In the bakery, the line has 4 people left, Mulan boxed up a box of pistachio macarons and handed them to Sabine.

Sabine: (taking the box) Thank you, Mulan. Here you go, ma'am. One dozen pistachio macarons.

Female customer: (taking the box) Thank you. *She walked out of the bakery. Then, a female customer, holding her son's hand walked up to the counter. *

Sabine: Hello, welcome to the Boulangerie Patisseire, how can I help you?

Female customer: I would like 6 pineapple donuts, please? They're for my book club meeting tonight.

Sabine: Okay, 6 pineapple donuts. Anything else?

Female customer: (looking down at her son) What would you like, sweetie?

Little boy: I want a chocolate brownie, please?

Sabine: (putting in the total) Okay. 6 pineapple donuts and one chocolate brownie, that'll be 7 euros. Would you like to pay with cash or card?

Female customer: I'll pay with card.

Sabine: Okay. Just swipe it whenever you're ready.

Female customer: Okay. *She let go of her son's hand, go inside her purse, pulled out her wallet, get her debit card out, and swiped it. The transaction went through. Mulan put together a box for the donuts, Bridgette gets a pair of tongs to pick up the donuts. *

Bridgette: Ready?

Mulan: Ready. *Bridgette picked up one pineapple donut at a time and place it in the box. * There. *She closed up the box and place it on the counter. *

Sabine: Thank you, girls. *Mushu gets a small bag for the brownie, Bridgette hold the tongs, get a piece of chocolate brownie, then put it in the bag, and Mushu closed it up. *

Mushu: One chocolate brownie.

Sabine: (taking the bag from Mushu) Thank you. Here you go, ma'am.

Female customer: (taking her order) Thank you. Come on, sweetie. *She and her son leaves the bakery. *

Sabine: Next? * A female lady and her daughter walked up to the count. * Hello, ma'am. How can I help you?

Female customer: I made an order earlier for the one dozen carrot cupcakes. They're for my daughter's birthday.

Sabine: Oh, yes. Your name's Cecilia, correct?

Cecelia: Yes. Cecilia Patterson.

Sabine: Okay. I'll check if the cupcakes are done. *She head to the back kitchen and see the boys wrapping up their baking. * Tom, are the one dozen carrot cupcakes all done? Cecilia is here to pick them up.

Tom: They're ready.

Sabine: Good. Just bring them out.

Tom: Okay. *Sabine stepped back to the front of the counter, Tom looked at the fresh baked carrot cupcakes, he hold the box, and walk out of the kitchen. * Here are the cupcakes.

Sabine: Thank you, honey. *He put the box down on the counter. *

Cecilia: Thank you. 

Sabine: Is there anything else?

Cecilia: (looking at her daughter) What would you like in here, honey? *The little girl looked at the display glass at what she wanted. *

Little girl: That one, mommy. *Cecilia looked at what her daughter was pointing at. *

Cecilia: What are you seeing, honey? *She spotted what she was pointing at. * Oh, you want an ecliar? *Her daughter nodded her head yes. * Okay, one chocolate eclair for her, please?

Sabine: (putting in the total) Your total is 7-euros. Would you like to pay with cash or card?

Cecilia: I'll pay with cash. My pay check came in today.

Sabine: Okay, good to hear. *She opened her purse, pulled out her wallet, pulled out her money, and handed the money to Sabine. * Thank you. *She opened the register, put the money inside, and closed up the register as Mulan put the chocolate eclair in a part bag, and she handed Sabine the bag. * Thank you, Mulan. Here you go, ma'am.

Celilia: (holding the box of cupcakes and the little girl gets the bag where the eclair is inside. * Let's go, honey.

Little girl: Okay. Thank you.

Sabine: (waving goodbye to them) You're welcome, bye. *The door closed, soon, a customer walked up to the counter, and it was Roger. * Oh, hello Roger.

Roger: Hi, Sabine. I know you close the bakery in a few minutes, right?

Sabine: Yes, we do, Roger. Is there anything in mind would you like here? *Roger looked over all the pastries, pies, cakes, cookies, and different types of breads in the bakery. * 

Roger: It's my turn to pick out fresh baked goods for morning tea tomorrow. Think you can get it done by tomorrow?

Sabine: Of course. *Melanie hands Sabine a notepad and a pen. * Thank you, Melanie. *She clicked the pen. * How many donuts?

Roger: 1 dozen donuts. 

Sabine: (write down the order) 1 dozen donuts. Any flavor of donuts?

Roger: I would say assorted. Not sure what everyone's favorite flavor donut is.

Sabine: An assort is a variety of all flavor donuts. I can help with picking them out.

Roger: Thank you, Sabine. I'll come by tomorrow and pick them up. Do I pay now or pay tomorrow?

Sabine: You can come by tomorrow and pay up.

Roger: Okay. Thank you. *He leaves the bakery and Sabine closes the pen. * 

Bridgette: Special order?

Sabine: Somewhat. We'll sort out the box of donuts tomorrow before we go to the wedding.

Bridgette: Okay. 

Melanie: (looking at the time) Guess it's closing time.

Sabine: Huh, already? *She looked up at the clock on the wall and see the time too. * Huh, it is. 

Bridgette: Well you know what they say, "time flies when you do something."

Sabine: (chuckled) Yes, it's true. Bridgette, would you mind sweeping the floor?

Bridgette: Sure, mom. 

Sabine: Mulan, you can mop the floor once Bridgette is done sweeping.

Mulan: Okay.

Sabine: Melanie, you can help count the money from the tip jar.

Melanie: Alrighty.

