Recap: Matsumi goes up against Kitano, only to nearly be killed once. However upon sacrificing Akihito, Matsumi is able to be reborn with a headspace ability and his new dragon manifestation - Ryujin.

Matsumi and Ryujin stare at Kitano and Scissorhands, as they prepare for round two.
Matsumi: "Ryujin! Let's do it then!"
Ryujin: *monstrous growling voice* "UNDERSTOOD!"
Kitano: "Get him Scissorhands!"
Scissorhands: *tough masculine voice* "TIME TO SLICE N DICE!!!"
Matsumi now focuses his energy only on dodging scissor shockwaves while Ryujin holds back Scissorhands with sheer strength. It is a strife wherein just one impact would determine the entire outcome.
Kitano: "You just won't give up huh?"
Suddenly from behind, several monstrous fish appear and they start using their sharp jaws to bite into both Kitano and Scissorhands.
Matsumi: *thinks* "No way! A new added ability?"
Kitano and Scissorhands aren't giving in and keep attacking their foe. Matsumi however manages to get close and blocks Kitano's scissor with his blade. The crab therianthrope doesn't have enough space to create a shockwave. Now it is a close quarters melee battle, with Kitano being forced to use his scissor like a melee weapon against Matsumi's rapid reflexes. The shark therianthrope isn't giving up either, for he knows that this will result in Kitano escaping to get himself more space and create a snipping shock.
Kitano: "YOU'RE ANNOYING ME! THIS FIGHT IS SO LAME?"
Matsumi: "Started crying already? Round two has barely started!"
Scissorhands and Ryujin are engaged in melee combat as well, being at a stalemate. Matsumi manages to convey telepathically an idea that Ryujin understands.
Ryujin: *monstrous growling voice* "Understood, master!"
The monstrous fish are continuously biting into Kitano and Scissorhands' bodies, however neither of them seem affected.
Matsumi: "COME ON! CAN'T YOU ATLEAST TRY TO RUN?"
Kitano: "RUNNING IS TOO MUCH EFFORT! I WANNA FINISH THIS THEN GO BACK TO SLEEP!"
Matsumi: *thinks* "What a piece of work!"
Before Kitano could ponder, Matsumi steps back and creates distance.
Matsumi: "Go ahead! Here's your opportunity!"
Kitano: "What? You....."
Instinctively, Kitano is about to create a scissor shockwave. Suddenly several fish get stuck between the two blades, acting as an obstruction and making it heavier for Kitano. This leads to Ryujin and Matsumi ganging up on Scissorhands, whom they are managing to give a hard time using their combined efforts - with the dragon flinging him around while Matsumi uses his blade to battle the bionic claws. Eventually managing to defeat Scissorhands by stabbing him in the gut, Matsumi feels nearly victorious as the crab man disappears. Kitano feels shocked and defeated.
Kitano: "H-How? What did you do?"
Ryujin vanishes as well and the carnivorous fish keep holding on to both Kitano as well as his scissors.
Matsumi: "Think about it! I get that losing your bandmates has been real tough on you, but how long can you hide?"
Kitano is too shocked to answer or comprehend.
Matsumi: "You really think being a hermit in your home is going to make everything better?"
Kitano: "What do you understand?"
Matsumi: "I completely understand! I used to be just like you."
*flashback begins*
The shark therianthrope traces back to the time he was afraid of going out, due to excessive bullying in middle school in addition to his mother's abuse. He would cry in corners and never want to go out. However one day, he had had enough of it and went out. A bully meets him on the road and dumps trash on his head, only to be kicked in the groin by a frustrated Matsumi. Young Matsumi's leg hurt badly after the assault, however the bully's 2 accomplices try hurting him back. The 3 bullies are then confronted with their own enemy hoodlums, giving young Matsumi enough time to run away. He hides in a corner, looking at the bullies as they get beat up after which they never bothered him.
*flashback ends*
Matsumi: "Had I never gotten out of that house, I wouldn't have possibly made it that far and would only be living in fear."
