This was not what MK was expecting when he asked the Macaque to be his teacher. This apartment was made out of those Shipping containers. The space felt a lot bigger inside than it actually was. Macaque was dressed a lot more casual than Monkey King, in fact, Macaque's seemed to have a preference for baggy clothes. Macaque welcomed MK in with open arms, he was always seemingly nervous but also seemed like he saw MK as a friend despite both of them meeting an hour ago. "Alright, the first lesson is pretty simple, good for beginners I think." and that was the second thing MK didn't expect. The monkey liked to play video games.He didn't know how to react when Macaque betrayed him.Now there are days when he feels like green eyes follow him in the shadows... Until a demon decided to attack the mountain and MK and Mei forcefully woke Macaque and Monkey King from their meditation in desperation...β¦
During a battle, Macaque gets injured, the group does not yet trust Macaque and is still skeptical so they leave the monkey king to watch over him, not only to make sure he is well healed but also so he doesn't run off or do anything destructive. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.β¦

When Pigsy both sent the two out for noodle deliveries, MK went to deliver his stack of noodles, while you did your deliveries, and while you did your deliveries, you found a staff, for a second, you thought it was Monkey King's staff, but it was black highlighted with gold. Without thinking, you picked it up and felt a surge of power through you, and that's when you met Macaque. He looked almost like Monkey King, but with black fur. He saw the staff in your hands and explained to you that only he could pick it up, but when he saw you holding it, he decided to take you under his wing, and make you his successor. So from that point, you trained to be a warrior and fought demons along with your brother.A/n-The reader has the exact same powers Macaque has, like aquatic breathing, enhanced hearing, Shadow Manipulation, Shadow Cloning, Shadow Monkeys, Shadow Transportation, Shadow Hiding, Smoke Generation, and shape-shifting.(And when it gets to season 3, maybe Lady Bone Demon Powers)β¦
