Raptor set the ship to travel into the past. Everyone settled down for the journey ahead of them. Onyx took a seat and rested their head on a table.

"So this is a time hole?" They heard Spada talking to Raptor.

"Yes."

"We're going further and further into the past!"

Onyx's ears twitched as they heard the sound of someone pulling up a seat to their table. They glanced up. Tsurugi had opted to come join them.

"Are you nervous?" Tsurugi asked them.

Onyx shrugged. "Not really. Just unsure what exactly we're going to stumble into by doing this."

"Will we see ourselves from the past?"

"Most likely..." Onyx didn't know how to feel about that. Everyone here might witness what they used to be like.

Their conversation was ended as an alarm blared. What now?

"Trouble! We appear to have stowaways on the Orion-gou!" Raptor announced.

"What? How did they get inside?" Champ questioned.

"Stowaways..." Onyx sighed, "Of course this trip couldn't be peaceful."

"I do not know where they are!" Raptor said.

The commander stood up from his chair. "Alright. Split up and search!"

"Okyuu!"

Everyone started to head out of the bridge to begin their search. Onyx stood up and began to follow, but paused at they noticed Tsurugi had yet to move.

"Tsurugi." Onyx called.

"My word..." Tsurugi sighed and then got up as well.

They ended up gathering Spada with them for the search. They ended up finding one in a communal room. Tsurugi kicked the indaver down on the ground. Its head fell off.

"Eh?!" Spada exclaimed.

"You can take that off?!" Tsurugi was equally as shocked.

"Just like a pistachio." Spada added.

"Is now really the time to be comparing things to food?" Onyx rolled their eyes. "Those helmets do in fact come off. Though, with how ugly the indavers look without them on it's better they keep them on."

"H-hey! Wait a moment, dabe!" The indaver seemed a bit offended by Onyx's comment.

"You can talk?!"

"Yeah. I can talk if my mask is off, dabe." The indabe replied, "When I wear this mask, I'm limited to what I can say."

"Eh? What do you mean?" Spada questioned.

Onyx just stood there with their arms crossed. Did they really have to deal with this stupid stuff right now? It was a bit stranger, they supposed. But did anyone really care that much about the indavers?

"To be honest. I'm the indaver you beat that one time."

"Oh, that one time... uh, which time?" Spada was confused now.

"You do realize how many indavers we beat on a daily basis. How are we supposed to know which one you are when you all look the same?" Onyx sighed.

The indaver made a frustrated noise at their words. Onyx just rolled their eyes.

"Why are you even on our ship?" Tsurugi questioned.

"We are looking for refuge on the ship. Four of us."

"Refuge?"

"Spada, tell the others the situation here, would ya?" Onyx requested as they grabbed the indaver and forced them to sit.

As Spada made the call, Tsurugi opted to try and shove the mask back on the indaver. The indaver was not having it.

"We found one of the intruders. He said four of them took refuge on this ship." Spada contacted everyone else.

"Yeah. This one says the same thing." Stinger replied, with noise of Champ beating up the indaver in the background.

"So that means there's still one more on board." The commander said, "For now bring the captured indavers to the bridge."

"Okyuu."

Somehow instead of doing what the commander said, they ended up having a conversation with the indaver. Onyx wasn't very interested in this whole conversation, but listened.

"We are Inda, a life form created by Jark Matter." The indaver said, "When we wear the mask, we are forced to work at indavers, dabe. It's nothing but overtime and we never get time off!"

The indaver was frustrated as they spoke. Onyx could barely contain a laugh. What did they expect from Jark Matter? They weren't very nice to the low-ranks at all.

"Must be tough to be an indavers." Spada commented, glancing over at Onyx. "Does Jark Matter really not give them anything?"

"Why would they? They're some of the most expendable of their forces. Who cares if one dies when you can just make more of them at the snap of your finger?" Onyx replied, "That's their fate. All they were ever created to be."

"My word..." Tsurugi commented.

"I got fed up working there... so my friends and I came on this ship to ask for help." The indaver continued.

Likely story. Onyx doubted that was the truth in the slightest.

"For help?" Tsurugi repeated, "Hey, how did you get on this ship?"

"Good question." Onyx said, "How the hell did you get here?"

"Well, to be honest... while you guys were taking a break... we snuck on board. It was easy!" The indaver explained.

