didn't have as much freedoms as she did.

What she wanted most in the world was one person who cared for her like an actual parent. Someone who could help her with her boy problems and teach her life lessons...

She walked to the front door and quietly walked inside, making sure she didn't wake anyone. The footsteps she made were as light as feathers.

When y/n finally made it to her room she plopped stomach down on her twin sized bed and laid there. Her breath went in and out of the mattress.

Without looking she slipped off the skirt from her bottom leaving her in the sweater and a pair of spandex.

"Y/n... you there?" Someone quietly whispered.

Looking over her shoulder, y/n saw the door slowly open to Haru and Ryuu. They were both dressed in sleepwear for the night.

"You guys ok? What are you doing up?" Y/n asked. They walked into her room then sat onto her small bed.

In the house y/n had the smallest room along with the smallest bed. Her foster parents didn't feel like buying new stuff for her once she moved in.

"We wanted to know how your date went." Haru calmly asked while petting Ryuu's red hair. He sleepily nodded his head to the statement.

"One, it wasn't a date. Two, it went really well. I'm happy I went..." y/n trailed off her sentence.

Haru caught onto this and asked what she was gonna say.

"But... I kissed him on the cheek. Now I think I ruined the whole thing we had going on!" She flopped onto her bed belly first again.

The brunette laughed at her foster sister. "Y/n when I had a boyfriend I kissed him first. It's just something we do, and if you ruined it that's his problem." She looked over to Ryuu to find him sleeping on her shoulder.

"You're right. Now put Ryuu to sleep, he seems kinda tired if you can't tell."

And within the second the two were gone leaving y/n to her thoughts. Her mind wandered as she fell asleep in her bed not bothering to even get ready.

The next morning she woke to the smell of her foster sisters cooking.

Y/n always loved the way Haru would make breakfast in the morning, especially on weekends.

She threw on a pair of sweatpants paired with a oversized shirt and walked down to the kitchen.

The smell of a traditional American breakfast made its way to her nose. A soft aroma of bacon and eggs with French toast made her mouth water.

She found Ryuu and Haru already there sitting with her foster parents as well. "Good morning." She greeted with a monotoned voice.

"Morning y/n." Haru smiled to her along with a wave from Ryuu. "Come and sit! We've got bacon."

Y/n nodded her head and found a seat next to her foster bother.

Across the table her foster parents talked with Haru about school and club activities. They've usually prioritized Haru more than y/n and Ryuu.

She was there the longest time before them. Ryuu second then y/n third.

This was how it always was. And because Haru would be would be 18 soon... that would leave them alone.

"Y/n how's the skatepark? I bet you've been showing those boys who's boss huh?!" Y/n heard.

"Oh right. I'll be going to the skatepark. I'll be back later."

Her foster parents looked away from Haru to y/n with a surprised expression. The tension was thick between the three.

"You're not going anywhere." The foster father stated. "How come you're just telling this to us? We need to hear about this days in advanced and you know that."

"What are you talking about? I tell you everyday, you just never listened!"

There an argument began.

Yelling back and forth between the three. Somewhere in the middle Haru took Ryuu upstairs to his room to keep him away.

Thankfully nothing physical ever happens in the house and never will. There was nothing thrown and no one touched the other.

Y/n was only sent to her room for the night, but it didn't stop her from changing out of her night clothes and sneaking away from the house she would call hell.

A place where she never wanted to step foot in ever again, but that would never happen...

Would it?

Here's a little peak on how your home life is. I honestly don't feel very comfortable with writing household abuse but there are other things I'm alright with. And another things if there are many foster homes that are amazing, this is a hard job and a lot of people are great with it.
Love you
