"But how did you escape from the kidnappers?" suddenly Siddharth realized and looked questiongly at Roshni.

[FLASHBACK: The goons had brought Roshni to a closed factory. She was forced to get out of the car. Her legs were aching as it wasn't healed properly yet. They took out the cloth from her eyes and pushed her to sit on the ground. Out of the blue, behind a pillar not far away from where she was sitting she saw Yash peeping. He had followed her from the hospital. Yash signals her to keep quiet and tells her to relax as he will rescue her in sometime. Meanwhile, the goons received a video call from RV, as per RV's instruction they put the phone in front of Roshni. Roshni sees RV on the screen; he was beaming with happiness and had a smirk on his face. All of a sudden she realized that Siddharth must be with him.

"Arre yaar Roshni, how could you marry such a stubborn man! Since when I am telling him to sign the papers and give me his share of the company but he isn't listening! He hates me right? Maybe that is why he isn't listening to me! Why don't you tell him to sign the papers and make all this very easy for me? C'mon babe, just tell him once!" RV said in a heinous tone.

RV moves the camera, finally she sees Siddharth. He was beaten up badly. Blood was flowing down his nose, and his eyes were swollen up. "What did you do Siddharth!" she thought. Both of them look at each other with fear in their eyes, not for themselves but for the other.

"Roshni... Oh gosh.. I am so sorry.. Shit.. All this is my fault.." he sobbed.

"No.. Siddharth.. No.. Please don't apologize.. Whatever happens Sid.. Remember that I love you.. Always have and always will..." she weeped seeing him in that condition.

"I love you too, baby.." he touches the screen.

RV started saying something and Siddharth's attention was distracted. At that moment, Roshni saw Yash taking down one of the kidnappers by hitting on his head hard with a stick and silently moving him behind the pillar. Yash signaled Roshni to be quiet. The other goon failed to notice Yash as he was facing Roshni and Yash was behind him.

Roshni looked at the screen; she could see Siddharth had given up hope.

"SIDDHARTH, LISTEN TO ME!" she screamed.

He looked at the screen. He was confused. Roshni had to indicate to him somehow that everything would be fine. She said tenaciously,

"You will not sign the papers!! You absolutely cannot do that to Papa!! I'm warning you Siddharth if you sign those papers, this time I will leave you and never return! Trust me Siddharth for once please!" She looked up at Yash who gave her an affirmation that he would strike in the count of 5. She nodded slightly not revealing her intentions to the goon facing her.

"Siddharth you promised me you won't do anything stupid..." she started but someone took the Ipad in Siddharth's end as she could not see him anymore. RV's man took out his gun, but Yash hit him hard on his head and he passed out, the Ipad fell on the ground with the screen facing the ground.

Roshni was about to say something but Yash held her mouth closed, he picked up the gun and shot in the air once. He threw the gun aside, and bent down to untie Roshni's hands. A few minutes later, the thug's cell phone started ringing. Yash picked it up once he saw that RV was calling. RV asked him arrogantly that whether the work was done or not. Yash replied in a heavy voice that it was done.

Roshni got up instantly, and started to walk. Her feet was paining very badly and she was about to fall. Yash holds her and says,

"Roshni!! What are you doing? You are hurt!! What is all this? Why did Rajveer kidnap you?"

"Yash, Please!! There is absolutely no time left to talk about all this! I have to find Siddharth, his life is in danger!!"

"Roshni, But you and Siddharth? I don't understand!" he insisted as he wanted to know.

"Siddharth is my husband, Yash!! I love him. This is all I can say right now. I have to save him.."she said and started walking outside.

Yash followed her and said, "Roshni wait! I am coming with you!"

Both of them get inside the car. Yash says, "But where is Siddharth? How will we find him?"

Roshni looked at him and then she remembered something,

"Yash in the video, It looked like a construction site or something coz there were partially constructed buildings at the background and.. and I saw some banner too... it was.. umm.. I think.. it was Malhotra Constructions, Sector 5.. something?!"

"Okay, Roshni relax!!" said Yash. He calls up his PA and instructs him to find the address and report urgently. He puts his hand on top of Roshni's to assure her everything will be sorted out. Roshni hesitantly removes her hand and blurts out her feelings in front of him as she could not lie any further.

"Yash I am sorry, but I love Siddharth. We were not fighting these past few days; we were just pretending to fight! Whatever you think about Siddharth is totally a misconception! You have never heard my side of the story have you? You just know the half biased truth that my mom has told you! Do you remember the college days? You always listened to me over my mom! You always took my side! You were my best friend! Best friend always take your side no matter what, right?" she asked him persistently.

Yash was taken aback with her question. He did not know how to respond. His phone rings and he gets an address of the construction site which was not far away. He starts driving. Roshni was no longer waiting for an answer from him because she was restless. She was restless to see Siddharth.

"Oh God! Saari duniya ki traffic aaj hi milni hai kya!! Please God let Siddharth be safe!" she prayed out loud.