"My word! I didn't notice at all!"

"I let my guard down..." Spada said, before looking back at the indaver. "So, when did we first meet?"

Onyx didn't really know what happened, but the indaver did show them all who they were. It was something Onyx really didn't want to question at this point and just went along with it. There were plenty of other important things to deal with than logistics like this.

Somehow that display brought Spada to start talking about Lucky and everything that happened because of his outgoing nature. That kid certainly had a pretty big role to play in things falling into place as they had. There was no denying that much.

"Maybe we were all drawn by Lucky's strong luck." Spada was concluding.

"My word." Tsurugi seemed excited about the story. "I knew Lucky was amazing, but hearing about that makes him legendary."

The two of them launched into a conversation more about the beginnings of the Kyurangers. Onyx just sighed. Why were they deciding now was the time to do this? And in front of an indaver? Just what was going on...?

"Have fun. I'm going to see what's going on elsewhere on the ship." Onyx got up and walked away. They had better things to be doing than listening to a tale they already knew.

They started searching around the ship to see where everyone else was. There was still an indaver who wasn't accounted for yet. That might be something they should look into figuring out. Before they got up to more chaos.

Onyx wandered upon Stinger and Champ. They were still beating up the indaver. Onyx walked up to them.

"Jeez, brutal much." Onyx commented.

Before either could reply, they heard the commander's voice. "Hold up!"

An indaver came running into view, with Shou in pursuit. Well, they found the last indaver.

"Stop right there! Here I come!"

"Found the other one?" Champ walked up to block the indaver from getting away.

"Nice, Champ! You're trapped! There's nowhere to run!" The commander stated.

He ran forward to grab the indaver, but suddenly there was a crack and he seemed in pain. "Ow..."

"Dabe!" The indaver ran past him and away.

"Hey!" Champ yelled. "Are you okay, commander? What are you doing?"

"Guess I have no choice..." Stinger went after the indaver.

"Hey, partner!" Champ called after him. "Commander, take care of this one."

Champ went after Stinger. Onyx rolled their eyes and walked over to the commander.

"You good?" They questioned.

"It's hopeless..." The commander was repeating what Stinger said. "Hey! Did you call me hopeless!"

The indaver also came over to them. "Are you okay?"

"Who are you? Why did you take refuge of this ship?" The commander questioned the indaver.

"We want to join you, dabe!" The indaver said.

Very likely. Onyx scoffed to themself.

"Join? You guys want to join?!" The commander repeated.

"I was jealous of how many comrades you have and how deep your bond is!" The indaver said.

"You were watching us?"

The indaver nodded and then somehow showed back with they had met them as well. Onyx sighed. Was this about to lead into another reminiscing moment? Couldn't they escape that? Apparently not as the commander also started going on about the past. Telling the tale of how they got Kotaro on the team and what happened because of his involvement.

"Can you get up?" The indaver was trying to help the commander to his feet now.

Onyx offered some support as well. Thankfully, Shou was able to stand again. Onyx made a mental note to tell Raptor about the incident when they had a chance. She should probably know and keep an eye on him.

"So with 11 members, our bond became even stronger." Shou concluded, "I wonder if those left on Earth are doing okay?"

"Worry about our situation first, commander." Onyx grumbled, "We were supposed to be bringing our stowaways to the bridge."

"Ah, right, right."

Eventually they managed to get back to the bridge. The commander was struggling to walk still. Onyx sighed. This situation was just getting worse by the minute. Would they even stand a chance at accomplishing what they had set out to at this rate?

The commander placed his hands on his chair arms and leaned over it. Raptor was checking on him now. Slowly but surely everyone else brought the other indavers to the bridge as well. The four of them sat down against a wall.

"Good work, everyone." The commander said.

"Are you okay, commander?" Champ questioned.

"I'm not." He replied.

"I think you moved too suddenly." Raptor stated.

"Now what do we do with them?" Spada questioned, "They seemed reformed. I want to help them."

"Eh? Don't be naïve. These are indavers." Tsurugi replied, "Dump them in the time hole."

"Okay... I don't think we need to be that brutal." Onyx stated, "But yeah, I don't trust what they say at all."

"But they've suffered under Jark Matter." Spada walked over to where the indavers were. "I feel sorry for them."

