On All-Hallows-eve night, a haunting phenomenon grips Mobotropolis as ghostly apparitions terrorise the streets. Dr. Eggman, always scheming to conquer Mobotropolis, stumbles upon ancient texts describing a powerful spectral force known as Umbrathar. Believing he can control this entity to serve his own ambitions and create mindless servants, Eggman uses his tech to summon and harness Umbrathar's shadowy powers.
