Today has been a normal Thursday at the Grassi-Hoying household!

Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are all at school for the day! The six of them go to school three days a week and have virtual school two days a week!

Scott, Joel and Gabriella have been outside playing all morning! Joel loves to play with chalk and Gabriella loves to sit on the swing!

Mitch has been busy doing laundry and work while Scott kept the two younger Grassi-Hoying's occupied!

Scott, Joel and Gabriella all happily walk into the house after a fun morning outside!

"Did you have a fun morning day outside?" Scott asks Joel as he cleans up Joel's hands.

"Uh huh!" Joel says with a cheeky smile.

"Did you have fun too, Gabriella?" Scott asks Gabriella as he cleans up her face and hands.

"Ba ba ba ba ba!" Gabriella says happily at Scott.

"Good! Let's go watch some TV?

"YES! Wet's go! Wet's go!" Joel says as he happily runs into the playroom as Scott and Gabriella happily follow him!

But without Scott knowing it, a female gray and white cat carefully sneaks into the Grassi-Hoying and walks into the living room!

A few minutes later, Mitch walks into the living room and he sees a white and gray cat sitting down in his favorite chair.

"OH MY GOSH!" Mitch says as he screams loudly.

"Mitchy! Are you okay?" Scott asks Mitch in a worried tone.

"Scott! Look!" Mitch says as he gasps loudly.

"What is it, Mitchy? What is it?" Scott asks Mitch curiously as he and Gabriella walk over to see what Mitch is yelling about.

"Look!" Mitch says as he points at the cat sitting in the chair.

Scott looks at the cat in confusion, wondering where the cat came from.

"Where did this cat come from, Mitchy?" Scott asks Mitch curiously as he holds Gabriella.

"I have NO idea!" Mitch says to Scott playfully.

"I guess she followed us inside. I left the sliding glass door open while I cleaned Joel and Gabriella up from being outside.

"I guess she did! She must have known Luther back in the day!" Mitch says playfully as he and Scott both laugh.

"A CAT! A CAT!" Joel says in excitement, causing Mitch and Scott both smile.

"Yeah! That is a cat, baby! Don't touch it, okay? This cat isn't ours." Mitch says softly to Joel.

"The cat is so tute and ours!" Joel says as he jumps up and down.

"The cat is cute, huh?" Scott asks Joel playfully.

"Ya! Tute!" Joel says with a cheeky smile.

"Ba ba ba ba!" Gabriella says as she claps her hands.

"Yeah!" Scott says in a babyfied voice, making Gabriella smile and giggle.

"And the cat isn't ours! Unless Papa let's us!" Mitch says as he smiles at Scott.

"Six cats? We are crazy! And I have been wanting another dog." Scott says playfully as he laughs.

"I'll get us two dogs if we can keep this sweet girl. Please?" Mitch says as he pouts a little at Scott, making Scott smile.

"Fine, we can keep it. If she gets along with everybody." Scott says as Mitch cheers causing Joel to cheer too!

Mitch carefully walks over to the cat and picks it up. The cat instantly purrs and enjoys Mitch's presence a lot

"Meow." The cat says softly making Mitch, Scott, Joel and Gabriella smile.

"Hi, baby. Hi! You are so sweet and gentle!" Mitch says happily to the cat as he pets it.

"Is it a boy or a girl cat?" Scott asks Mitch and Mitch looks between the cat's legs.

"It's a girl cat! My goodness! All we have is boy cats!" Mitch says with a chuckle.

"Aww." Scott says with a cheeky grin at Mitch and the cat.

"Wanna pet her, Joel? You can!" Mitch asks Joel.

"Ya!" Joel says as he runs over to Mitch and the cat.

"Be gentle, Joel. Gentle with her." Scott says softly to Joel with a smile as he bounces Gabriella in his arms.

Mitch carefully let's Joel pet the cat and Joel giggles loudly.

"Soft! Soft!" Joel says as he smiles at Mitch and Scott.

"Yeah! She is soft isn't she?" Mitch says with a babyfied voice.

"We should take the cat to the vet to get checked out before she meets the other animals, Mitchy." Scott says as Mitch nods in agreement.

"I'll take her to the vet. Do you mind?" Mitch asks Scott and Scott nods. 

"Sure! That sounds good! I think these two need a n-a-p!" Scott says to Mitch making both of them smile.

Mitch kisses Joel, Gabriella and Scott before calling the vet and taking the cat there!

While Scott stays home with Joel, Gabriella and the Grassi-Hoying pets Wyatt, Ollie, Luther, Olivier, Nino, Daisy, Lucy, Tux, Bubba, Winter and Snow, Mitch takes the cat to the vet to get checked out!

- Two Hours Later -
After being at the vet for almost two hours for a full blown checkup, Mitch and the white and gray cat are finished at the vet and are heading home!