Mushu: What can I do?

Sabine: You can help wipe down the counter, Mushu.

Mushu: Got'cha. *Sabine gets out a spray bottle and a roll of paper towels then placed them on the counter. * Thank you. *He gets the bottle and paper towel, then get to work on the counter and everyone else works on the closing clean up shift. While Tom, Marin, Timmy, and Shang start cleaning up the kitchen, cleaning up the utensils, and restocking the ingredient items in the fridge and pantries. On the Liberty, everyone's playing freeze dance, so far Alix, Max, Shantel, Phoebe, Lily, Blu, Chris, Joshua, Sky, Timmy, Flora, and Tecna are out at the moment. Nino play the song again and everyone kept dancing to the music, while in the kitchen, Anarka started setting up the cake and Othiteka took the ice cream out of the freezer. *

Aurora: What a nice cake. Where did you get it?

Anarka: I picked it up at the bakery. I had it requested the day before the party. 

Aurora: That looks nice. What bakery was it from?

Anarka: The Dupain-Cheng bakery. Marinette's parents own a bakery.

Fergus: Who is this "Marinette"? 

Anarka: Oh, Luka didn't introduce Marinette to you?

Fergus: No. This is the first time we're hearing this. 

Anarka: I'll be right back. 

Othiteka: Anarka, you got digit candles or individual candles?

Anarka: Number candles. It's better than the individual candles. Mind putting them on the cake?

Othiteka: Sure. 

Anarka: Okay. *She walks upstairs to the upper deck as Othiteka puts the number candles on the cake, she sees the kids dancing, and having fun. She saw Luka getting some water, so she went over to him. * 

Luka: Hey, mom.

Anarka: Hey, lad. Think you can come downstairs for a second? And bring Marinette too.

Luka: (putting his cup down) Uh, sure. What for?

Anarka: Your grandparents want to meet your girlfriend.

Luka: Oh, okay. 

Anarka: Thank you, lad. *She walked downstairs to the living room, Luka walked over to Marinette who was talking to Amber and Zoe. *

Luka: Hey, you got a second? 

Marinette: Uh...

Amber: It's okay, we'll talk some more when you come back.

Marinette: Okay. *Luka held Marinette's hand and they walked downstairs to the living room. * So, what's this about?

Luka: Juleka and I forgot to tell the others who are inside. My grandparents are here.

Marinette: Your grandparents?

Luka: Yeah, they'll see them when they come up for cake later.

Marinette: Okay. *They reached downstairs to the living room. * Oh, hello.

Fergus: Hello, lass.

Luka: Marinette, this is my grandparents. My grandpa Fergus and my grandma Aurora. This is Marinette, my girlfriend.

Fergus: (walking up, shaking her hand) Nice to meet you, Marinette.

On the Island, in the Volcano Lair, Scarlet Truther thinks about what past akumatized villain she can corrupt for the rest of the day.

Scarlet Truther: Ugh who knew corrupting a villain could be so hard to think of. But something will come to mind. Something destructive, something vulnerable to any power that's being thrown out, and more level minded than all the rest. *She thinks a little bit more. In the bakery, all the cleaning is done and the dishware is all clean. *

Tom: Okay, are well done here?

Bridgette: Yep.

Mushu: (handing the spray bottle and paper towel roll) Here you go.

Sabine: Thank you, Mushu.

Tom: Okay, I'll lock up and shit off the lights. You guys can go in the house, Melanie, you can clock out too.

Melanie: Okay. Thanks. I'll see you tomorrow.

Sabine: We'll be close tomorrow.

Melanie: Close? Why?

Sabine: We got a double wedding catering.

Melanie: Oh, a double wedding? Who's getting married?

Tom: Logan and Crystal and Jillian and Willaim.

Melanie: Wow. I assume you got both wedding cakes done?

Tom: Yep. They're ready to go for tomorrow.

Melanie: Okay. I'll be off. 

Sabine: Bye, Melanie. Thank you again for helping out today.

Melanie: (taking off her apron) You're welcome. I'll see you on Monday. *She hangs up the apron and leaves the bakery. *

Bridgette: Since we're all done in here, think we can go now?

Tom: Sure, have fun. Be back when the party is over.

Marin: (taking off his apron) Okay.

Timmy: Can I come too?

Bridgette: (taking off her apron) Sure.

Timmy: Yes! *He takes off the apron, he hangs it up along with the others, and they leave the bakery, Tom then walks to the door to lock it, and flips the open sign to closed. * 

Tom: There. Another successful day. *Everyone else leaves the bakery and head inside the house as Tom turns the light off too. Soon, his phone rang, he pulled it out, and saw who was calling. It was Gina. He answered the phone. * Hi, mom.

Gina: (on the phone) Hello, Tom. How are you?

Tom: (through the phone) Good. We just closed up the bakery for the day.

Gina: (on the phone) That's nice.

Tom: (on the phone) So, where are you traveling now?

Gina: (on the phone)  I'm in Shanghai right now.

Tom: (on the phone) Oh, Shanghai. That's where Wang and Fei are at.

Gina: (on the phone, looking up at the sign) Yes, yes. I'm standing outside of the Thousand Delights Restaurant. 

Tom: (through the phone) That's nice, mom. Hope you enjoy your trip.

GIna: (on the phone) I will. I'll tell Wang you and the others said hi. Love to my bambinos. 

Tom: (chuckled) Okay, bye.

GIna: (through the phone) Bye. *They both hung up, Tom put his phone in his pocket, he leaves the back kitchen, turned the lights off, and he started walking upstairs to the front door of the house. *
