I've been watching Haikyuu!! and I'm all caught up lmao

That's what I've been doing instead of updating. Welp, I need a break sometimes. But I update sooner or later.

Also, I won't update until I get at least three votes ;)

Reader POV

I frowned as Nozel was trying to get my attention. "What?"

"You looked like you were in a daze," he said softly. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, just tired."

The silver-haired male laughed. "Of course, you ice-mage. You're a month pregnant- not to mention you've been running around during this month."

"I'm your wife, Nozel. The Wizard King's. You need someone to keep you sane."

He sighed. "I suppose so. Now, about our kid-"

A loud knock was heard. Nozel sighed impatiently. "Who is it!"

The door opened to reveal Marx with a frown on his face. "Julius requests your presence."

Nozel had an annoyed look, but it softened. "Alright." He gave me a hug and a kiss. "I'll be home for dinner, alright? Don't stress yourself out, we have servants."

"Goodbye. Don't get your braid in a tangled mess," I teased.

The door closed and I was once more left in his office.

I sighed and walked out to the balcony. I saw from where I stood at the edge that he and Marx were running somewhere.

"I wonder what they are doing?"

"Excuse me!" A guard walked up to me. "A letter just arrived for your husband,"

"Place it on his desk," I instructed. "I have a feeling he is doing something right now."

The young guard nodded and went on his way.

Curiosity overtook me and I looked around. The room was empty- aside from the paintings of the past Wizard Kings. Nozel's painting was also there.

It seemed as if he were glaring at me not to open it.

"Fuck it," I opened the letter and shock coursed through me.

Wizard King,

I'm going to keep this brief.

Send help to Hage Village.

There are reports of people eating a food that has been invaded with a rare type of magic that is said only demons can handle.

Please send anyone with demonic magic.

Time is of the essence and we need you here.

I will explain more when help arrives.

Father Orsi

I frowned. Hage village was the place where my (somewhat) cousins grew up!

I knew that Yuno couldn't leave the Spade Kingdom since he was now the king there, and Asta was busy with his own priorities as the vice-captain to the Black Bulls. From what Noelle said, he was currently on a mission with Finral, Gauche, Luck, and Vanessa.

"I'll just go myself," I concluded. I placed the letter on his desk and then did a double-take. He would probably throw a fit if he found out before I left that I was going to take care of the problem.

I arrived in Hage village. Not one child was in sight.

I could see people shutting their curtains and locking their doors.

I sighed and activated my demon form.

"Are you (y/n) (l/n)?" I turned around and saw a priest.

"Father Orsi. I received your message."

He breathed in relief. "Come to the church. All the children are there."

I followed him into the church somewhat nearby and walked inside.

"Oh, children!" I saw a beautiful nun standing by the door. "Someone's come to help!"

Father Orsi looked as if he were to cry. "I'm so happy you arrived," he said quietly. "I trust you read the letter?"

I nodded. "I will help in any way that I can."

A couple of children ran up to me and tugged at my wings and tail.

"Ouch! Don't do that," I scolded them.

A male with sandy pink locks and purple eyes had a frown on his face.

"I thought Wizard King Nozel would send Asta- not that I miss him or anything,"

"Nash," Sister Lily frowned. "You know Asta is busy with his duty as a Magic Knight,"

Nash sighed. "I guess so. You look like the Wizard King's wife,"

I nodded. "That's because I am."

Everyone suddenly bowed. "Hello, Your Highness,"

"Huh?"

"You are a princess from the Spade Kingdom and the Wizard King's wife, are you not?" A girl with frizzy dark magenta hair said.

"I am, but I was raised poor," I said. "Also, I don't care for fancy titles."

"Glad to hear it." Father Orsi stood up and so did everyone else. "We need to discuss things. Nash, Recca, bring the rest of the children upstairs then come back down."

The two did as they were told and when they came back down, Sister Lily and Father Orsi had seated me at the large, worn-down table.

I could see marks that were obviously made by Asta since they said 'Wizard King' written in poor handwriting and the neater marks made by Yuno which said the same thing.

"Care for some tea?" Sister Lily asked.

I nodded. "That would be wonderful."

Nash and Recca came back into the room with serious faces.

Once everyone was seated and drinking their beverages, Father Orsi started to speak.

"It was about a month ago that we noticed something going on in the crops," he said. He nodded to Nash who came rushing back with a container. "It was almost as if they had minds of their own."

I looked into the container and saw a nomatatoe. It was dark red- but something else caught my attention.

Since I was in my demonic form, a weird shadowy-creature emerged from the tatoe and started to react. The creature started to hit the container and it started to crack.

"Ice Demonic Magic: Breath of Frozen Lake."

The creature screamed and it exploded in the container.

I let out a huff. "When did you first discover it?"

"One of the villagers here started to go berserk and refused to work the fields," Recca said. "We didn't think much of it since he was...odd. But then people started to change. When more people sat down to eat tatoes, they were found the next morning. Dead."

"Which is where you come in," Father Orsi said as he placed his hands together with a serious face. "I've been to the grimoire tower. Our keeper says that he believes only demons can handle demonic magic on a level that those of us- even Wizard Kings, can never hope to do."

And thus, began the final battle between demons and humans. (y/n) (l/n) Silva knew that it would end things as she knew it.

All for a grand ending on the stage set for a tragedy.