Kitano: "Really? You....."
Matsumi: "You are a formidable opponent with a decent ability. Your body language however tells me that you don't know how to use headspace."
Kitano: "Shit! You found out?"
Matsumi: "I've had such a tough time without your headspace ability. Maybe if you go outside, you may find someone somewhere who can help you achieve that."
Kitano's mind is blown with this new perspective, and he drops his scissor weapon on the ground. The environment around them starts to crack and shatters open. They both return back to the basement room where Kitano had imprisoned himself.
Kitano: "I see! You really think I'm powerful? I thought I was weak as a worm, that I would....."

Matsumi: "Don't underestimate yourself. Not everyday is a random guy gonna advise you to get the hell out and touch grass."
The shark therianthrope walks away, while the crab therianthrope looks at him in surprise. Matsumi leaves the basement and runs upstairs to be reunited with Sayato.
Sayato: "What's up? Are you okay?"
Matsumi: "I managed to get the hermit out of it's shell."
Sayato: "Oh yeah! Where's this so-called hermit?"
Matsumi: "Rats! I expected him to follow me but I guess he's taking his time. Don't worry!"
Sayato: "Anyways where's everyone else?"
Matsumi: "Who knows!"
Suddenly Wendy calls Sayato.
Sayato: "What's up, Wendy?"
Wendy: "Come over to the roof, right now! Is Matsumi with you?"
Sayato: "Yeah! He says he managed to complete the mission."
Wendy hangs up the phone, as she is standing upstairs with none other than the Saint Hikaru.
Hikaru: "So that scumbag Matsumi says that he convinced the hermit to come out of it's shell?"
Wendy: "You don't believe him, huh?"
Hikaru: *sighs* "As much as I hate him for existing, if he came out of the basement room alive it probably means he won. The crab therianthrope would give even the Saints a hard time. I wonder how he looks when he's crushed though."
Wendy clenches her fist in anger upon hearing such insults from her fellow Saint's mouth. Suddenly Hikaru takes out the watch.
Wendy: "That watch!"
Hikaru: "The Guardian Angel said that we don't need it anymore!"
Wendy: "What? Didn't the Guardian Angel tell you to protect it?"
He spawns a blue ring on the ground and throws the watch on it, causing it to explode and destroying the watch instantly. Behind them, a loud familiar yell is heard.
Hikaru: "Ooh if it isn't!"
Dan: "I remembered......everything!!!"
Hikaru: "Hahaha! Must've been such a painful journey for you, right?"
Matsumi and Sayato reach the rooftop.
Matsumi: "You scumbag of a Saint!"
Sayato: "You scumbag of a biological father!"
Hikaru chuckles.
Matsumi: "Dan! Naomi! Are you okay?"
Dan and Naomi approach Matsumi and Sayato.
Matsumi: "So, the last relic.....was it with you?"
Dan: "Yes Matsumi! The hunt is over now, finally I remember it all."
Matsumi: "That's nice!"
Dan: "But I guess this is it for you."
Matsumi: "Pardon?"
Dan: "You remember that our contract was that you'd help me find my memories. Well, obviously it's over! You don't have any use being here."
Matsumi: *sighs* "I know! I guess my mission is done. Atleast I get to keep the money."
Dan laughs loudly, and to everyone's shocker Naomi starts laughing loudly as well. And in the absolute unexpected turn of events - Naomi speaks.
Naomi: "HAHAHA! What money? Sorry but the Saints took it all. Obviously we can't give away a large sum for such a small pathetic mission to a random outsider."
Matsumi, Sayato, Wendy and Hikaru are in deep shock.
Wendy: "The mute girl talked?"
Sayato: "Huh? She could talk?"
Matsumi: "You......you two.......what......what is going on?"
Dan puts his hand on Matsumi's shoulder.
Dan: "Thank you for your service, buddy! Unfortunately we cannot give you money for this. The Guardian Angel after all won't approve of such a theft."