Yash was contemplating what Roshni asked him earlier. She was correct. Whatever he knew about Siddharth was from her mother. Roshni never spoke about what happened between her and Siddharth ever. Being a good friend to her, he too never asked about Siddharth as he knew she loved him and it would hurt her to speak about him. Whenever he used to speak ill about Siddharth in front of her in those six months she never replied back. He now realized that all the time when Roshni kept quiet was because she loved him. She came back to India in an instant when she heard that Siddharth had met with an accident. In the wedding ceremony, when Siddharth had put sindoor and he was about to remove it, she stopped him. Why? Because she loved him still. He started feeling guilty that how could he be so blind to not see things clearly. How he got so blinded with his love for Roshni that he ignored her feelings completely? If he were her best friend then he should have understood her feelings towards him and Siddharth. He should have trusted her words rather than her mom's regarding Siddharth when she was leaving her home. Roshni never told him that she loved him instead she always considered him as her best friend. Roshni never retaliated with his marriage proposal because she just wanted to end the Siddharth chapter of her life. But she could never end him in her heart. He was ashamed of himself that he totally destroyed the beautiful friendship that they had because he got selfish in his love.

His trance got broken when they reached the construction site. Roshni ran out of the car towards the site. He followed her. They saw that RV had a gun pointing at Siddharth. Immediately Roshni took a brick from the ground in her hand and threw it at RV. He dropped down unconscious. She ran towards Siddharth instantly.

Yash started recollecting the drunken night that he had spent with Siddharth when he did not know who he was. He started remembering how Siddharth was hurt in his love and all his words regarding his wife. Suddenly, he saw that another goon was going to attack Siddharth and Roshni and he ran to save them.]

"I cannot get hold of Aunty's phone! There is no signal here now!" said Yash coming towards them.

"Arre don't worry, I know how to handle sasumom. Pareshaan ho rahi hongi na? Toh kya hua? Aaj ek do logo ko thappad par jaenge buss!" Siddharth replied jokingly.

"Siddharth!! Why do you have to say these things about Mom!" Roshni retaliated.

"Ohho.. When she say things about me tab kuch nahi? Dhanya hogaya hoga unlogo ka din jisne aaj DD Patel se thappad khaya hoga! Main toh unki tareef kar raha hu.." he winked at her.

Roshni again smacks him on his shoulders.

"Arre?? Pati bhagwan ka roop hota hai, usse maar rahi ho? Acha baba fine, you can hit me as much as you like.. I can be anything for you, a cushion or a punching bag!"

He pulls her towards him and smiles. She too gets hooked onto his eyes and for a moment they forget that they were not alone.

Yash clears his throat. Roshni immediately removes Siddharth's hand from her waist and steps back, settling her hair.

"Hey bhagwan! Mere life mein waise hi romance ke hitler kum the kya, ki aapne iss champu ko itni dur se bhej dia aur siyape karne ke liye?" he murmurs inaudibly.

"Don't worry Sid, main aur siyape nahi karunga!" replied Yash playfully.

Siddharth and Roshni looked at him questiongly.

"Firstly, I would like to apologize to you Sid! Even after the warnings that you gave me that I will be heartbroken at the end I totally ignored you. I never tried to understand your love for Roshni because all I could think of was my future with her. My happiness. And in that process I overlooked that you were meant to be with each other. Your love is pure and you are lucky that you are with a person who loves you as much as you love the other. I am really very sorry for creating so many hurdles in your life.. Especially you, Roshni. You are my best friend. I value our friendship the most. For some time I had forgotten the meaning of friendship but I have realized it now and I will live happily live as your best friend rather than nothing."

"I am sorry too Yash for misleading you! I ..." she was interrupted by Yash.

"Please don't apologize and make me feel guilty further. Waise bhi friendship mein no sorry, no thank you, right?" he smiled.

Roshni hugs Yash and thanks him for saving their lives. Siddharth too hugs Yash and pats him on his back.

"Thanks yaar for everything! For saving my life" he looks at Roshni "You can ask me for anything today I will happily give it to you!" said Siddharth cheerfully.

"Really?" asked Yash and looked playfully at Roshni. She gave him a surprised look. "Well in that case, I would love to hear all the stories and the blunders that Roshni must have done when you were married!"

Siddharth laughs and replies,

"Arre baapre... Tab toh 100 saal lag jaenge stories khatam karte karte!! Bata dunga sab.. par mujhe bhi college life ki stories batani paregi tumhe!!"

Yash nods a yes to him. He gives a high five to Yash. Roshni crosses her hands and looks at them unbelievingly.

"Agar tum dono ka bromance ka chapter khatam ho gaya ho toh chale ghar?" she said irritably.

"Kyun baby? Are you jealous? Acha fine we will continue our talks later on! Let's go." said Siddharth.

Yash and Siddharth walks forward. Roshni moves her right leg and whimpers in pain. Immediately, Siddharth comes by her side and holds her. He lifts her off her feet into his hands.

"What are you doing?" she asks him looking embarrassed with Yash's presence.

"You won't be able to walk! And we have to reach home today." he replied calmly ignorant of her shyness.

"Umm.. I will leave then. Do you want me to drop you off?" he asked Siddharth.

"No, I have my car here. We will manage. Waise bhi abhi bhi bohot hungama hona baaki hai." he replied.

Yash leaves bidding goodbye. Siddharth carries Roshni and walks towards his car. Roshni encircles her hands around his neck as soon as Yash leaves.

"I love you Siddharth" she whispered and rests her head on his chest. He beams with happiness and continues walking.
