Jackson and Farrah walked into the kitchen, currently in a bickering match, while Ramona followed closely behind them.
"You can't just go into my locker." Jackson said to Farrah
"I was looking for my earbuds, which you took without asking." She argued
"How'd you even get into my locker?" He asked
The blonde girls rolled her eyes, "Your combination is one, two, three."
The duo both sighed and glared at each other, crossing their arms over their chests in defense.
"Mom, make Farrah stop invading my space." Jackson whined
"Dj, tell Jackson to stop stealing my stuff," Farrah said, then turned to him, "and admit it you'd be lost without me."
"Aren't they cute?" Kimmy whispered to Ramona
"Just like a married couple." Ramona said, making Farrah and Jackson turn red
"No we're not." They argued, refusing to stand down from their argument
"Awww" Kimmy, Dj, And Ramona sighed
Jackson turned Farrah around, and pushed her upstairs.
"Oh. So, we're done with that?" Farrah asked, sarcastically
"Yep." He said, smiling and serious.
___________
After their argument, Jackson tapped Farrah in his room and invited his friends over to play video games, while she played on her phone
Jackson turned the tv off after the game finished, leaving the room in momentary silence
"Hey Jackson. Did I tell you? I dumped Bethany." Popko mentioned, making Farrah look up from her phone
"How come?" Jackson asked
"She didn't blink enough." Popko said
"Wow, real cool buddy." Farrah added, rolling her eyes.
"I mean, she blinked some, but not enough." He said, "So, uh, I'm gonna take a shot at Ramona."
"No, Popko. Not after last time." The Hill girl argued, refusing to let him hurt her once again
"Popko, I don't think Ramona's that into you." Jackson said, agreeing with his best friend
"Deep down, all the ladies want a tub of hot buttered Popko." He smirked
"Ew." Farrah groaned, moving her attention back to my phone
"Plus, no babe can resist a man in a hat." He continued
"I can" Farrah noted, raising her hand
"Hey, Ramona!" Popko shouted, drawing the girl and Lola into the room
"What do you want?" She asked, stepping through the door
"Hey, Lola," Jackson said, putting on a hat, "I got a hat."
"Congratulations." She nodded with a sympathetic smile
Farrah stood up, and flipped it off his head to save him from any further embarrassment
"So, Ramona, you probably heard I'm single. Lucky you. And you're single, so...lucky me." Popko started, "So what do you say we hit the mall and share a Cinnabon?"
"I don't think so, Popko." She said
Farrah and Jackson smirked at each other, satisfied with the girl's response
"Perhaps I wasn't clear. You see, I just asked you on a date. You saw this, right?" He said, tilting his hat
"Yeah, but I also saw you with Bethany on the same day you kissed me, so pass." She noted, leading Lola out of the room.
Jackson and Farrah imitated the sound of a plane crashing, hiding their laughter from the embarrassed boy
"Dude, Ramona totally shot you down." Jackson said
"It's all good. Popko lives by one philosophy. Next!" He bragged, making Farrah sneer.
Jackson rolled his eyes at Popko's gross attitude towards Ramona
____________
Jackson and Farrah walked downstairs, looking for different people. He was trying to find Popko and she was trying to find Ramona, after they saw the video someone posted.
"Popko, where are you?" Jackson asked
Popko walked into the kitchen with a couple pizzas in his arms
"I hope your moms don't mind, I took a couple pizzas to go." He said
Farrah glared, knowing he posted the humiliating video of Ramona.
"Jackson!" Ramona yelled, "You're a little punk. You posted this video, seriously?"
"What are you talking about?" Jackson asked.
"This." She said, holding up the video of her as a hippo dancing.
Popko started laughing, triggering Farrah's anger even more than it already was—she was so close to physically hurting him
"Jackson, I thought you were a nice guy, but you're a jerk!" Lola said
"Hold on. Jackson's my best friend, and I know he'd never do something like this." Farrah defended, stepping up to the two girls
"She's right. I didn't do that! I couldn't even if I wanted to. I'm not tech savvy. I used to think that WiFi was a question." He said
"I know you're lying, but whatever. I'm not gonna let this affect me." Ramona said, walking away
"Where are you going?" Lola asked
"To my room for the rest of my life." She sighed, dragging herself up the stairs
"I'll go with you. Not for the rest of my life, but at least until my cello lesson." Lola said, "And Jackson, to think that once upon a time, I actually considered sorta kinda maybe liking you a little."