Naomi: "Hope you're proud of your efforts, you were really a gem to us. But can you please die now?"
Hikaru: "I second that!"
Dan: "For a while I was wondering if you could actually be a member of the Saints, but we already have our seats full and many replacements."
Matsumi: "If this is a joke, it's....in real poor taste."
Dan and Naomi laugh loudly.
Naomi: "Look at this poor little freak, thinking he's so important."
Matsumi is trembling and sweating, his heart beating in chaos and confusion.
Matsumi: "This has to be a dream! This can't be happening."
Naomi: "I know right, it must be so hard on you my sweet little boy. Don't you wanna die, young one?"
Dan: "We're actually agents for the Guardian Angel, and everything you did upto now was just our source of entertainment."
Hikaru: "That's funny! The Guardian Angel never told us anything about you."
Suddenly Hikaru gets what looks like a timed voice message from none other than the Guardian Angel. He plays the message out loud.
Guardian Angel: "Sorry for the delay, there was a bit of a network issue on our end. Dan and Naomi are the two new replacements for our Saints, for they have proved their worth by bringing the hermit out of it's shell. Jerry and Wendy are no longer useful to us, as for the rest of them you can decide."
Hikaru: "That's a weird decision but okay, I guess!"
Matsumi is in a state of silent panic as he falls to the ground, unable to decipher the situation.
Matsumi: "Has to be a joke! It just isn't real."
Sayato: "It's real, Matsumi!"
Matsumi: "W-Where's Chisaki? CHISAKI! WHERE IS HE?"
Dan: "Ohh him? Shall we say, we're giving him to the Guardian Angel. He'd fit well there, you barely knew the kid yet you act as if he was so important to you."
Matsumi: "NO! CHISAKI DOESN'T DESERVE THAT."
Matsumi is now crying, unable to get himself together after seeing the situation. He repeatedly slaps himself.
Matsumi: "No! No please wake up Matsumi!"
Sayato: *thinks* "I don't even know what to say to this."
Matsumi: "Don't be this way! Please be a hallucination, a nightmare.....anything but real!"
Hikaru: "Don't you wanna die, my stupid nephew? Just kill yourself won't ya?"
Wendy grabs Hikaru's arm tightly and cracks it.
Hikaru: "AAAAAAH MY ARM!!!"
Wendy: "Say one more word about that man, and you'll be on a wheelchair you sisterfucker!"
Hikaru: "Hahahaha! You won't be able to do that. 2 more current members of the Saints intend to show up right now, are you sure you want to pick a fight?"
Wendy falls back, clenching her fists.
Sayato: "Doesn't matter! We're going to settle things with you right here, right now, you scumbag!"
Wendy: "No don't! You don't know about the Saints, our forces aren't enough."
Sayato: "We're more than enough, we can......"
Suddenly Sayato starts feeling exhaustion and falls on the ground. Matsumi feels exhausted as well and is unable to enact or think further.
Dan: "Hey hey! The exhaustion from therian transformations is finally catching up with them. So pitiful!"
Naomi: "Sorry Wendy! But you're going to die, cause after all we're taking yours and your brother's spots."
Naomi pulls out the flaming blade and runs towards Wendy. Wendy too feels exhausted after the fight against Vanessa in which she took a lot of damage from her Kincrab creatures, but tries her best to dodge. However at one point she is cornered.
Wendy: "You scumbags! You're going to pay for using people like trash."
Naomi: "You and your big brother were too soft, there's no helping but taking your seats."
The bat therianthrope Jerry shows up flying rapidly, carrying Koshiro as well as the two catgirls from the bar - Eiko and Inori on his backs. He is about to faint, however as soon as Naomi charges towards the cornered Wendy, the bat therianthrope flies towards her, then reverts to his original human form and protects her by taking a brutal stab to the heart. The pink flames cause the explosion of his heart, creating a hole in his chest.
Wendy: "BIG BROTHER NO!!!!!!"
