"These are so amazing.." You thought to yourself while still making your trinkets made of flowers.

As you sat there in the middle of the field covered in flowers, you continued making a flower crown for two specific hedgehogs. You looked at the flower crowns you had made and thought of there was anything else to add to them. One crown was made of morning glory flowers, perfect to match Sonic. The other was made from pink peonies. You had chosen this color because you thought it would look adorable on Shadow.

Standing up with the other two flower crowns you had made, you began to walk back home holding them both gently in your hands. You had forgotten about the crown of roses that was on you head and began walking home with it on your head.

As you became nearer to your house you had noticed Sonic was sitting under a tree with his arms behind his head. He sat there with his eyes closed and breathing softly. He must have noticed you looking at him, cause when you started to walk towards him.

He smiled and noticed you had something in your hands. He looked at you and gave you a toothy grin.

"Hey (Y/N)! What do you have there?" Sonic asked while looking at the flower crowns.

"Oh hey Sonic.. Nothing much I just made something for you." You said while walking over to him and putting the morning glory flower crown on his head.

He smiled and chuckled softly at your little gift you had made for him. He stood up and stood proudly of the crown that was on his head. He looked at the other crown that was in your other hand and smiled.

"I'm guessing that one is for Shadow.. " Sonic said with a small smirk on his face.

You blushed slightly at his words and his face.

"Y-yes.. Well I'm going to try to give it to him." You said while walking into the house to find the ebony hedgehog in the living room, in the corner with his eyes closed.

He noticed you walk in and opened one of his eyes that looked up and down your body.

"Is there something you need..?" Shadow said trying to put on an annoyed tone.

You slowly walked towards him and gently set the crown on top of his head. He looked at you with a blank expression and just wondered what you had just put on his head.

You walked away and went back to your room peacefully. While you did that, Shadow walked over to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. The sight in front of him made him feel something he never felt before.

He felt loved.

He stared at the flower crown of pink peonies on his head. As he gently touched them he loved the feeling of these soft and delicate flowers on his head.

He walked out of the bathroom and saw Sonic giving him a smirk.

"So uh how do you like your present she made you?" Sonic said with a smile on his face.

"Shut the hell up.. " Shadow said while pushing him out of the way.

As Shadow started to walk away he felt something sharp touch his ear. He grabbed it and notice it was a chaos emerald. Shadow had realized that this was the 6th chaos emerald they needed one more.

"What are we gonna do when we leave and she's alone again?" Shadow thought to himself.
