Recap: Dan, Naomi, Matsumi and Akihito have broken into Shinji's wrecked mansion. Matsumi gets into a strife with Shinji while the other 3 struggle against Panacea to retrieve a certain valuable pendant. However in a twist of fate, Dan awakens mysterious defensive powers.

Akihito runs down to help out Matsumi in his ongoing battle against Shinji. Matsumi is already starting to sweat and get anxious regarding defeating the boss he had so prepared himself for.
Shinji: "You're not really putting up much of a front here. You'll all go home empty handed, trust me!"
Matsumi: "Shut up! You don't know me well."
Akihito arrives in time and spawns a seaweed blade, using it to slash the boss on his leg. Shinji is startled but pissed as he recognizes the powers.
Shinji: "I can't believe you're still alive, you snitch weasel!"
Akihito: "Hah! I need to pay you back for setting up the electric shocker inside me, don't I?"
Shinji: "Oh I did? I don't remember much...."
Akihito: *comical angry face* "HOW COULD YOU NOT REMEMBER?"
Shinji: "Hah! Once I'm done with this energetic jumping fish, it's time for your personal execution ya seaweed scum."
Matsumi lands a punch at Shinji, pushing him back.
Matsumi: "AKIHITO! DO IT NOW!!!"
The seaweed mossform starts to summon a vortex and does his signature move.
Akihito: "FLORAL TERRITORIAL!!!"
The vortex turns into a sea floor, Akihito spawns it to contain the boss as well as his own temporary ally. However to Matsumi's shocker, Shinji can breathe and swim underwater with no worry. Shinji then starts to mutate, glowing bright pink and turns into a mutated giant translucent pink jellyfish.
Matsumi: "Oh shit! Another aquatic therian? And....it's not a nice one!"
Shinji: *creepy high pitched voice* "YES! I'm the jellyfish therian - Chironex if you wanna call it."
Matsumi: "Chironex? OH SO THAT'S WHERE 'NEX' COMES FROM HUH? Clever, why didn't I figure that out before?"
Akihito: "MATSUMI DO IT QUICKLY!"
Matsumi: "Ah...oh...okay!"
As an instinctive defence mechanism, as well as upon seeing the blood seeping out from where Shinji was slashed by Akihito, Matsumi turns into his monster shark form.
Matsumi: *monstrous voice* "Time for you to pay, scumbag!"
Shinji: *creepy high pitched voice* "Don't think you're high and mighty just because your therian is scarier."
The shark advances towards the giant jellyfish, however it turns out to be a bad move as the jellyfish actually stings it and repels it back. The shark speeds down to the sea floor where it crashes.
Matsumi: (thinks) "Shit! This guy's not an easy matchup for me."
Akihito uses his seaweed to restrain the jellyfish tentacles. Matsumi uses this moment to swim back up and catch up with the enemy.
Shinji: "You're annoying and boring! You would've been better off watching Spongeborg at home rather than working for scumbags whom you barely know."
Matsumi swims aggressively towards Shinji, getting repelled by the electricity in the tentacles yet again. He manages to swim off in time and maintain balance, but he couldn't do it forever.
Shinji: "I know your basic strategy was to fight me in the sea using Akihito's ability, but it's not working is it? Why not just get out and mind your own business?"
Matsumi: *huffs and pants* "I don't care! Thugs like you who act all high and mighty simply piss me off. I've met many of you before and I want nothing but to see you disowned by this world. After all, thugs like you ruined my mother too by selling drugs n shit, didn't you?"
Shinji begins laughing.
Matsumi: "Hah! Laugh all you want at my statements, it's just expected of a typical mafia creep."
Shinji: "Oh yeah? Are you doing this just because of some stupid ass issues you had in the past? You're thinking that taking me down is gonna fix your problems? Get a grip and accept reality! There's many people with my type of thinking out there, nobody gives a fuck what happens to you."

Matsumi is getting angrier at the boss' lack of remorse and empathy.
Shinji: "If you think you had it real rough, okay I'll give you my sympathies but I'm not going to give this fight to you as a free handout."
Shinji extends his tentacles towards the shark. However Matsumi tries to swim towards him, trying to avoid the tentacles in the process. This time, Matsumi is filled with rage and even after getting stung he is able to swim as fast as possible.
Shinji: "Wait what the....?"
The shark delivers a painful bite to the head of the jellyfish, inflicting great pain on Shinji. The boss screams in pain, getting angry.
Shinji: "How did he manage to do that damage even after being stung?"
Akihito: "He's been through some real shit in life, unlike your luxurious life boss. You're pretty much the lowest subordinate under the guardian angel, aren't you? You just got this therian as a small gift from her."
Shinji is shocked, consequently getting distressed.
Akihito: "You won't be able to put Matsumi down no matter what."
Shinji envelops himself in pink light and projects a huge beam of electricity at Akihito, electrocuting him badly.