Tsurugi grabbed Spada. "Hey. What are you saying?"

"What I said..."

"What do you guys think?" Tsurugi asked the rest.

"Maybe we don't need to dump them?" Champ offered.

"See!" Spada nodded to Champ.

"Huh?" Tsurugi did not like that he was not being agreed with.

"We might be able to make them spill some info on Don Armage." Stinger offered his opinion on the matter as well.

"Impressive!" Raptor commented, "Just the type of thing a spy would say!"

"Inconceivable!" Tsurugi was still not happy with the outcome. "If you act naïve like that, it'll trip you up eventually."

Onyx walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Tsurugi, I really doubt these indavers are much of a threat to us if we let them live. Come on, give it a break."

"Even you..."

"I don't see why we need to be that cruel to them. If they start shit, then by all means I don't care what you do to them. But, how about we just let this play out for a bit, okay?" Onyx continued. They had a feeling these indavers were on the ship for other reasons and wanted to confirm before they did anything rash.

Just as they finished that thought, an alarm rang out again. The video screen turned on and another indaver showed up on it. Onyx sighed. So they had been right. There was something nefarious going on here.

"What a shock!!" The commander exclaimed.

"What? There's another one?" Champ said.

"I knew it. There was more to this." Onyx stated.

"There were actually five of us, dabe!" The new indaver said.

The other four indavers quickly rushed up to the front of the ship. This was not going to end well, was it? They were going to do something annoying and set all of their plans back. Nothing ever was going to be easy about this.

"Fools! You bought me enough time!" The indaver continued.

"What are you talking about?" Stinger questioned.

"It can't be! That's the main computer room!" Raptor exclaimed.

"Oh boy..." Onyx crossed their arms. This was about to get a lot more exciting than just chasing the indavers around had been.

"Akyanba-sama ordered us to infiltrate this ship, dabe! All while you guys were on your break!" The indaver said.

So that was when they snuck on? Didn't this ship have better protection systems built in to stop things like that? Just because nobody was on it doesn't mean it should have been easy for anyone that wasn't welcome to find a way on either.

Onyx heard the others having an argument about the carelessness in the background, but was paying it no mind. They were more concerned with how the indavers managed to get on an remain undetected until now. That was a very big safety concern for the future.

The indaver started clapping to get everyone's attention again as none of them were listening to it. "Listen to me!"

"Shut up!" The others were still more concerned about their argument than the indaver.

The indaver started talking again anyway. "Our mission is to prevent you from reaching your destination era, dabe."

Everyone made surprised noises and actually gave the indavers their attention again. Onyx was barely paying them mind. They were starting to wonder if they should go and cut down the indavers that were standing in front of them before they could get too far.

"By completing this mission, we'll be promoted to tsyuoindavers!"

The screen shut off and the four indavers began pressing buttons. Before they knew it, the ship was off course and crash landing in another time. They all stumbled out of the ship except for Raptor. She stayed behind to check out the damage.

"Raptor, what's the deal?" The commander asked her.

"Minimal damage." Raptor replied, "Now that they're gone, I'll restore the system."

"Please do." The commander replied, "Now then... we... eh?!"

Everyone turned around at a loud roar. A dinosaur stood in the distance. Just where did they end up at?

"Commander!" Spada went to check on the commander after the scare.

"So that's Don Armage?" Stinger said.

"Let's go-" Champ started walking up to him.

Onyx moved and stood in front of both of them. "Hold on now. I'm pretty sure a dinosaur is not Don Armage. I don't even know if he existed in whatever year this currently is."

"At any rate, this isn't the target destination era." Tsurugi joined their conversation. "This wouldn't have happened if we had dumped them like I wanted!"

"But if we had dumped them, then that last indaver would've not shown itself and could've caused severe damage to the main computers instead." Onyx argued.

"Calm down, no point in arguing about it now." The commander cut everyone off from continuing this fight.

Don't order me around!" Tsurugi complained.

Unfortunately, they still dissolved into another argument. Onyx took in a deep breath. They were trying very hard to not lose their cool right now. Tsurugi was so getting whacked over the head for his behavior when they got a moment of peace.

"Hey you!" The indavers came back into play.

Everyone looked at them. It was obvious the indaver was talking to Tsurugi right now.

