Anika's pov

Did whatever I heard was true? Seriously I can't believe this. Shivay claimed sahil as an oberoi. He called him as his son cum brother. He accepted this before everyone. I thought he is helping me in sahil's custody case because he want to impress me but today I realized he is not doing all this for me.

He is doing all this for sahil's welfare. I never had a slightest idea that shivay will change like this. The man who believed in naam, khoon and khandhan now accepted sahil as his family.

Yes you may think he is illegitimate but it's not true. Kamini lied to Shakthi Uncle and pinky aunty but it's not true. Shivay is not illegitimate. At the time of shivay's birth pinky aunty gave birth to twins but she kidnapped the kids and lied to Shakthi Uncle that they are her children. Shivay told me about this on the day of his arrival. That's why he still address himself as shivay Singh oberoi.

" Good evening to everyone present here. We welcome you to celebrate family day on behalf of our school management. You may wonder why we are celebrating this day. Everyone may think they usually stay with their children so what's the need for all this.

Well too answer your questions I want to first tell everyone that the main aim of this event is to bring parents and children close to each other. In our busy life schedule we barely get time to spend with our children. They long for your love and care. We are having a night out program exclusively for your wards. So tonight they will not be staying with you. So we request all the parents to spend their night in your allotted rooms. " Sahil, take care and sleep on time. Does stress your leg too much. Take care. Good night", Anika hugged her little brother.

" Didi don't worry I will sleep on time", sahil assured her.

" Good night sahil. Have a great night with your friends", shivay wished.

" Thank you jiju. Good night. Let's see in morning", sahil wished the duo and left from there.

At shivika's room

Shivay's pov

Why I feel Anika want to say something to me? Why she is looking restless? She was all happy after seeing sahil. But I don't know what happened now. If I ask her she will definitely not tell me. I think she need some time.

Anika's pov

I don't know how to face shivay. Once again I feel the same feeling which I felt when shivay announced me as his wife before the world. It was a memorable day for me. He called me as his strength and pride. Today I feel like he is not shivay Singh oberoi but only anika's shivay. Once again my feelings are rebuked.

The weather was quite beautiful. The sky was filled with stars and moon.
Shivay settled himself on a sofa placed in balcony. He laid down on it and covered himself with a duvet. He was lost in a world of emotions till he sensed anika near him.

His Anika sense meter worked perfectly whenever she was around and it never failed him. He turned around and saw Anika. She was wearing a white chudithar which she always used to wear when she was in oberoi mansion. She was looking so beautiful in it.

Shivay saw her standing reluctantly. He made a space for her in sofa near him. She went near to him and laid down beside him. He covered both of them with duvet.

She kept her head on his chest. Her one arm wrapped around his shoulder and her leg entangled with his.

Shivay held her protectively in his embrace. His one arm covered her waist while the other one caressed her hairs.

Anika took a deep breath and continued

" Shivay, have you ever wondered why there are so many stars in the sky?", She questioned him.

" No Anika", he said.

" It's because whenever you miss your loved ones they always visit you in the form of stars", she smiled weakly.

" Anika I know you are hiding your pain from me. I won't promise you that all your pain will vanish if you share your worries with me. But I promise you we will face it together. No matter what you will feel better when you share your problems with someone", he tried to convince her.

" You are right shivay. Sometimes we need someone to share our worries. I don't remember anything about my parents. Sometimes I used to get nightmares about my family but I couldn't clearly identify their faces. I had a sister her name was chutki but she  was also snatched away from me.

From childhood I always wished to stay with a family but it never happened. When sahil's parents adopted me from that orphanage which is much worse than a hell, I felt blessed. I thought all my problems will come to an end. But I was wrong. God again took my happiness away. Sahil's parents died in a car accident. Sahil was very young at that time.

His bua didn't accept his responsibility. She had her eyes on sahil's property. I lost my chutki but I vowed to protect sahil. I want to give him all happiness in this world. And then you came into my life. You gave me a family but again I lost my loved ones. I never deserve happiness shivay. All I deserve is sadness", Anika started to cry.

Shivay rubbed her tears away. He gently kissed her forehead.

" Anika please don't cry. You know na I hate to see tears in your eyes. We both are sailing in same boat Anika. You suffered because you didn't have a family and I suffered because I had a family. From childhood I was trained to be an oberoi. I never lived a normal life.