"Take down that video." Jackson said to Popko, once the two girls ran upstairs
"What are you talking about?" Popko asked
"We know you did it." Farrah said, "You didn't like it when Ramona shot you down."
"You can't prove anything." Popko argued
"You were in the bathroom with your phone for way too long." Jackson added
"Hey, I wash my hand thoroughly, it's flu season." He insisted, which none of them believed
"Hey, Popko!" Farrah called, as he made his way to the front door
"What?" He asked, turning around
She gently took the pizzas out of his hand and handed them to Jackson, giving him a small smile.
"You might not catch a flu, but try not catching this." She said, swinging her arm back and punching him in the nose, "Oh, that was a really bad line"
Popko held his nose in pain, before he ran out the door.
"That was hot." Jackson said, laughing a bit shocked.
Farrah smiled at him, while she rubbed her now sore hand.
______________
Later, Jackson and Farrah walked downstairs, smiling. They'd gotten Popko back in more than one way, and were extremely satisfied
"What up with this video of me?" They heard Popko ask Ramona
"What video of you?" Ramona asked, genuinely confused
He showed her the video of him skateboarding with a poop sound effect.
"Poopy Poopko?" She asked, laughing
"You're gonna be sorry for posting that Ramona." He said
"I didn't post it." She swore
"I did." Jackson said making everyone, including Farrah, look at him
"You did?" Popko asked, a bit shocked
"What goes around comes around. And farts." Jackson said, making a fart sound
All the girls laughed, making Jackson smile at his own achievements
"Not funny, punk!" Popko said, shoving him
Jackson shoved him back with a bit more force than the previous shove
"Whoop his butt." Farrah urged Jackson
"You wanna fight? Let's take this outside." Popko snapped
"I would but the pollen count is through the roof." Jackson said, "But you see how mad you are right now? That's how you made Ramona feel with that hippo thing."
"Wait, you posted that?" Ramona asked, turning her attention back to Popko
"What if I did? You deserved it." He said
"She absolutely did not." Farrah argued, very tempted to punch the boy again
"What did I do?" She asked
"You dissed him in front of his friends." Jackson said
"Just because someone says no to you, it doesn't give you the right to be a bully." She said
"Amen, sister." Farrah nodded, agreeing with her
"You really hurt my feelings." She continued
"Ok. I'm sorry." He said, "I just said I was sorry? I must really like you."
"Well, you have a funny way of showing it." Ramona said
"Look, let me make it up to you. There's a pizza with your name on it." He said, offering a small smile
"Maybe another time." She sighed, still a bit upset
"Another rejection? Man, I gotta get a new hat." He groaned, moving to leave
"I gotta go, too. But what you did for Ramona was really sweet." Lola said to Jackson
"I was just looking out for her, just like I do for Farrah." He said, making the blonde girl smile
Lola smiled and left the three to be alone,
"Thanks for having my back." Ramona said to Jackson
"I'm not the only one. Farrah punched him in the face." Jackson said, making Ramona laugh
"You're kinda like my sister." Jackson continued
"Well, you're kinda like my brother." She said "Why do I feel like we should hug?"
"Cause it's mandatory in this family. Come on, bring it in." Jackson said, hugging her
They pulled away, and waved their hands in a gesture to join them. Farrah smiled, quickly throwing herself into their hug
All three of the ladies walked in and awed at the sight in front of them.
______________
That night Jackson and Farrah were outside, looking for the basketball he'd lost multiple times before
"What you did for Ramona was really sweet." Farrah said, smiling at him
"I would have done it for you too." He confessed
"I know you would have." She said, patting his shoulder.
"That punch was awesome by the way." Jackson laughed
"It was, wasn't it." Farrah agreed, joining in on his laughter, "Jackson?"
"Yea-" He started, before she interrupted him
She moved forward and gently placed her lips on his. He kissed back, but it only lasted a moment before she slowly pulled away.
What was that for?" He asked, blushing
"I don't know. I... I'm sorry." Farrah stuttered blushing and rushing towards the door,
"Goodnight, Jackson."