She holds onto her stabbed, wounded big brother. Naomi smirks, showing no remorse for this display.
Naomi: "One down, one more to go!"
Suddenly gunshots are fired from behind, injuring Naomi on her hands and feet resulting in her having to fall on all fours temporarily.
Naomi: "How annoying! WHO GOES?"
Eiko and Inori glare at Naomi in tears.
Eiko: "I don't know what's going on but it looks like you chose to turn against Wendy and Jerry-nyan!"
Inori: "Wendy and Jerry are like family to us-nyan!"
Koshiro glares at Dan and Naomi, being equally shocked upon hearing them speak.
Dan: "Hey there Koshiro! Guess what, my memories are back and the Saints need me. So we're ditching ya!"
Koshiro: "Words are easy, like the wind; faithful friends are hard to find. Where's Chisaki?"
Dan: "None of your business! Why do you care about that kid so much?"
Koshiro gets angry, composing himself despite being absolutely flabbergasted at the entire situation. Wendy holds her dying brother in her hands, her eyes blurred with hot tears.
Wendy: *sniffles, sobs* "Big bro! You.....you can't die so soon. Why?"
Jerry: *low voice* "I'm sorry Wendy! I had to do this. I've always been like this and you know it."
Wendy: *sobs, whimpers* "But you're going now big brother. I.....I can't imagine living without you. You were the light in my life!"
Jerry: *whispers* "Anytime you wanna remember me, be someone else's light in their darkess will ya?"
With these words, Jerry becomes lifeless as he passes away in his younger sister's strong muscular arms. Wendy sees flashes of her past in which all Jerry did was protect her and even at one point helped her cover up a bunch of murders she had committed with the help of their former hope .i.e the Guardian Angel.
Wendy: *thinks* "Matsumi was right! I've.....I've been protected my whole life."
Suddenly two other Saints - Dennen and Terrance show up in front of everyone on a helicopter. The helicopter is parked, and they join Hikaru.
Dennen: "Show mercy to these young fools, o almighty force!"
Terrance: "So? Are your memories back now, Dan?"
Dan: "You bet! Let's just dispose of the rest of them, shall....."
Before he could speak, Wendy lets out a loud howl as she cries and screams, having to deal with such an extreme chaos of a situation. She then Instinctively turns into her mare therianthrope form and undergoes her second manifestation - a chimerization. The black mare develops what look like bat wings - as her second manifestation form is that of a Pegasus. Koshiro too uses the last bits of his energy to transform into his snow leopard therian, and freezes all the enemies. Wendy in her Pegasus form approaches Koshiro with Jerry's dead body on her back.
Wendy: *high pitched monstrous voice* "Quick! Put Sayato and Matsumi on my back."
Koshiro: *monstrous growling voice* "Huh? Are you sure about this? What if these guys are unfrozen and launch aerial attacks?"
The Pegasus therianthrope has moist eyes.
Wendy: *high pitched monstrous voice* "I might lose my sanity any moment! DO IT RIGHT NOW!"
Koshiro complies, and he rapidy climbs down the mansion walls with Inori and Eiko while Wendy flies away with Matsumi, Sayato as well as Jerry's corpse on her back. Several pink flaming shots are fired from behind at her, however she continues to endure them and crash lands chaotically in the forest, destroying several trees. Thereafter she reverts back to her original form.
Dan: "C'mon! Let's go after her!"
Naomi: "No need! They're all in damage control mode, there's nothing they'll be able to do anyways."
Hikaru: "Hmph! I wish I got the chance to kill that stupid scumbag nephew of mine."
Terrance: "No need! You'll get your chance some other day. Maybe he'll simply kill himself, but our main objective was achieved you know."
Naomi: "I love you so much more, you're such a sacrificial sweetheart Dan."
Terrance: "Come on! We must leave, France is where we're off to now."
Naomi and Dan smile pleasantly, as they hold hands and get in the helicopter with the other Saints. They successfully fly away, abandoning everything.