Matsumi: "AKIHITO NO!"
Shinji: "What a scumbag! People like him are never loyal to anyone."
The floral territorial vanishes, rendering them back in the mansion garden. However Matsumi despite reverting back hasn't given up on the battle, as he notices the bottle of pink liquid in Akihito's hand.
Shinji: "You may have had one measly moment of glory, but sorry everything's gotta end."
Akihito is still alive and breathing, but being heavily electrocuted has left him on the ground shivering.
Matsumi: *thinks* "Time to execute phase two."
Akihito: "M-Matsumi! Your mother didn't love you, t-this scumbag....he probably had associates who gave your mother drugs. T-That's why she did everything to you that she did."
Shinji fires tentacles at Matsumi again, however this time Matsumi smirks at the boss. He remembers his horrific childhood, the amount of torture and abuse he endured as well as his previous fear of water due to the rough treatment he got from his mother. He then splashes the pink liquid in the air.
Shinji: "Huh? What's that? Simply looks like soap water to me!"
Suddenly the boss gets a bad feeling.
Shinji: "Don't tell me....they figured out....."
The boss tries to jump, but is held tightly on the ground as his hands and legs are attached via iron-strength seaweed conjured by none other than the currently injured Akihito.
Shinji: "No-No way! What the hell are you planning, you scumbags?"
Matsumi manipulates the soap water into a water sphere, and fires it at the boss.
Shinji: "No way! Don't tell me they planned this as soon as I was out of the floral territorial."
The pink solution hits the boss very brutally, inflicting extreme pain. To make things worse, the sphere explodes and splashes entirely on the boss' body.
Matsumi: "Did that work?"
Shinji: "You'll all pay for this....AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!"
As if the injuries from the conjured water sphere weren't enough, Shinji's hands and face develop painful tender red rashes and the cuts suffer even worse. Shinji screams as if he were being burned alive.
Akihito: "I always knew that you were allergic to the Lixir soap. I analysed everything you did, and your behavior and everything my dear scumbag boss. I hope you love the fruit of the seeds you sowed."
Shinji: "AAAAAAH YOU BASTARD!!!! YOU KNEW EVERYTHING?"
Matsumi advances towards Shinji, punching him in the face multiple times and performing a leg sweep which was difficult but resulted in the enemy falling to the ground. After this, Matsumi stomps on him several times.
Shinji: "Scumbag! I'm not done yet."
The electrocuted seaweed man gets up, struggling.
Akihito: "TIME FOR PHASE 3, AND THIS TIME YOU NEED TO DO IT QUICKLY Cause I DON'T THINK I CAN HOLD A FLORAL TERRITORIAL MUCH LONGER!"
The sea is again spawned by Akihito, resulting in both Shinji and Matsumi transforming into their respective therians yet again. Shinji is extremely pissed and wants to kill Matsumi badly.
Matsumi: *monstrous voice* "Any last words, ya brainless Jellyfish boy?"
Akihito: *comical laughing face* "HAHAHA THAT WAS A GOOD ONE! HE'S A JELLYFISH WITH NO BRAINS, NO WONDER HE'S SO DUMB!"
However they feel shocked, as the very moment they looked at each other - Shinji disappeared. They hear a voice behind them "Find me if you can!"
Matsumi: *thinks* "No way! He disappeared? Wait, is this part of his ability?"
Shinji is invisible and once again in control.
Matsumi: *monstrous voice* "Akihito! We need to find this guy, any ideas?"
An invisible force behind him however completely electrocutes Akihito causing him to get extremely weak, leaving barely a few seconds for him to keep the floral territorial activated.
Akihito: "Invisibility helps him a lot I guess, but I'm not out of cards yet."
Matsumi: "What now?"
Akihito: "NORI PARADE!!!!"
The allied mossform keeps projecting more and more seaweed out of the sea floor ranging in shapes and sizes, the summoning feels extremely unpredictable.
Akihito: *barely breathing* "You can't lose to a pathetic scumbag like this, Matsu....." *coughs and passes out*
Matsumi: *thinks* "Shit! This is like trial and error now, isn't it? I have to take what little help this guy gave me anyways."
Suddenly one of the seaweed leaves develops a trickle of blood, and since Matsumi is in his shark form this detection leads him to the proper direction. Swimming towards the invisible jellyfish using the fullest of his controlled ability, he manages to nab the invisible jellyfish and delivers a gigantic painful bite.
Shinji: "THAT....THAT HURTS DON'T DO IT!"
The floral territorial is deactivated and Shinji stands before Matsumi bloodied, burned and weakened.
Shinji: "You....listen! I myself disagree with many horrible things I've done. But see, I give people chances. If you want, I-I'll give you money. The mansion may be ruined but you can keep it, so just let me go cause I'll...."
Matsumi: "You're just pissing me off further with all the bullshit you're spewing, jackass!"
