There you stood over the bridge. Alluka next to you, your nails colored in pink polish to match her own. A pink puff ball on a paper cone was in your palms, Alluka had a blue one she was eating. And below you watched Koi fish swim in circles trying to eat just about everything in sight.

The sun was setting but the streets were busy, people walking next to you and bumping into you from the back at times.

You looked at your cotton ball, and grabbed a piece of it with your painted nails. Unsure of what to do now you looked at Alluka. Alluka stared back at you with a small smile and giggled reaching over to help you.

"Ah! Reader we've been over this! Just eat it! It's not that hard!"

"It feels like something I shouldn't put in my mouth...."

"It's just water and sugar silly!"

Alluka took her hand and gripped your cone holding it up to your lips for you to take a bite of it. You sniffed it, and hesitated but bit into it.

'Oh that's good!'

Alluka giggled seeing the sparkle in your eye and watched you eat the cotton candy like you were famished. She went back to her own and then looked at the setting sky with a smile.

"I always wanted a girlfriend... thank you reader."

"I grew up around smelly boys my whole life... none of them really like me expect Killua... which is a curse and a blessing."

"I love Killua but... he's too controlling. He reminds me of my other sibling... He just wants to keep me safe but he can't see that he's hurting me more than helping..."

You looked at the girl seeing her lean over the bridge looking into the water. You did the same, your hands both on the rim of the bridge. She gently cupped your hand, her cheeks filling with visible blush as she did so.

"I just want to leave.... start my own adventure, break off into my own life! Why do I have to live under him? No one cares about me! My family could give two shits if I die or not! They only care about Killua! So why am I staying with him? What the fuck am I doing?!"

"Wheres my storybook of adventures?! Where's my best friend I meet at the hunter's exam and travel with for the rest of my life?! Where's my friends I can call upon on any situation?"

"..."

"I don't have that..."

You heard the horse in her voice. You looked over to her and tears sat in her eyelids... she gripped her face and hid herself from you and broke into a sobbing mess.

"My whole life! It's nothing but what Killua wants! I-I haven't been living for myself!"

You reached over and hugged her from behind, you were over her shoulder leaning on it. A visible frown on your face.

"But tonight you did.... you're living without him! You dragged me along to get my nails done! We're having fun!"

"I'll be your friend!"

The girl looked at you, you reached over and wiped her tears away. Her face hearing up because of your palms on her cheeks. In seconds her frown turned to a smile and she hugged you deeply.

"Thank you so much!"

The both of you reached back to the apartment, All the boys were their in the exact positions you had left them in.

"You're back, good news! The map maker is going to arrive in three days!"

The male with grey eyes told you and you clapped your hands. "Really that's great!" You told him.

"Ahhh! No it's not! I only get three more days with my bestie?!" Alluka whined throwing herself back on one of the couches next to the passed out Leorio. You sat down next to her with a frown on your face not knowing what to tell her.

"It's okay we can keep in contact!" You exclaimed not even knowing how it would be possible but you caught the girls's attention. She leaned forward with a smile, a gleam in her eyes.

"Really?! How?!"

"Ahh... I.... Hmm..."

"How about we get the map maker to make you guys a map as well! Then you can visit whenever you want!"

You smiled holding your tribal stick. Alluka seemed overjoyed at the fact that she could visit your island. You turned your head to Gon and Killua.

"Then you guys can visit too...."

It was then you realized how the guys were absent, they had left when you were talking with Alluka. "Hmm? Where'd Onii-San go? He was just there..." Alluka asked confused looking around. The blonde male put his tea cup back down on the table not realizing they had left either. "I didn't even realize... they were so quiet."

"Killua always tells me when he leaves... and drags me with him either I like it or not..." Alluka whispered to herself begrudgingly. Kurapika put a finger on his chin. "Those two have been acting strange ever since you both left.... They weren't really talking they were just staring?" Kurapika informed the both of you.

You felt a frown come to your lips. For some odd reason you got a feeling in your gut. It twisted and cried, shaking you to your core telling you something bad was going to happen.

Alluka looked towards the door putting a finger to her lip.

