Recap: shivay to help Anika in sahil's custody case

" I don't want your help. It's all because of you. Why can't you let me live in peace?", She hit his chest continuously.

" Trust me Anika I didn't do it intentionally. I never thought sahil will do this", he tried to Pacify her.

" Trust and you. It's a nice joke shivay. I did a grave mistake by trusting you once. I will never ever repeat it again", her words pierced his heart.

" I know Anika you don't trust me and I am solely responsible for this situation. I know my sorry will not mend your heart but I want to rectify my mistake. I never want to manipulate sahil but if I did it by mistake please forgive me. I want to clear up the mess created. Please give me a chance", he said sincerely

When shivay was trying to convince her Vikram came.

" Sorry for disturbing you people. Actually Mrs. Patel said she need to have a word with you as she is in hurry to go".

" Actually Vikram he is my ...", She tried to explain Vikram.

" Ani we don't have time for this. I trust you. Whatever you do there must be a reason behind it. Now we have to take decision", Vikram said.

" But Vikram what can we do now?", She asked.

" Ani I discussed this case with my senior lawyers. They suggested you to act like being in a relationship. Once officials are satisfied they will give you sahil's custody. After that you can stop being in that relationship or to be precise you can divorce your so called fake husband. There is no other go. If you don't accept this then you will lose sahil's custody", he made his point clear to her.

Hearing Ani from Vikram increased shivay's rage but he composed himself. He didn't want to create a scene before Anika.

" Actually your lawyer is right. We don't have any other options", shivay said.

" Are you ready for this", Vikram asked her.

She nodded her head in response.

At Mrs. Patel cabin

" So Anika is he your husband?", She asked her again.

" Yes Mrs. Patel he is my husband", she said looking at shivay.

" If so then why you never mentioned about him to us. Infact I visited your place many times but I never saw him there", she asked suspiciously.

" Actually I was on a long business trip. I was working in India for past six months. Maybe that's why you didn't meet me earlier", shivay said.

" If so Mr. Oberoi then why  she didn't mention to me about your marriage?", She still raised her doubt.

" Mrs. Patel they wanted to keep their marriage as personal because they need some time. They were busy in building their carriers. But sahil was aware of their relationship", Vikram tried to cover up the situation.

" Okay I agree you both are married. But I want to see your marriage certificate", Mrs. Patel demanded.

Anika looked at Vikram helplessly. She don't know from where she will get marriage certificate.

" Here Mrs. Patel our marriage certificate", shivay gave few documents to Mrs. Patel.

Anika was shocked to core. She thought he divorced her so her marriage is no longer valid. But here he is giving marriage certificate to Mrs. Patel.

That means he never divorced her. She is still his wife. This thought gave her lot of goosebumps.

After verifying documents Mrs. Patel felt satisfied.

" So from now I should address Anika as Mrs. Oberoi", she smiled a bit and continued.

" Mr and Mrs oberoi your marriage certificate is valid. But still we need to verify whether you are truly in a relationship or just acting. We will send our officers to verify you. Till then sahil will be with us. Don't worry he will stay in one of his close friend's house. But do remember if we find your relationship fake then you may never get his custody", she said in a warning tone.

" Mrs. Patel I just need a favor from you. Can you please let me to see sahil? It's a request from my side", Anika pleaded to her.

She felt sorry for Anika. She very well knew about Anika-sahil bond but she can't do anything against law. But she can help her a bit.

" Okay but only for few minutes. You can go and meet him. I need to have a word with your lawyer", Mrs. Patel said.

" Thank you so much", Anika said.

Vikram asked shivay to accompany Anika. He gave a side hug to Anika. He said to her that everything will be fine. They left from there to meet sahil.

Shivay's pov

First he called her Ani and now he's hugging her. I won't spare him. I know Anika and Vikram don't have anything between them but still it hurts me to see her with someone else.

" Anika didi", sahil hugged Anika.
She didn't reciprocate the hug. Sahil broke the hug.