"Hey, maybe you should act on your own instead of letting them drag you down." The indaver said.

"What?" Tsurugi was equally as confused as everyone over what was going on now.

"I heard you were quite strong, dabe." The indaver continued, "They're just in your way, dabe."

How was Tsurugi going to respond to this? Onyx was intrigued. They had definitely gotten over those types of feelings in the group. What would he say to the indavers?

"Yeah. It's true that they're in the way." Tsurugi said, glancing back at everyone.

"That's right. They're in the way, dabe!"

Tsurugi met eyes with Onyx for a moment. Onyx realized what he was doing. So that was how he was playing this out?

"Yeah. In the way." Tsurugi repeated.

"That's right, dabe!" The indaver turned back to look at its friends. "Isn't that right, dabe?"

The rest of the indavers made noises of confirmation.

"But." Tsurugi turned back around to face the indavers. "So what?"

"Eh?' The indaver was stunned by his words. Onyx could barely contain a laugh.

"So what if I have to drag them along to save the galaxy? That's also a legend." Tsurugi continued, "In other words, I fight with them. That's my decision. They're needed in my legend."

"So we're just the legend's assistants?" Stinger said.

"If you say so, I guess we have no choice." Champ said, "Shall we join in, partner?"

"If we use this spice, I'm sure the food will be legendary." Spada added on.

"Just to remind you, I'm the commander here." Shou said.

Onyx walked up to stand beside Tsurugi. "We have a promise to fulfill to an old friend. This legend has just begun."

"We've got to fight, dabe!" The lead indaver exclaimed. "If we defeat you here, we might get promoted straight to chief retainers, dabe!"

"I would love to see that happen." Onyx laughed.

The rest of the group lined up in a row.

"Maybe you shouldn't overdo it?" Champ said to the indavers.

"Shut up!" The indaver yelled in reply, "We'll show you that we have the better teamwork, dabe."

The indavers huddled into a group, mumbling to themselves. Just what were they going to try and do now? They too moved to stand in a line once the huddle was done.

"Dabe Red!"

"Dabadabe! (dabe blue)"

"Dabedabe! (dabe black)"

"Dabedabe! (dabe yellow)"

"Dabedabe! (dabe commander)"

"The Ultimate Indavers! Jark Sentai Goin!"

They made a group pose, but the explosions that came with the poses for some reason knocked them all back.

"Why, dabe?"

"What are they doing?" Stinger asked as he crossed his arms.

"Even they've realized how stupid our intro calls are." Onyx chuckled in reply.

"Don't get cocky!" Shou stated and moved forward. "This is my time to shine!"

"Commander, please don't overdo it!" Raptor yelled from the ship.

"We don't need to change for you guys!" The commander continued, ignoring Raptor's warning.

"Eh?"

"Listen to me..." Raptor was not happy about being ignored.

"Let's go, everyone!" Shou exclaimed, before doing his pose. "Dragon Mastar! Ryu Commander!"

Everyone glanced at each other and just shrugged. Might as well go with it. He was their commander after all.

"Poison Star! Sasori Orange!"

"Ring Star! Oushi Black!"

"Food Meistar! Kajiki Yellow!"

"Space Bustar! Houou Soldier!"

"Uh..." Onyx paused for a second to think. "Dark Star. Kogitsune Brown."

They were very used to just saying whatever kyutama they used. What were they meant to say when they weren't using a kyutama?!

"The Ultimate Saviors! Uchu Sentai-" The commander's back gave out on him again.

"Kyuranger!" Everyone just ignored it and went on with the intro call.

"Commander, please don't overdo it." Spada said to him.

"Yeah..."

"Bear witness, a legend is about to begin." Tsurugi stated.

Tsurugi, Stinger, Champ, and Spada ran to go fight the indavers.

"Hey, wait!" The commander yelled.

Onyx sighed and crouched down beside him. "You should've listened the first time."

"Just help me up, will you?" Shou requested.

"Say please and maybe I will." Onyx hummed teasingly.

"Please help me up, Onyx..."

"Better." Onyx grabbed Shou and drug him back to his feet.

By the time they had done that, the other four had managed to toss the indavers into a pile. And those guys really thought they could defeat the Kyurangers just like that? What a joke.

"Indeed, we didn't even need to change." Stinger said.
