The Birthday Box is a children's story about a King who wants to throw a magnificent birthday party for his son, the Prince. The King feels guilty for being away on royal business and wants to make up for his absence by surprising his son with a celebration of epic proportion. In his search for the perfect party, he encounters an elf with a magical box called the Birthday Box.With the help of the box, the King succeeds in throwing the best party for his son that the kingdom has ever seen. By simply singing "Happy birthday to you" in the presence of the box, knights and jesters and clowns and even a dragon are conjured up to entertain the young Prince. At the end of the day, the Prince is thrilled and the King is pleased with himself for making his son so happy.The morning after, the Prince wakes up and decides to sing "Happy birthday to you" to the box once more, just to see what happens. To his great surprise and pleasure, the box throws another party that is even grander than the first. Day after day, he throws parties for himself in his private wing of the castle, each one more fun than the last. Unfortunately for the young Prince, the parties are not without consequence. The King is again away on business, and when he returns and realizes his son's folly, he has to make everything right before it is too late. In the process, both the King learns valuable lessons about love, life and family.…
