The Alchemist is considered the most useless of all the 5 classes offered in the Virtual World of 'Hell's Gates'(Warrior, Archer, Mage, Cleric, and Alchemist). Having little to no Combat Skills, and relying on real-world Chemistry Knowledge (a Lost art of sorts,) to make anything more than the most basic potions, they are very rarely seen past the first or second level, because most people change their class after seeing its uselessness. Still, this class allows Sam to spread her literal and proverbial wings as a Chemist and Inventor in a world where such a skill set is actually very valuable! Of course, with the rarity and value of their skills comes a plethora of problems, and most don't last very long at all, but Sam is determined, damn it! Hopefully, being stubborn and lucky in equal portions will be enough to survive and thrive in the world of Hell's Gates?(((Complete!!! Perhaps there'll be a Book Two if this gets enough attention???)))…

It took a vagary syndicate of craftsmen one season to survey theplace, the breadth of the base floor was about 10 kilometers-largecapacious of fitting the entirety of Wellington within. Above there were100 floors stacking straight skyward; its sheer size was astonishing. It was absurd to even predict how much knowledge it consisted of. Indoors there were a couple of large cities along with innumerouscramped scale towns and villages, meadows and plains, and even lakes. Only one stairway joined each floor to another, and they prevail only in oubliettes where excessive numbers of creatures wandered; so exploring and getting through was no child's play matter. However, once someonemade a breakthrough and reach a city of the upper floor, the Teleport Gates there and of every cities in the lower floors would be linked making it possible for anyone to move at one's discretion through these levels. With these circumstances, the oversized castle had been firmly subjugated for two generations. The current front line is the 74th floor. The name of the castle was Aincrad, a world of combats with blades that continued hovering and had engulfed approximately 6thousand people. Otherwise known as Sword Art Online.The world takes the form of a giant floating castle called Aincrad, with 100 floors in it. Each floor has a medieval-themed setting and a dungeon with a boss, which has to be defeated before players can advance to the next higher floor.Like most RPGs, it implements a level-based system. However, after the beta testing, the game's creator activated a system to trap the players inside the game, unable to log out; if players die in-game, or the helmets they used are removed, a strong electromagnetic pulse is emitted, destroying their brain and killing them in real life.Of the 10,000 players in the game, 3,853 are killed, over half of those in the first month.…