"Now that I think about it, Killua would never let me go out alone with a stranger..."

"What's gotten into them....?"

Gon and Killua didn't return that night. After you and Alluka filled your stomachs with Kurapika's delicious homemade cooking, you went to bed with Alluka sleeping with her in her room.

"READER WAKE UP!"

Alluka shouted now you woke up in a daze and with a slight migraine. You looked deeply into her pretty blue eyes, she looked excited and smiled wildly at you. "KILLUA'S STILL GONE! LETS HAVE SOME GIRL TIME BEFORE THEY COME BACK!" She said as she couldn't contain her excitement. She grabbed your hand and basically dragged you out of the bedsheets.

"Alluka.... ugh....What time is it...?"

"Eight o'clock! Comm'on hurry up and shower before he appears!"

"I... I don't even think I have any change of clothes..."

"You can have some of mine! Now come on please! I've always wanted to do this!"

Once you were refreshed, you stared at yourself in the mirror. You were wearing one of Alluka's  crop tops, it was yellow and had the face of a smiling cat on it. Then you were wearing black tight leggings, and red sneakers on your feet. It felt weird, different from your tribal leather and cloth that were currently being washed.
"You look so cute!" Alluka said to you with a smile. She had her hair up in a ponytail, she kept her headband and braids held by beads to the side of her. She had on a faded orange long sleeved shirt, while the sleeves had a pattern in red, orange, white, pink and finally a magenta. She was also wearing a pair of jean shorts with rips and tears in them. A sparkly grey purse to her side and white oval shades on top of her head.

"Alright! Let's go!" She said to you with a smile on her face giggling and tugging on your arm dragging you with her. "Where even are we going Alluka?" You asked the girl as she could only look back at you and grin with a mischievous look on her face.

"Somewhere I've always wanted to go!"

"Heaven's arena!"

You soon found yourself staring up at a tall high building, holding your tribal stick in one hand and Alluka's palm in the other. The girl with blue hues soon stared at you with a grin. "Do you know how to fight?! We're gonna enter and make it to the top by the end of today!" Alluka exclaimed with a grin fake punching the air. "Fight? Well... a little bit but I don't know if I'll be good at it?" You said walking inside the building with her as you saw all types of rugged, rough, and muscular people inside the building's plaza. You got a little nervous, all you've taken on before were giant crabs or other mythical beasts, you've never fought other humans before.

"Ehh? You'll be fine! I can read your aura! You're pretty strong! You and me both will knock out each and every one of these bozos!" Alluka exclaimed smiling as she was signing you both up for the arena. "Plus we'll make some money too!" She said now the both of you sitting down in the lounge where all the other fighters were.

"Soooo! What's your nen?! With an aura like that it must be something powerful!"

"Nen? What's nen?"

You had a look of confusion on your face when speaking to the girl. While she stared back at you blinking, trying to see if you were joking or not. When she realized you were serious she had a look of shock on her face, her eyes widened. "You don't know nen?! But- but I sense you're so strong!?" Alluka said baffled by your existence. "I know Kitsune fire, but that's not nen? It's a blessing from the fire kitsune." You told her tapping your tribal stick on the floor as the end of it lit up on fire, it changing colors every now and then.

"Huh? Kitsune fire? I've never heard of it before.... It must be powerful if you're aura's that strong."

"It's nothing special, any Kitsune can do it." You explained to her tapping the stick on the floor to extinguish the fire. She watched as the pretty flames died down before putting a hand over your shoulder and pulling you in closer. "Well no need to worry about it! The first hundred floors you don't even need nen!" She told you smiling cheek to cheek. This seemed like something Alluka really wanted to do.

"Killua always used to tell me I couldn't do it because I would get hurt..."

"Because I'm a girl..."

"Well screw him! We're gonna beat these fuckers to the ground! Girl or not!"

Alluka said pumping her fist in the air and jumping up out of her seat.

"Girl power!" She exclaimed chanting it while you got up getting motivated by her. "Yeah! Girl power!" You yelled high-fiving her roughly as she did the same back to you.

"We'll climb to the top of the tower with nothing but raw...."

"GIRL POWER!"
