As an autistic person myself, I decided to write what I think it would be like to be an autistic person in the world of X-men, and explore how I think the characters would perceive them. So this will be set during First Class, but the reader insert will be on the autism spectrum. I apologise in advance for any inaccuracies but this will be based on my own personal experiences. Please enjoy and I will try to be as accurate as I can to the X-men canon!! 6 Parts Piece for Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month 2020 titled "A Female on the Spectrum: The Differences That Make Autism; More a Superpower than a Disability" National Autism Awareness/Acceptance Month is April. 2020 theme is celebrating differences. So I used that as inspiration to come up with the title of this year's piece. All the quotes are labeled by who said them to best of my abilities and all photographs were taken by me. This is the fourth year that I have done something for Autism Awareness Month. But more people on the spectrum are doing more things to make sure April is Autism Acceptance Month. There is so many reason why I actually make sure to share my story and definitely with what is going on in the world, we all could use some more understanding kindness, and love for way we are."She did not change. She just found the courage to stop being what she was not."-Brooke Hampton…

Hope, a young girl with Autism, is trying to find acceptance for herself as someone with equal matter. She's a new Pokémon Trainer that isn't understood by anyone except her Pokémon... even bullied for her differences by everyone except her family, Officer Jenny, Nurse Joy, and her first and only Pokémon! Yes, the very Ash who is the Alolan Champion and the World Coronation Series Monarch... what does he do when he realizes that she is inexplicably different? Will Hope be able to find what she's looking for... a real friend who accepts her as she is? One her own age that she can have a conversation with... one that actually accepts her and is just as human.(Hope's family, Officer Jenny, and Nurse Joy take care of her and trust her but don't really accept her for who she really is so she just pretends. Her Partner Pokémon accepts her and is fully aware of the real Hope.)★ I do not own Pokémon★ I own no images★ I own no characters except the character of Hope★ I own the story line and plot★ Hope is partially based off of myself since I have Autism★ This is from the perspective of HopeStarted on Febuary 9 2024…

As a general rule, very few people who do not have autism have any idea how the condition actually affects people. That being said, this is nobody's fault considering the fact that very few people, those affected included, fully understand the condition. However, I would like to explain what aspects of it that I can. This is something that I have wanted to do for a while now and I finally worked up the nerve to do after I was told that, "everyone is a little autistic, just like everyone is a little gay." I feel like the person who said this didn't mean anything bad by it, just that we're all a little different but it jolted me into action and this book was born. I will be making a few posts about certain aspects of the condition myself, but I am also here to answer any questions that people may have.…
