Years ago the planet Earth was starting to fail due to over population. Women were cut off from having kids, only allowed to have one but only if they were from the higher up families. Instead of spending money on making the planet better our government decided that it was best to put the money into making space ships. They spent years and billions of dollars making them large enough to fit hundreds of people. Volunteers went out into space to search for other planets that were able to substantiate life.
