Part 22

" Dadi from where on Earth you are finding these games", shivay complained.

" Oye chup kar billu you can never understand all these things. These are not only games but they help couples to increase their love for each other", Dadi explained.

" Dadi but today is my cheat day and you want me to do this", rudra said in cry baby tone.

" I thought my grandsons are strong but look like they can't even do this small challenge", Dadi said in worried tone.

" Dadi don't worry I am ready to play this game", omkara assured.

" O this is cheating, you can do this challenge easily but think of me. How can I lift bhavya on my back. She is so heavy", rudra cried.

" What did you say? I am fat. For you kind information I'm more fit than you. Even in our last challenge I did more push ups than you", bhavya said proudly.

" All of you listen carefully. Your partner should lift you on their back and walk till the marked distance. If they fail to do so then you have to pick up a chit from this bunch of chits and should do accordingly", Dadi explained the rules to everyone.

All men lifted their respective partners on their back. Although rudra was complaining like a kid he still enjoyed the game because of his teasing sessions with bhavya.

At one point shivay lost his balance and hence made Anika and him fall on ground. All other pairs won the game.

Shivay picked up a chit and read it aloud.

" You should get locked with your partner for 30 minutes in store room", shivay's expression changed drastically from sadness to happiness.

Everyone giggled at his expression. Anika felt embarrassed.

Soon they locked both of them in store room.

Shivay was giggling whereas Anika was looking at him with an angered expression.

Anika's pov

Why shivay is laughing like a mad? Has he lost his brain or what? Here we are locked in store room and he is giving an expression like we are locked in our private honeymoon suite.

Anika wait a minute what are you thinking? You are not a 2 rs ladki. You are thinking about honeymoon. Actually it's not wrong I'm his wife one or the other day we should take this relationship to next level.

I know shivay want to do this but after all that fiasco our lives are changed a lot. I confessed to him but still he didn't say those magical words to me. I can understand he is very unexpressive but still I am yearning to listen those words from him. He is sincerely searching for clue.

After giving up oberoi industries to omru he is now helping me to stabilize tagore industries to its old glory. He is my guide. Before any problem could reach me he will clear it. I am so lucky to have him in my life.

She decided to ask him.

" Shivay why are you laughing?", Anika asked him.

Shivay kept on smiling. He slided his hands around her waist. She gasped at his action. He Nuzzled her neck and placed a small wet kiss. She shivered at his touch. She once again tried to concentrate but he was making it impossible for her.

" Shivay what are you doing? You still didn't answer my question?", She asked him with much difficulty.

" Romancing my wife", saying so he continued to kiss her.

" I can see it shivay but why were you laughing before?", Anika asked him again.

" You never leave any matter. You are really jasoos Anika", he laughed at her.

" Shivay" she playfully hit him.

" Ouch", shivay hissed in pain.

" Is it hurting?. I am sorry", Anika asked him with concern and apologized to him.

He looked at his wife who showered all her concern on him. He felt so lucky to have her in his life. He thanked Almighty for sending an angel in his life. She taught him to live his life.

She gave him a reason to live. she stood by his side when everyone else left him behind to suffer. She gave him a reason to smile. She trusted him more than herself. She sacrificed all her happiness for a beast like him.

She loved him more than anything else in this world. She was his and she proved it in each and every action of her. Suddenly he felt an urge to ask her a question.

" Why you love me so much Anika?", Shivay asked her.

She was stunned by his question. She loved him more than anything else. She can't even imagine a life without him. He was her life. He made many mistakes.

He insulted, hurted, scolded, misunderstood her many times but none of this could reduce the love she held for him. As the time passed her love for him only increased. How much far they stayed apart from each other still she loved him.

There was a time when she hated herself for loving him so much because she can never hate him at any cost. Her heart always betrayed her. It always took his side.

She herself can't figure out why this was happening to her. Only one thing she could understand is Anika is nothing without shivay and no power in this world can change this fact.

" Anika", shivay called him. She was snapped out of her thoughts.

" Huh shivay", Anika said absent mindedly.

He could understand her nervousness. He cupped her cheeks lovingly and looked into her eyes.

" Anika I know it's difficult for you to answer but still give it a try. Just close your eyes and ask yourself why you love me so much. you will definitely get an answer", shivay said to her.

She closed her eyes for few seconds. Her face adorned a smile. She took a deep breath and opened her eyes.

She took his hands in hers and held it tightly. He gently squeezed her hand to assure he is with her.

" Shivay I just don't know what I am going to say but whatever I am saying its true because I am listening to my heart. I may blabber something unnecessary so don't take it personally.

When for the first I saw you in my life I never thought we were meant to be together. We fought a lot. You misunderstood me many times. Our relationship was on verge of breaking. All your insults, accusations, your distrust on me and many more led to my sleepless night.

But my trust on you never faded away. You always protected your family Shivay. How I felt about sahil you felt the same for omru. There is nothing wrong in it. Infact I am more proud of you because you sacrificed all your happiness for your family. You became a robot shivay because you want to see others live.

You never smiled because you was too busy in protecting others smile. Both of our condition are same. You had a different set of challenges and me another set of challenges. We spend our entire life for our family.

At first I thought you are a cold hearted rude man. But everything changed when I saw concern in your eyes for your family. I understood a man like you can never be cruel. You proved it correct. Slowly our relationship mended. Seeing the love for your family I fell in more love with you.

I always denied a family in my life. But you gave me khidkhitod family. Even though you forced me to marry you I fell in love with you. From a corner of my heart I wished to see you as Anika's shivay but not as shivay's Singh oberoi.

Guess what it happened shivay. I saw you as my shivay only my shivay. You gave up all your ideologies only for me.

I never thought you will change my life completely. I never thought I will get a reason to live apart from sahil. I never thought I will smile just by to thinking about you. I never thought butterflies can exist in my stomach unless you touch me.

I never thought my name will sound so beautiful unless you call it. I never thought I will ever fall in love in this life but you made me fall irrecoverably in love with you.

I don't how to say why I love you shivay but I am sure about one thing I can't live without you. I may sound selfish but I am sorry shivay. I love you shivay. I love you", her words marked with love.

Shivay was stunned by her confession.

Shivay's pov

How can she call herself selfish? She did everything for me and she is saying. What good I did that I got a girl like Anika in my life? I can clearly understand all her love for me. I am the happiest man in this world right now.

I promise you Anika even though you don't want I will prove to you I deserve you. I love you Anika. I love you and I will fill our entire life with happiness. This is my pinky promise to you.

Shivay hugged her tightly and whispered in her ears.

" Thank you Anika for being my angel", he lightly pecked her lips.

Her pupils dilated in shock. Soon she composed herself from the effect. She tried to distracted him.

" Shivay you still didn't tell me why you laughed?", Anika was back to her jasoosi mood.

" Oh jhansi ki Rani that's because I changed the entire chits which had same task. I deliberately dropped you down so that we may get some time to spend together all alone", Shivay winked at her.

Anika widened her mouth in shock.

" Cheapde ", she muttered under her breath.

She started to chase him and he started to run from her so called wife who is now ready to punish him for his cheapde thoughts.
