Sophie POV

"No, Jake! I'm done with you! You can't do this!"I shout into my phone.

I rub a hand over my face and take a seat on my bed, next too a open suitcase.

"What? You aren't sure what you did? Okay, let me tell you again but this time too your understanding."I sigh.

"You talk to other girl.Other girl thinks you're single.You tell them you are single but plot twist, I'm your girlfriend!"I shout the last part and hit my hand against the inside of my open suitcase.

"Excuse me. That wasn't cheating?How stupid are you?"I ask.

"You know what? We're done.I'm dumping your ass."

"Oh, no one's done that before?I'm happy to be the first. Say hi to Courtney for me."I say and hang up.

What a asshole, I'm so glad we're done.

I'm not even sad, honestly.

He was hot sure but there was nothing behind that.

I should have listened to Kitty when she told me I shouldn't date him but like I said he was hot.

Anyway, let's get back to packing.

What too pack for boarding school?

I manage to finish packing and with much effort I close it.

Just as I finish zipping it closed my phone rings.

I look at the caller ID to see it's my best friend, Kitty.

As soon as I pick up the phone she starts squealing.

"Oh my word!  Tell me it happened and we're leaving this stupid place together."I say.

"IT HAPPENED!"she shouts and I start squealing too.

"What did your dad say?"I ask trying to calm down.

"I pulled up the power point we created last week and after a bit of convincing he said yes!"she exclaims excitedly and we switch over to FaceTime.

"Sophie, it's like destiny. I'm going to the same school my mom went too, I got the same scholarship as her and I'm going to spend the year with the love of my life."she puts her phone down and goes into her closet.

"Aren't you forgetting something important?"I tease.

"How could I? And I'm going to the same boarding school as my best friend, whose dad ironically also went there,"she appears on the screen again,"destiny."

"Yeah this is really just destiny. I'm so happy you're going to be with me honestly.I couldn't imagine going to school without you."I explain and  she nods her head.

"Imagine going to school without you best friend."we both pull a face.

"I take it you're also flying tomorrow?"I ask, knowing that they'd want her there as soon as possible and tomorrow was technically the only day you could fly and still get there on time.

"I take it your flying business?Not with us peasants in economy."she asks, teasing me.

"Nah I think I'll change my seat over to the peasant side, only because my peasant best friend is flying with them of course."I smirk and she rolls her eyes.

"Sure, anyway, I got too get packing and ask my dad too book the flight.We can sort out the seats at the airport."she runs a hand through her hair and I nod.

"Best of luck, see you tomorrow loser."I stick out my tongue and hang up.

I make sure I got everything done before going downstairs for dinner.

"Kitty got the scholarship, she's fly with me tomorrow.I need you too down grade me too economy please."I explain as I sit down.

"That's amazing, darling.You sure you don't just want us to upgrade her?"my mom asks.

"She would literally refuse to accept that, so no it's okay, I'll just suffer through the few hours."I sigh.

"So your not too mad at me anymore?"my dad ask cautiously, probably remembering our last conversation about this.

"Its toned down but still it wasn't okay that you saw Kitty's pamphlet and signed me up without asking."I stab my fork into my food.

"If Kitty hadn't gotten in, I'd be flying to Korea all on my own."

"Yes, fair enough, but either way it's going to be an amazing opportunity, trust me.I had an amazing time.Besides we'll take it semester by semester, if you don't like it then you can go."he nods to himself.

We do some more small talk about dad's charity matches and mom's new book release.

I soon go to bed and wake up early the next morning.

I quickly get ready, make sure I got everything with me and say goodbye to my bed one last time before going down for breakfast.

"I'm going too miss my little girl so much."Mom says kissing my head.

"I'll miss you too, mom."I sigh and hug her back tightly.

"I'm sorry I can't come with too the airport but I can't move this meeting and if I miss it it's going to set the publishing back for months."she explains hugging me tighter.

"Don't worry, mom it's okay."I say and hug her one last time.

Dad and I drive too the airport and when we get there we wait at the entrance for Kitty and her dad.

"I'm really sorry, Phie, but I knew if I asked you, you'd say no and I didn't want you to miss out on this."Dad says and puts an arm around me.

"It worked out so it's kinda okay and I'm not mad anymore, just annoyed."I grumble and watch the cars drive by.

"Maybe you can shop this annoyance out with the bit of money I put on your card."he suggests.

I look up at him and feel a smirk forming, "Now that's what I'm talking about."

I see kitty walk towards us from the corner of my eye and start running towards her, squealing.

She starts squealing too and soon quite a few people are looking at us.

We compose ourselves before we start squealing,

We chat on the whole way to the check in counter.

We book our seats and check in our bags.

We say goodbye's to our dad's and walk through security.

"I can't believe we're actually going to Korea together, nothing will ever beat this."Kitty hooks her arm in mine.

"Not even your first kiss with Dae?"I joke.

"Good point.I'll tell you when it happens."she laughs and we stand in the last check in line.
