"Sandwich? It's tuna."

"Unless it's cheese, and it's not good. How about you? You' hungry? She motioned to the girl throwing up before looking at me, I shook my head, "No thank you doll." She gave a half hearted smile when a car came speeding down the road to park by ours.

"Charlie sends love, Angels." Bosley? "Who is she? Who is she?"

"Hey, she's in shock, and she smells like puke." I came to stand next to Jane who walked up ahead of me to stand in front of Bosley, "Who are you?"

"I'm Bosley."

"Bosley?" the little doe-ish girl was very, un-knowledgeable. "Bosley's a rank in our organization."

"It's like a lieutenant." I nodded at the girl when she looked at me, "The real name of the man you met was Edgar Dessange."

"Edgar."

"Jane, Iris, I'm really sorry." I nodded, It wasn't something I ever thought I would see in this organization, Bosley's were important members of the Angels and as an angel I knew first hand that any of us would take a bullet for any one of the Bosley's, they cared for us the most after all, and he was more important to me that anyone in this world. "I know how much he meant to you."

"Oh, I don't need a hug." I walked forward slinking my arms around Jane as Bosley joined in after me, "Well, I do."

"He was my friend too." I rubbed her back, "We'll get that asshole back Jane, I'll even let you take him out just let me play a bit roughly first." I felt her nod into my shoulder as she let out a sob, "Hugs work."

"Okay, let's get you cleaned up. Come on, is that a stolen car?" She didn't even wait for an answer as she nodded her head whispering to herself, "Okay." The drive was long but went past faster than I realized, I was stuck in my head the entire time thinking about what had just happened.

I watched Bosley open up the safehouse with the recognition panel, "Bosley, 342. Open Safe House 6." Me and Jane were sitting in our respective spots while Elena was taking a shower, I could hear the boiling water that Sabina was making for tea, "Boz, who else knew we were meeting with Elena in Hamburg?"

"Well, protocol would be not to tell anyone." But, the agency might have a file on it, possibly, "Why do you ask?"

"Well, Bosley...Edgar thought..." I put my hand on her shoulder as Sabina took over, "Okay, you didn't see this guy."

"He was a pro, and he brought a lot of firepower for such an easy target."

"Yeah, he was so extra, right? I could take that girl out with a flyswatter." I snorted, "He was a full on mercenary, you don't send a mercenary to take out one little lab chick, back in Egypt we came across someone like this, he's even rocking the same hand tattoo. Bosley worked with me on that one, although since he's retired now we can't ask him about any of that."

"Yea and he rocks up in this urban assault vehicle." Bosley's face turned weird when I had spoken of our retired Bosley until Sabina talked. "So we're thinking what? He was..."

"Maybe she was being watched... but what if we are?" I shook my head putting a bit more input, "It could be both but he was definitely watching her, that whole typewriter with the mirror shit plus the fact he was a mercenary."

"And by who?" I sat down on the arm of the couch with my cup of tea, "I've got that feeling Bosley, something is off by a long shot."

"Hey, you guys. All cleaned up."

"Feeling better?"

"Yes, thank you I'm kind of getting this, you know. You guys are like lady spies and..." I watched Sabina point to herself with a nod before Elena started to ask questions, "I just need you to explain who this guy is and why was he shooting at you." I snorted, "Oh you are adorable and oblivious."

"Oh, you." I wasn't surprised when the girls chimed in either, "He was shooting at you."

"Jane." Shit she was gonna freak out wasn't she? "At me?" She was sitting down onto the couch with a bewildered expression, shit. "Oh, God."

"Hey. Okay. Just have some tea."

"The shooter's a ghost. Facial recognition's popped him in a few places over the years but no name, no record, nothing. He's got friends in high places."

"I'm gonna kill him." I looked at Jane.

"I'm obliged to remind you, Charlie frowns on revenge, Jane." I scoffed, "No disrespect Bosley and none to Charlie, this is justice, Bosle-Edgar was family, as a Bosley he was family just like you are." I was annoyed and my emotions were finally peaking through as Bosley nodded at me sadly while Jane placed a hand on my shoulder. "He would have done the same for us." It was true he treated us like his daughters, all of us.

"So, Ms. Houghlin, your file says you are a systems engineer on the Calisto project."

"Uh, you know about Calisto?"

"We know about a lot of things. That you graduated top of your class at MIT, you take Krav Maga, you ride your bike to work." She's making us seem like stalkers, ahah the lab techs face right now, she's freaked out, "You think yellow is one of your colors when, in fact, it's no one's." Oh burn, I mean technically yellow is gorgeous on a few people.

"That you could be dating more if you played up the cheekbones in your online profile pictures. What we don't know is why someone wants you dead." I snorted at her. "I know it can be fixed." She's adorable.

"Let's take this one step at a time."

"There's a flaw in the system." Always has a flaw, that is why we're here, "What's the flaw?"

"Calisto can be weaponized. I mean, I can fix it. But right now, any decent hacker, curious or criminal enough, could turn Calisto into an EMP on the human body."

"An electromagnetic pulse."

"A brain seizure, essentially. See? I know stuff." I smiled leaning back, "Of course you do doll."

"It disrupts the neural networks and looks like a stroke or an aneurysm."

"So it can be used without a trace of evidence. A perfect assassination machine."

"Yeah. And it can be triggered remotely across the network that I created." Oh my fuck why do the smart ones always make mistakes this big, "Dope. See, that is what you can do if you pay attention in school."

"Who knows about this?"

"I filed a report after it almost killed my colleague during a security test, but I think it was buried. My report, not my colleague. No Julio is fine. He, uh... He just can't speak or see color anymore." her face went slack as she looked off into the distance. Geez that's tough. "But it's still dangerous, so chances are it could be an inside job, black market the usual." She blanched at my words before being turned around by Bosley, "It's not in production yet?"

"No, we're behind schedule, but there are six prototypes in the Brok facility vault, plus the one at my lab that I was using to program the fix, which..."

"Let's get those prototypes out of there."

"Uh, I'm sorry. Can we just hit pause for a second, please?"

"Does your company have a website with an employee directory with photos?"

"Yes, but Brok Industries is equipped with insane security." We had crowded around the computer leaving Elena on the couch by herself. "There's no way..." Bosley had hacked into the employee field pretty quickly overriding the security walls that were in place just a few second ago, "There we go."

"Do you think she still has security clearance?" Maybe but if not..."If she doesn't, we'll know the threat comes from within, so either way..."

"Well Ladies one thing's for sure this is gonna be a deep one, let's do it."

"We get the information we need."

"No, no, no." We all put in a bit of input in choosing a disguise "No, no." Yes, yes and yes, ugh god no, "Ooh! No."

"No, no, no. I..."

"Huh. Hm..." going through options was tough, we landed on a really good one though, "Bowl cuts. Bowl cuts."

"Bowl cuts."

"Bowl cuts."

"Huh always wanted to try a bowl cut." We gave each other looks before looking at the lab girl sitting on the couch confused by the words 'Bowl cuts', "Bowl cuts?"