As one final touch to the marvelous attacks delivered by Matsumi, he decides to spawn another water sphere and throws it at Shinji, brutally injuring his inner organs. Shinji lets out a gurgled bloodied scream and passes away.
Matsumi: *huffs and pants* "How did I even manage all this?"
However this wasn't so much of a happy ending, as right next to him was the body of Akihito. He wasn't breathing and was nearly out cold.
Matsumi: "Never mind! He was a thug too wasn't he?"
However few minutes after trying to act tough and walk away, he tears up. He then looks down on the body of his so-called temporary ally.
Matsumi: *sobs* "You-you were our temporary ally, but doesn't mean you have to be THIS temporary you bastard! Hey! Hey wake up! WAKE UP DUDE!!!"
The only response from Akihito is pure, deafening silence. Matsumi decides to suppress even his tiny bit of emotions and not overthink, henceforth wiping his tears and running inside the mansion to help out Dan and Naomi. However the fight did take a toll on him, as he is injured from the stings he received.
Inside the wrecked mansion - Panacea has been stopped by a mysterious power that awakened within Dan, however the ball is in her court as she possesses the pendant.
Panacea: "Don't think that just because you were able to stop me once, you've won."
Naomi tries to get the pendant from Panacea, only to suffer more injuries because of her ribbons ability. As a result, she decides to hide close to Dan as he had the invisible barrier around himself.
Panacea: "What's wrong scaredy cat? Are you finally gonna give up and drop dead?"
Dan protects her from the upcoming ribbons using his shield.
Panacea: "Well well, I seriously wonder how this monstrosity even retained a boyfriend. Seriously Dan, why do you stick with her?"
Dan: "I-It's been 50 years, I don't think I can doubt her at this point. Atleast she's not completely immodest like you, ya exhibitionist bitch."
Panacea laughs, flaunting her curves in her leopard print bra and panties in full glory while attacking them.
Panacea: *sighs* "Is that all you can say? Trust me I look like a young girl, but I'm more than 60 years old, old enough to not give a fuck about clothes."
Dan is embarrassed at her lack of awareness and morbid mindset, but continues to hold down the fort anyways.
Dan: *thinks* "I must figure out a way to get the pendant."
He tries moving, however the ribbons conrinuously strike him.
Panacea: "Hahaha! Looks like you can't move unless you deactivate this so-called shield of yours. I'm wondering what kind of ability this is. Ohh and by the way, you just let your guard down!"
Suddenly ribbons come from behind the walls and strike Naomi in the back, injuring her horribly. She however gets back up.
Panacea: "Regeneration is quite convenient for you two, huh?"
Dan: "You must be of the same species as us, after all you only disclosed your age right?"
Panacea: "Sure! Take it as free intel. It won't help you though."
Naomi and Dan are at a stalemate with Panacea, and any method of getting back the pendant feels extremely difficult at the moment. However, their cherished savior Matsumi shows up in time.
Dan: "MATSUMI!"
He is huffing and panting, looking extremely injured.
Panacea: "Ohh! So that's the kid who killed Puffer and turned Akihito against NEX huh?"
Matsumi: "Yeah I am! What of it?"
Panacea: "I assume you've taken care of Shinji as well."
Matsumi: "So the only one left to destroy is you, I guess? Also, why the fuck are you showing off your underwear in the middle of a fight?"
Panacea get annoyed and fires a slower, lesser batch of ribbons at Matsumi only for him to counter using bullet-paced water droplets and break the ribbons. He struggles and fires spheres of water at her, but her dodging is extremely good.
Panacea: *thinks* "Interesting! A water manipulator? Not all aquatic therians can do that."
However everything so far has taken a toll on him, as he spews blood from his mouth the moment he tries to plan his next attack.
Panacea: "Hey little boy! I'll give you one chance, just get out of here and don't associate with these two. It's hard for me to think of murdering someone as gifted and precious as you."
She licks her lips, making a bubbly expression.
Panacea: "Matsumi! You have one chance, get out of this mansion. You can live a better life without being targeted by the guardian angel, after all I'm her direct underling. You don't wanna hurt me, you know!"
However the shark therianthrope smirks and fires more water bullets at her.
Matsumi: "I see! So you'll be of big help to us in getting to the guardian angel. She probably knows something about Dan's past, doesn't she?"
Panacea: "Oh my little boy, do you really think I'm going to let you get to her?"
Suddenly Naomi snatches the pendant from Panacea's neck and shatters it on the ground. Panacea is in deep shock, as the pendant she was guarding had been taken away from her. Suddenly Dan gets a strong brain impulse right after the pendant breaks, with a few voices and blurry scenes coming to his mind.
Dan: "AHHHHH!!! NO WAY! THIS STINGS!"
Dan falls on his knees as if he remembered something, which is exactly what was happening here.