I always craved for my parents love but they were busy in their own world. Only omru and dadi supported me. I always had a great interest on cooking. In fact I wanted to be an international chef.

But fate again played with me. When I was 22 we had a big problem in oberoi mansion. In my generation no one was ready to take care of business. Om wanted to be an artist and rudra was not mature enough to handle business. I was left with no choice. I started my career in oberoi industries.

Although I was not happy at the first I wished omru to pursue their careers that's why I sacrificed my dreams. Slowly I became a robot. From childhood my mother taught me blood lineage is more important. Because of that preaching I slowly started to hate people who lacked naam, khoon and khandhan.

And then you entered in my life. I never saw anyone like you till date and I am sure in future also I will not find anyone like you. You always cared for me. I was a beast to you but you are my beauty. You sacrificed your image for me. You want my life to be filled light so you entered into darkness. I am sorry Anika for all my deeds. I won't ask for your forgiveness because you have all the right to hate this beast", he said looking at her with tears in his eyes.

Anika gently caressed his cheeks and looked at him lovingly. She wondered how this bhagad billa changed into emotional Singh oberoi.

Shivay looked at her in amusement. She looked into his eyes and said

" Shivay we both are broken souls. Time is the best medicine for any pain. At first I use to worry if something happens to me then who will take care of sahil. But now I don't because I know he is under the protection of shivay Singh oberoi.

Now no one can mess with him. I am very tired shivay. I fought too much in my life. I am tired of challenges and struggle. I have no responsibility. Since you will take care of sahil I wish to di...", She was stopped in middle as shivay kept his finger on her lips. She looked at him.

His face radiated anger but his eyes was filled with tears.

" Don't you dare say that Anika. You don't have any right on your life. You can never leave me all alone in this world again. If you wish to do it then don't forget I will die before you.

Do you remember what I said to you? Before something happens to you I will die but shivay Singh oberoi will not die so easily. Do remember this I will never let anything happen to you. So never ever repeat those words again", he tried to keep his voice steady but Anika could sense his pain.

She felt guilty for hurting him.

" Shivay, I am sorry I never meant to hurt you. I was just talking in a flow. I am sorry again", she apologized.

" It's okay Anika I understand.
Sometimes we feel like it would be better if we die. But whenever you think like this just remember sahil's face. I can give him everything in this world but he will never be happy without you. Our family is incomplete without you", shivay said emotionally.

Anika felt shivay was right. No matter what sahil will be unhappy without her. She doesn't want him to suffer the same fate like her. Sahil deserves a family and she will give it to him.

" Shivay, can I ask you something?",
Anika said nervously.

" Haan anika", he said.

" I want to forget everything shivay. I want to live happily at least for few minutes. I want to forget every bitter thing that happened between us. I want to cherish all our good memories. I don't want to feel alone", she said her wish.

Shivay got up from the sofa. He looked at Anika deeply. He suddenly lifted her in his arms. Anika didn't protest. He made his way towards the bed. He placed her on bed as if she was a flower petal.

He was on top of her. He slowly leaned forward and kissed her. Anika too reciprocated the kiss with equal passion. She pulled him closer.

They kissed each other so deeply and passionately. Shivay caressed her body. They broke their kiss due to lack of oxygen.

He kept her hands on his shirt. She unbuttoned his shirt with her trembling hands. He removed his shirt and threw it in a corner of room. Anika caressed his abs. She placed a kiss on his chest.

Both of them were lost in the moment. Shivay reached her neck and started to kiss it. She moaned his name. It was becoming difficult for him to control his emotions. He took her hand in his and kissed it. That's when he noticed their engagement ring in her hand. He felt happy that she still loves him but his brain reminded him something.

Shivay's pov

I can't do this. I hurt her too much. I can't let this happen in this way. She is emotionally broken and I need to support her. She is my wife but I want to start our relationship on a new note. I want to give her all happiness. First I need to win her heart and trust again. She is the queen of my heart. It's my duty to protect her from all problems.

Shivay suddenly stopped kissing He got up from the bed.

" I am sorry Anika. I shouldn't have kissed you without your permission. I will wait for you till you accept me with all your heart", shivay said sincerely and went to rest room.

Anika's pov

How can he be like this? If someone is in his situation they would have definitely take advantage of the situation. But shivay respect my dignity and feeling. I don't know what good I have done that I got a husband like him.
