Reader POV
I got dressed in some of my new clothing Nebra had just purchased for me.
Solid had someone bring all the bags of clothing to House Silva.
"Welcome," the receptionist said with a smile as she saw the two Silva siblings. "Lord Nozel arrived not too long ago. I will show you the way to him."
The tea place looked like a royal palace!
Not one speck of dirt anywhere.
"This is a place where lots of magic knights, nobles, and royals like us like to go,"
"Yes," Nebra said. "You may have noticed, but House Silva is actually one separate branch of all three ruling houses here,"
"That is right," Solid nodded.
"Aren't you one of the ruling families?" I asked.
"Correct!" A new voice said.
The person looked to be about 16. He had crimson hair, green/blue eyes, and a firey aura.
"I'm from one of the ruling houses! House Vermillion!"
A taller male walked into view. "Leopold."
Leopold grinned. "Hello, Silvas!"
"We have a big-time rivalry with them," Solid explained. "It's mostly with Nozel and Fuegeleon, the man in front of us."
"Who is this?" Fuegeleon asked.
"I am (y/n) (l/n)," I said with a curtsy.
"(l/n)...I do not know any nobles or royals with that last name," Leopold said.
Nozel walked from his table with an irk mark. "Rival. This is my...subordinate for now."
"For now?"
Fuegeleon nodded. "Ah. That makes more sense. Well, it is nice to meet you, Miss (l/n)."
Nozel glared at his rival as the Vermillion brothers went back to their table.
"As I was saying, the Clover Castle is really three castles. House Vermillion on the left, House Kira in the middle, and House Silva to the right."
When we sat at the table, I saw a young female about Leopold's age who looked like the painting of Acier Silva.
"This is my youngest sister," Nozel said. "Noelle, meet Miss (l/n). Miss (l/n), Noelle."
Noelle nodded to me. I noticed that she was wearing a different robe than her family members.
I had come to the conclusion that she wasn't accepted into the Silver Eagles.
"Tch," Solid glared as he sat on a chair next to me.
I could feel the tension between the four siblings.
"So..." I nervously drank some (flavor) tea. "How old are you, Lady Noelle?"
"Don't call me Lady," Noelle said. "You're fine. I don't care for fancy titles even though I'm Royalty."
I sweatdropped. "I apologize."
Noelle relaxed. "It's no issue. Nozel tells me you are staying in House Silva?"
I nodded. "Yes."
"You can sleep in my room if you want," Noelle said.
"But that's your room-"
"I don't plan on coming home," Noelle hissed. "I'd rather face the elves again instead of living with my siblings ever again."
The three older siblings flinched.
"Did something happen between you four?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"It's in the past," Noelle sighed. "I just came to see who this girl my brother won't stop talking about is."
"Huh?"
Nozel looked away with a blush. "I've told my fellow captains about you, but only what should be said. It seems Yami Sukehiro has tasked my youngest sister with finding out and meeting you."
Noelle nodded. "Yep. Well, you seem decent enough."
I could tell immediately something was wrong with the girl.
The way she and her siblings weren't exactly friendly to one another.
I stood up. "Noelle, can I talk to you?"
She sighed and got up. "Sure."
We went to the bathroom after making sure no one else was there.
"Tell me what's wrong," I said as I crossed my arms.
"Nothing-"
"That's a lie," I narrowed my eyes.
"Fine." Noelle looked down. "Things between my siblings aren't good. I can't believe I'm saying this to someone I just met, but I was abused."
So I listened to her story of how her brothers tortured her and bullied her and even hurt her physically.
"Which is why I never wish to live with them again," Noelle concluded. Her face was a mixture of pain and anger.
I said nothing but hugged her.
"W-what are you doing?!"
"I know what it's like to be looked down upon," I said. "People called me bad names. Some children were afraid of me when I first got my grimoire."
"But you aren't a failure!"
I shook my head. "Noelle, listen to me. When I was younger, I...I almost killed someone with my magic."
The albino-haired female looked at me with shock.
Flashback
"MOM! LOOK! LOOK!!" I was holding up my grimoire.
Unlike most people who got their grimoire at 15, I got mine two years early.
"It's a four-leaf clover- but with a snowflake intermingling?" The grimoire keeper looked at me in confusion.
"That is unique," Dad said. "I'm not surprised you have ice magic,"
The others in the village got other forms of magic, no one had clovers though. They had Spades and other insignias.
When I got home, I was eager to test out my new magic.
"Ice Magic: Shards of Nordicis!"
The ice from the pond formed into daggers and aimed at someone.
"OH CRAP!!" I tried to stop it, but it wasn't slowing. "Stop it, stop it!!"
The dagger turned green/blue and shot faster.
Before they hit the poor elderly man, my friend Jack stopped it with his rock magic.
The shards fell onto the rock and shattered.
The spell died down a few minutes later, but behind the wall, blood stained the poor elderly man. The trees behind them were cut down.
The lumbers looked towards me with shock.
What would've taken them three weeks to cut and bring down the mountainside to trade took me three minutes.
"Shit! You almost killed him!!" Jack shouted. I ran towards him, worry.
"Makarov-dono!"
"Don't come near me, you freak!" Jack stopped me.
"What's going on?" Father ran up to us. "Makarov!" Father picked up the elderly man.
From that day forward, Makarov had to have his leg and arm amputated. A recovery mage tried to regrow his arms, but it didn't work. So Makarov moved around with a left leg and arm made of rocks.
Jack never talked to me again.
"She's such a freak!" Jack was saying the other children who I thought were my friends. "She shouldn't have that much magic! She's a monster!"
I heard everything.
At school, the other children avoided me.
Father tried to do something about it, but I wasn't going to let him fight my battles.
Makarov ended up dying three months later.
No one in Jack's family looked at me nor did anyone else but Ana and my family.
"She's a danger to this community!" Zara's father was saying. "She'll be the death of us!"
End of flashback
Noelle stared at me with shock. "Wow..."
I nodded. "Which is why I know what you are going through."
I left out the parts about me being from the Spade Kingdom and the whole Dark Triad.
"Well...I like you, (y/n)." Noelle said. "You're a good person."
"Thank you, Noelle." I hugged her again. "Don't listen to anyone. It isn't your fault your mother died."
