So, I don't know if other fanfic writers do this, but when I write some of my stories I like putting little "Easter Eggs" into my stories. Some of them don't really effect the story. Simple things like lesser-known Cannon stuff, like: Shadow being Left handed, or that he has ACROPHOBIA- The fear of Hights.

       Sot this little bit is just me revealing some of the things I "hid" in the previous chapters. Have fun.

Ch. 1

Rouge's Code name: When Rouge and Shadow go undercover, her cover ID is, "Chela the Lasionycteris". The name, Lasionycteris, means the silver-haired bat ( Lasionycteris noctivagans)

Shadow's Code name: During the same mission Shadow's cover ID was, " Terios the Mink". During the development of "Sonic Adventures 2", Shadow's original idea name was going to be "Terios".

The Chaos Emerald: I did not clarify this, but the Emerald they're after IS NOT one of the 7 Chaos Emeralds, but a ARTIFICAL Emerald Eggman had created.

 Crepuscolo nascente: Its just a Hotel name I came up with, but it's Italian. It translates to "Rising Twilight".

Ch. 4 & 5

The title: 

Cortez the Mongoose: Cortez was a mobian who was rescued from a child trafficking ring, that Rouge mothered while he stayed with Team Dark. Cortez is a scraped character from the IDW "Sonic the Hedgehog" comics, but I based his appearance off of their base designed. 

Ch. 9

I like putting little details in my pictures.