Mitch happily vlogs himself holding the gray and white cat in his arms as he walks over to his car!

Mitch opens the front car door and sits the cat on the passenger seat before he sits down in the drivers seat and closes the car door!

"Alrighty guys! We are finished with this little girl's vet appointment! We have a happy and healthy cat! She is about two years old and she hasn't been spayed yet, which is really surprising! The vet was really shocked that she has never gotten pregnant so they think that she was someone's pet before. We checked for a microchip and she doesn't have one. So the vet had put her picture out there to see if she has a family out there but if she doesn't, I think Scott and I might keep her. I'm hoping Scott let's us!" Mitch says as he smiles at the cat.

"Scott has been really wanting another dog or even two for a while now! If he let's me keep this cat I'll have to find a dog or two for him to make it even and fair! He is a dog person and I'm a cat person! However, we love all of our pets very very much!" Mitch says with a cheeky smile.

"Well, let me take this girl back home! She had a long day at the vet and she is sleepy as you can see. She is such a sweet girl. I'll see you guys later!" Mitch says with a big smile as he turns the vlogging camera off.

Mitch goes to Starbucks to het himself and Scott a drink and he gets Joel a cake pop before heading home!

- An Hour Later -
Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia are now home from school!

"ANOTHER CAT!" Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer and Amelia all say in unison with big cheeky smiles.

"We are turning into crazy cat people!" Liam says as he laughs.

"Aww! I love him already!" Hudson says with a humungous smile.

"It's a she! A pretty baby girl! She came into the house this morning with Papa, Joel and Gabby!

All of the kids cheer knowing that the cat is a girl because they already have five boys cats!

"She and Luther must be friends! Look how cute they are!" Isabella says Mitch and Scott.

"Yeah! They must have known each other some how!" Sawyer says as she giggles and smiles.

"What's her name?" Liam asks curiously.

"Yeah! What's her name?" Sophia asks with excitement.

"Daddy named her!" Scott says with a grin.

"Her name is Dahlia!" Mitch says causing all of the kids to cheer and get excited!

For the rest of the day, Mitch, Scott, Liam, Hudson, Sophia, Isabella, Sawyer, Amelia, Joel and Gabriella all hang out and get to know the girl cat!

- A Few Days Later -
"Look who is still here with us! It has been a few days now!" Mitch says in a babyfied voice as he vlogs the white and gray cat sitting on his lap and she is purring.

"Meow. Meow. Meow." Dahlia says softly out loud, making Mitch smile ear to ear at the vlogging camera.

"She is such a sweet girl. I love her so so much." Mitch says with a cheeky grin as he softly kisses Dahlia's head.

"Hiiiiiiii!" Joel says happily to the vlogging camera and to Mitch.

"Hi, baby boy! Whatcha doing, baby?" Mitch asks Joel as he fixes Joel's wild dark brown hair he always has since he is an active toddler boy now a days.

"Just pwaying wif twrains! Choo choo choo!" Joel says as he holds up his favorite yellow train to the vlogging camera.

"Choo choo! Choo choo!" Mitch says as he softly kisses Joel's cheek and Joel smiles at him.

Joel then tenderly pets Dahlia's head and she purrs loudly at him.

"Aww, she loves you, bud!" Mitch says with a big smile at Joel.

"Wuv, Dah too!" Joel says as he giggles and smiles at Mitch and at Dahlia.

"Tell everybody her name, Joelly! Go ahead!" Mitch says as he hugs Joel and Joel hugs him back.

"It's Dah wia!" Joel says as he claps his hands with excitement.

"Dahlia! That's right!" Mitch says happily and proudly to Joel.

"For those who are wondering, yes we are keeping her! Scott fell in love too and seems at home with us, which we love that. She picked her home just like Luther did!

She is our only girl cat but she gets along great with the five boys cats we have but I think she loves our kittens Olivier and Nino the most!" Mitch says as he giggles.

"She has to get spayed so she will be spayed in a few weeks! The vet wants her to gain a few pounds first! But she is so sweet and we love her so much. Oh and the vet was shocked that she wasn't pregnant or has been pregnant in the past since she was a stray so the vet thinks she was maybe somebody's pet before. But she is our pet now!" Mitch says as he kisses Dahlia again.

"And Scott is laying down in bed upstairs because he is really tired from his Covid shot. We got our first shot a few days ago. I felt a little tired but Scott is really tired, poor babe." Mitch says as Dahlia licks his face making Mitch laugh.

"Well, I an going to end this vlog here! I hope You guys enjoyed it! And welcome to the family, Dahlia!" Mitch says as hold Dahlia close before turning the vlogging camera off!

Dahlia is officially the newest member of the Grassi-Hoying family! :)