" Didi are you upset with me?", He questioned.

" Why you did this?", She asked to him angrily.

" Woh didi".

" Sahil I know why you did this. You risked your custody for this man. I can't believe this. Don't you know how much he hurt me but still you want to give him a chance.

I am not going to talk to you. Once you come back to home I will pay back for your stunts. Eat properly, sleep on time,  read well and be a good boy. But never think your plan will get success", she said angrily.

She kissed his cheek and forehead. She had tears in her eyes. She left from there. After her departure shivay went to sahil

" Sahil why you did this for me?", Shivay asked him.

" Offo bhagad billa who said I did this for you?", Sahil questioned him.

" Obviously it is visible you did all this to help me", he answered.

" Maybe but I did all this for Anika didi. Her happiness lies in your happiness so I did all this", he replied smartly.

" You know what sahil you may be younger than me in age but your thinking is lot more mature than mine. You are selfless. To help me you risked your entire custody case. I can never forget this favor. For your sister's happiness you are even ready to stay away from her. I promise you sahil I will never let you down. I will bring you back very soon", he hugged sahil.

" Jiju when sahil is here why to fear. Don't worry everything will be fine".

Shivay couldn't believe himself. Sahil called him jiju for first time.

" What did you call me?", Shivay asked in disbelief.

" Jiju", he said.

" Are you so confident about me. Your didi still didn't accept me", he said sadly.

" I am 100% sure she will accept you.  She will show her tadi but still she loves you more than anything in this world. According to me love always overpower anger", sahil said confidently.

" Thank you for trusting me. I am sorry because of me she is angry on you."

" Don't worry jiju she won't be angry on me for long time. I know about her. All the best", he assured him.

Shivay once again hugged sahil and left from there.

Vikram went back to his office to complete some formalities. He messaged Anika regarding his departure. She replied him she is fine and she will manage.

Anika was waiting for shivay. When he came she pulled him to a corner where no one can see them. Shivay was shocked by her action. She was so close to him after six months.

" If you are doing all this because you are guilty then stop this. I forgive you. I don't have any grudge against you", she said trying to sound confident.

" But..", he tried to answer.

" Look shivay already we are apart from each other for six months. We moved on in our life. There is no need for you to come back again", she said weakly.

" Move on ", he smiled.

He went towards her and lifted her hand.

" Well Anika if you have moved on in your life then why you are still wearing our engagement ring", saying so he kissed her hand.

" Woh mein...", She stammered.

" If you think you are fooling me then let me remind you one thing you are not fooling me but you are fooling yourself. I already told you earlier it's because of me sahil is away from you. I can't let this happen. So I am doing all this. But you are right this is only one reason.

The main reason is I am not doing all this because I am guilty but I am doing all this because I LOVE YOU", he said.

Anika was shocked to hear his confession. She couldn't believe herself. She never thought shivay will confess his feelings to her. She was too numb to react.

Shivay couldn't control himself. He knew she always like to be simple. He could have proposed her by taking her to some date but he knew she didn't like those things. It doesn't mean he will not take her to dates in future.

It's just that he can't control his feelings anymore especially after knowing she too loves him. He didn't want her to think he is doing all this because he is guilty. Although she didn't declare her love he was pretty sure he will revive her feelings very soon.

" I know it will be shocking to you but trust me this is how I felt about you always. I was too stubborn to admit this. But now I understand your importance in my life. I can never live without you. Without you my life will just be a mere existence.

I did a grave mistake by not trusting you and I won't repeat it again. I already paid too much for my mistake by staying away from you. I won't force you to accept me again. But no one can take your place in my life again. You may ask me if I loved you then why I want to get engaged to meghna. I never wished to do that.

I thought I will hurt you but before my engagement I realized I can't live without you. I loved you so much. I stopped my engagement and that's when I got to know about the entire fiasco.

I won't force you to reciprocate my love. I never gave you any chance to love me but I will be waiting for that day when you will again get a chance to love me. I will be waiting for that day", he poured his heart out.
