"I'll protect you," said Joochan seconds later after we had seen the horrofying letters on the paper, as he grabbed my hand softly. "I won't let anything happen to you." his eyes shone bright in the daylight coming from outside and I felt my heart skipping a beat. "Thank you," I softly responded as Jaehyun cleared his throat. "Well, it looks like our investigation is nog done yet," he said, "after all we don't know who wants to harm Rosaline." 

I glared at my friends as they seemed to be thinking about something, all with their own suspicions. I did too. As far as I knew, I had not deliberately made any enemies and no one had be particurlarly unnice to me. Though, I knew that the last few weeks had been so incredibly impactful and went through so many changes that maybe somewhere I did make one. 

"I know it might sound weird, but, I think I have figured something out." Daeyeol suddenly said and it helped me out my deep thoughts. "Move closer," he said as he lowered his voice, and we all moved a bit closer. "It seems Y and Bomin are in some kind of pact, right?" he wanted to confirm so we nodded, as he wrote something on a paper. "Look, Y and Seungmin are dating, aren't they? I've seen them walking aound. The thing is, I've known Y for a very long time and he never had shown anyone commitment so far. At first I didn't think much, but, now I think someone's trying to keep him away from you." Daeyeol suggested as I shared a look with Joochan, who had grabbed my had again. I was holding it firmly, as I had gotten scared a little bit.

"That's not all, right?" Jaehyun joined Daeyeols theory, "After a very long time, my stalker suddenly showed up at school. I had changed everything about my daily life to avoid him, yet somehow he suddenly found me? I think it was an attempt to drive you away too." Jaehyun said and it all started to make sense. "And then, Bomin tries to set up more conflict between Joochan and Jibeom so that they stay away from me," I completed the theory as we all fell back on our seats. "This is bad news," Daeyeol sighed, "It looks like someone is really trying to get to you. And our biggest suspect seems to be Bomin." 

We all stared at the clock that was softly ticking in the silence as Joochan pulled me closer towards him gently. "I will stay by your side, don't be afraid. I won't let Jibeom or anyone else distract me," he softly said and smiled and me as my cheeks lit up a bit. "Thank you, Joochan," I smiled and I felt my heart skipping a beat again. The way that I felt with Joochan was not at all how I ever felt with Jibeom. I mean, I felt comfortable with Jibeom, but when I was with Joochan my heart just... exploded.

"Hey you two," Daeyeol snapped his fingers to get our attention, "Maybe we should make a plan." I blushed a bit and nodded while quickly letting go of Joochans hand. "After all, Joochan, you can't be with her all the time." Joochan agreed and we started discussing about who was going to stay with me and when. In the end, we decided that at school, I would be with at least one of them and Joochan would bring me home every day. I smiled at my friends, they were so sweet to me.

"Thank you guys," i said with a smile, "I am really the luckiest girl in the world to have you take care of me," I thanked them again and smiled at them broadly. It truly made my heart warm that my friends looked after me like that. "What about the school dance, though?" Jaehyun asked as he pointed at one of the posters that had appeared in the school today. "It is in a week, maybe by then we have figured out who's trying to harm Rosa," Joochan said as my friends agreed with him. "Let's just try that." 

Then, the bell rang and we had to move to get to our classroom for the next period. To my surprise, Joochan was walking with me, taking me to my classroom while holding my hand. People gave us stares as girls started talking. I felt a bit embarassed but Joochan didn't even seem to notice as he just firmly held my hand and didn't want to let go once we were near my classroom. "Call me if something happens, I'll come to you." he stared in my eyes deeply before dropping me off and leaving me at the classroom, as I decided to sit next to Jibeom, who stared at me with a somewhat pissed look.

"Don't hang around him like that," Jibeom said, "because I want to," he pulled me next to his seat and hold my hand. "I know you told me that I would only get hurt.. but the truth is, I only get hurt more when I see you with someone else," he sighed. "You don't understand," I said, "I just can't be with anyone right now." I explained to him. I knew deep down inside I had feelings for Joochan but after all, Jibeom was my friend and I did kind off play with his heart. "I'm really sorry for everything Jibeom, but now is not the time. I don't know if I should tell you this, but because we're friends and I trust you.. I'm in danger." I softly told him as I didn't want anyone else to hear. 

"You're in danger?" his face looked a bit blank and he pulled me closer. "Tell me who it is and I'll beat them up." he said as I chuckled and shook my head. "That's the problem, I don't know who it is. Otherwise everything would've been so much easier..." I sighed and Jibeom patted my head. "Don't worry, I'll stay with you, too." 

Just when I was about to relax, I heard a loud sound and someone stumbled into the classroom. 

It was Daeyin.
